Cardenas Markets

I come often for drinks, and others goods. Today i came to produce section for once .Cardenas essential , tomatoes, onions , cilantro, and limes were terrible. Their meat section is good but produce section needs a lot of work.

Ok so today was my 3rd time at this location! I am so surprised it's at such a low star rating. Though I don't really speak to any workers, I have been in the "cocina" area 3 times which is the pre cooked kitchen area. I have purchased anything from a burrito to, today, I got the pozole weekend special. My Spanish is limited and their English is limited but eventually I walked away with my delicious pozole! lol! The lady was very nice and tried to teach me the Spanish word for "cabbage" lol! I already forgot it though lol! I checked out at the cocina cash register for my pozole then went to the self check out for my mango and tajin that I purchased today. In the past I've found their pan dulce and pan was the freshest of the 4 Cardenas locations I've gone to. I just moved to north upland And though I live farthest from this location i will take the 20 min drive here from now on. I hope I don't run into any negative issues at this location in the future. Parking is pretty good. It seems to be a smaller store but definitely fresher and an easier "in and out" than other locations.

Worst food and service ever, prices are high while quality is the worst. We bought menudo and we have nothing but soup of hominy, yes no meat. Will never buy here.

Sorry inside food stands are not good. Please make sure there meat is fresh for the tacos. We got food poisoning.
