California Fish Grill

I come here weekly probably more than what my wallet wants lol. There isn't a feed back/survey type option at this location so I figured I'd share it here. Food and quality taste are always consistent given that my sauces are usually ordered on the side. Also consistent is the one worker who is always on his feet. He's hardworking, and very on top of things. They don't wear name tags but he's in his 20s(?) and always wears a mask (thank you for doing so esp working with food ). He's always aware of his surroundings and what needs to be done: welcomes customers, putting food on trays, calling names out, putting away food waste, offering to help customers, etc. I wish your act of service does not get unnoticed. On a last note, I still can't justify tipping because ordering from a kiosk and I go up to counter to claim my food feel very much like food court level service and def not something "shrinkflation" can justify tipping.

Food is great. But the girls behind the counter not so much. Not very friendly. Ashley the cashier comes off very rude. Other than that everything else was great and food was accurate

Found a hair in my fish and chips nothing but good food from the location in brea. Never ordering from here again.

The food is always hot and fresh, and so good I'm glad they've added the new sandwiches they're so delicious. Service was good, it's very clean inside, and staff is very friendly

I discovered California Fish Grill about two years ago in the Palm Springs area and I fell in love with the restaurant. I love the fresh shrimp plate. It's my favorite. The food is healthy well presented and very tasty. Everybody's very nice and if I need help with the order, they take care of it. I love the restaurant itself because it is aesthetically pleasing. I'm glad I found this one in Riverside because the one in the Palm Springs area is closed. I will definitely keep coming back to this location.

Walked in, saw the condition of the restaurant. Almost every table was dirty while literally the entire staff (minus the cooks) stood behind the counter laughing and talking. Customers were ordering off the self serve machines. Didn't even get a chance to order I saw this and left. If there was a manager, they didn't seem to be there tonight. Another customer noticed too and told me it's ridiculous. Sorry, I cannot support this and refuse to eat at places that don't see cleanliness of the dining area as a priority; which is a pity because the last time I ate here it was actually really good.

Great service, I like the smart screen that you can use to order! Nice atmosphere for a fast food kind of restaurant. We had the pina colada which was really strong and amazing. Along with the fried shrimp and calamari plate, which came with a very generous amount of fries. I prefered the calamari, it was super crispy on the outside and tender inside. Also the seasoning was not overpowering like in other places.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the food here. The food is delicious. I've had their branzino and (my now favorite) fire grilled shrimp (Cajun style and garlic butter). Their Brussel sprouts and fire roasted corn are really good. My favorite sides.Will definitely order from them again.

I don't usually write reviews but we always advise them to go easy on the sprouts but they always burn it and we can't really eat it. Besides this the food is good, the staff is amazing, and good vibes.
