Never thought the time would come that I couldn't endure a 2.5-hour weekday drive from L.A. to the Coachella Valley without a pit stop. However, when routing dictates SR 60 (vs. I-10), the trip often takes longer due to lengthy Ontario and Riverside bottlenecks spanning pre- and post-rush hour.Good news is, not long after escaping the Riverside morass, an offramp sign appears for the commercially vibrant Perris Boulevard and its wealth of welcoming way stations. Lately, this Moreno Valley Carl's Jr. has been there for me and my coupons with a clean, unlocked restroom, and capably prepared snacks and sandwiches.Unable to speak to other reviewers' unsettling allegations about this location, either I'm very lucky, or it actually pays to just go there (usually mid-afternoon for me), walk up to the counter, pay cash, and munch in my car parked in the shadow of a tree, unless the local homeless got there first.The reasonably priced sandwiches featuring fish or spicy chicken have been excellent, and the "low carb"-style burgers wrapped in long, sturdy green-leaf lettuce are way more picturesque than the standard (bun) versions seen on the company's posters and advertising.Fried zucchini typically comes out hot, as did the jalapeno popper bites I got last time with a coupon, but from now on I'll pass on the latter: deep-fried batter pockets filled with a hint of ground jalapeno and a coupla teaspoons of runny nacho cheese; one step beyond eligibility as a sensible snack.

I believe that I was discriminated against due to my ethnicity, and I would like to detail the events that transpired.On 10/12/2024, I visited the drive-thru at the Moreno Valley location with my family. Upon arrival, there was one car in front of me and no cars behind me. I noticed that the car in front of me had ordered three kid-sized drinks and was asked to pull forward, presumably to wait for their food. I hoped that I wouldn't have to wait too long for my order.When I reached the window, I was given my three large drinks, and I was surprised to receive my three large burger combos immediately, despite the car in front of me still waiting for their order. As soon as I arrived home, I began feeding my autistic son. Being diabetic and not having anything to eat, I tried one of the fries and noticed they were cold. I began to eat my meal and quickly realized that my food was cold. My double burger and onion rings were unacceptably cold, and I asked my brother, who is mentally challenged, if his fries were also cold. He confirmed that they were. My non-verbal autistic son, Malik, will eat almost anything, so naturally, he ate his cold food without resistance.As a diabetic, my blood sugar was low, and I needed to eat something, so I had to eat my cold burger, but the cold onion rings were inedible. I took a picture of the onion rings before discarding them. Frustrated, I returned to Carl's Jr. to speak with the manager about the issue. Unfortunately, the manager was unprofessional and lacked integrity. When I requested a gift card as compensation for the poor quality of food, he refused and only offered a credit valid for one week.I believe this manager serves cold food to African American customers while providing fresh food to others. As I sat in my car calling the Carl's Jr. complaint number, I noticed a non-black woman exiting the drive-thru and waiting for her food in the parking lot. I spoke with her, and she mentioned that she had ordered a kid's meal for her autistic nephew and was wondering why she had to wait despite no one else being in line. I asked her to touch her bag and tell me if it was hot and she said yes, it was warm.This incident has left me feeling discriminated against and disrespected. I spent approximately $46 on this meal, and I believe this supervisor's actions warrant investigation. Ordered at the cash register on a Saturday afternoon. There was plenty of parking and no wait at all. It was one of the cleanest Carl's Jr. I've been to. Service was decent and the food came out very quick. Everything was hot and tasted good. We ordered the original burger, western bacon burger, spicy western bacon burger, guacamole bacon burger, and waffle fries. My favorite was the spicy western burger. I wished the patties had more of a char and I wished the bacon was more crunchy as well. Fries were well seasoned and crispy. Carl's Jr. is pretty expensive compared to other fast food restaurants, but pretty good especially with coupons from their app. Overall, would come again!

I love Carl's Jr. but I'll never order from this location again. I ordered through Uber eats app. I ordered the Big Carl meal and added beacon... what did I receive....??? Wait for it..! Meat and bread no lettuce, no onions, no beacon, etc just meat and bread. Y'all suck! Never again... I'm pretty sure I'd get a better burger in jail. Can't believe I paid for this crap

If I could Post with ZERO I would becuz it is well deserved. Why? Never, have we encountered such a display of utter incompetence and lack of concern to duty of care or responsibility by a manager, anywhere! The issue relates to a bill total adjustment and the manager being unable to correct a 10% calculation, nor having the authority, or perhaps was simply unwilling to extend the authority, to correct the miscalculated total and willing to accept the cancellation instead, of a $34.30 order, rather than extend the correction or other remedy to compensate for the error of the claimed software limitation. Whatever the case, the manner and condescending attitude exhibited by the female manager at the time (Sunday, 01/16/2022, @ approx. 6:15-6:30 pm), was enough for us to take our business elsewhere and ask that she cancel our order. I can honestly say that we believe even her own male employee was embarrassed by her behavior and handling of the matter. If this is the acceptable practice that the Carl's Enterprises condones of their managers, then it is clear to see why business has and continues to drop. After this experience, we certainly are not inclined to return at all, which is very sad after having enjoyed the franchise for some time. It's unfortunate the quality of service has fallen off so sharply. Perhaps some lessons could be learned from the "In N Out" or "Chick fil A" franchises on customer service.

I am so disappointed. I ordered a chicken wrap. The chicken wasn't crispy and it was only three inches. I ordered a milk shake and received a strawberry drink. I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait. The wrap was 5.00 and the drink was 4.My last time stopping at this Carl Jr.
