"Such a hidden gem in downtown Chino!Everyone should try this place at least once in life! It's THAT good. Brandon & Jacob attentively checked on us without being intrusive at all. They promptly change the plates and offer to box up leftovers including the soup.Look forward to coming back to try other items on the menu such as the rack of lamb.Also there's a really nice full bar upfront and a second bar in the middle of the restaurant.Great job Centro Basco!"

"Let me start by saying I absolutely HATE leaving bad reviews but this definitely calls for a review! Walked up to the door, the hostess asked us if we had a reservation, LMAO, I think I heard crickets in there because literally there was one lady in there and the place was dead. Kinda caught me off guard but at the same time peeved me like hello you wish you were that busy! *****B Rating**** Wish I saw this sooner! Food took about 25 minutes to come out, no complimentary chips & salsa. By the presentation of the food it looked like it was going to be worthy, oh but don't be fooled--awful tasting. The rice minus well be rice a roni, the beans weren't cooked thoroughly so they were hard, the shrimp tacos: not quite sure if they were even shrimp, the taste was the equivalence of frozen battered shrimp, no flavor at all!!! Cold food--this was my last experience, 3rd time coming and officially have to cut this place out forever. Not worthy, wouldn't waste your money, I would have been more satisfied eating Taco Bell than here! So trust me when I say PASS this Place Up! Seriously. I literally grabbed fast food after leaving! I think their venue is most likely keeping this place alive because I don't know how they are staying afloat."

"Fun place to hang out. We went for happy hour and they were setting up for an event for that evening. The menu was cool because they had American dishes as well as Filipino dishes so we got a chance to try a few different things that we'd never try before. Everything came out looking great Flavor was awesome and the food dishes were really good. We will definitely go back to try a few other dishes."

"My husband came across a few of Blackbird's plates on someone's Instagram reel and -instantly- a brunch date was set for our next day off together! We came with reservations made for 1pm on a Friday thinking it'd be busy, but upon arrival quickly realized we may not have even needed it. Aside from us, there were only two other couples there, which didn't bother us one bit as that usually means faster service. We ordered the bottomless mimosas, my husband ordered their recommended burrito and I ordered the huevos rancheros. My plate had just the right amount of heat (spice) and full of flavor! My husband agreed. He ate his burrito so fast I forgot to take a picture but he was content- though not blown away. Only thing I did want to mention as my husband asked me to, is that my plate was brought out first, and stayed that way for a good 5-10 minutes. He just wished we both been served at the same time- and although I did share my plate with him, he just felt as if it would've been nice not to be left without a plate to eat for so long while I was already eating. I will agree- as all guests being served together promptly is usually* the norm for most restaurants. Also, be careful where you set down your mimosa glass on the tables as there are deep crevices in certain areas and my husband learned the hard way when his mimosa glass toppled over when he set it down near one of the crevices and it consequently spilled onto the table and onto him. Overall - the waiter and greeter were pleasant & food tasted great so we would definitely return and try some of their other newer plates!"
