"Came here for lunch with a few of my Yelp friends. The food was really good. Definitely enjoyed the noodle dish. And the sesame seed balls were delicious. We also ordered the dumplings and the meat roll pancake which also was very tasty. The restaurant is decorated really nicely. And for the most part of the service was OK. We had to keep tracking down people to refill waters and get our check. But for the most part, it was a good experience with tasty food. Would definitely like to order sushi next time."
"Best sushi and crunch rolls. Everything is always fresh. Waitresses are kind restaurant is clean. Bathroom is clean."

"Such a gem. YOU HAVE TO COME HERE FOR A CASUAL BIRTHDAY! It's such a fun time. You really feel the love this place pours into their food and customers. The people treat you like family."
"Our favorite sushi spot in Riverside by far. We've gone to basically every sushi joint within Riverside and Joe's is the one that has consistently brought us back.Their staff is incredible and friendly.Their chefs are masters of their craft.Portion sizes are just right. They brought back all you can eat.Pricing is second to none and they don't overwhelm their rolls and sushi with too much rice to fill you up.Their muscles are succulent and fresh, unlike some of the other restaurants whose muscles are pre made and kind of dry.Our favorite items are the pepper salmon, the always classic Philly roll, the tamago, and the pink lady roll.Inside the restaurant, it is clean and quiet. Three TVs are usually playing things like golf or a nature channel making for a child friendly environment as well.Sara, Danny, Brianna, and Amy handle the front of house and are extremely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an affordable yet quality sushi experience in the inland empire, look no further.Joes sushi is where it's at."
"Everything was delicious. The service was exceptionally good. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere inside. My family thoroughly enjoyed everything and will be back again."
"We saw the 50% off banner on display so here we are. We arrived a few minutes early and found the doors closer. At exactly noon, a server opened the doors to let us in. It has many seats to eat sushi at the counter as well as many tables and booths.Taiyos has a wide selection of rolls, bento combos, udon and ramen. The price for all-you-can-eat is $40 per person. My friend and I each ordered a ramen and a roll for lunch. Food arrived promptly. But I found the ramen kind of blend. Wasabi and ginger in the tray was so little that we had to ask for more.Overall it was a mediocre experience. The service was good but food & taste was a kind of let down."
"After finding out that a different local sushi restaurant was not open, we opted to come here because it was close by. The branding and aesthetics of the restaurant made me believe that it would be a little bit on the modern/pricey side, which was okay since we were celebrating a special occasion. As we entered, we were greeted by the friendly staff and they were very accommodating when we needed a bigger table for our increasing party size. The sushi was fresh and the rolls were very good! They gave a mountain of ginger, which was an instant A+ in my wife's book. The "regular" udon came with a fishcake and soft boiled eggs and was very good. The ramen seemed a little underseasoned until I tasted that it was the perfect compliment to the salty pork slices. I wish the portions were a little bigger, but it's not a big deal.We usually skip the desserts at restaurants and opt for other locations to satisfy our sweet tooth, but we stuck around and had a few mochi ice creams and regular and tempura ice creams. The tempura one is huge and is very good. Beware of the whipped cream though, as you need to dig through a mountain of it to find the rest of your dessert. The servers were amicable and helpful. The price was surprisingly reasonable, and the food was great! Hope to be back again soon!"
"Fantastic dinner and birthday celebration. Our servers Zoey and Grace were fun, efficient, and attentive. The food was great. Our favorites were the spider roll, eastvale roll, jalapeño roll, and jalapeño bomb. The portions were huge. 8 piece rolls. Our family ordered the mixed tempura, salmon crunch, red rock, alaska roll, and jalapeño roll. They loved everything. They sang Happy Birthday to my husband with flashing lights and music, so fun.We will definitely be back! The only picture I took was after we finished...lol"
"Been here a few times and I must say, that the good first impression was no fluke. This place has excellent food and service! They've even extended their happy hour during the weekdays to 11pm. Last call at 1030p for food. For the quality of food, serving sizes and the prices are worth it, especially Happy Hour prices. This spot is a hidden gem. So far everything we've had, has been on point. Don't wanna bore you with meal details, just look at the pics and the speak for themselves. Deborah was our server, very friendly, helpful and patient. Highly recommend this place!"
"Theses place are very good foods. Staffs are amazing to serve us a foods. This business are clean dinning room and bathrooms."
"Perfect place for last minute date night. Ayce menu, good price , friendly staff and chef. Delicious sushi."
"First time patrons and we were really impressed with the sushi. The plum wine was good, the prices are typical. 3-piece Bento plate was $20.99...nothing to complain about here. We will be back."

I have been to Rui's Shanghai Bistro once before, but for take-out only. I thought I had already did a review, but it looks like I haven't so I'm doing it now. After an amazing 2024 Yelp Falls Brew Fest, a small group of Yelpie friends and I walked over here for dinner. Upon entry, we immediately got our table with no wait time which was nice.Staff was super nice, friendly, and attentive. They brought our foods out all at once which was great. They refilled our water timely. Here's my take on the 5 dishes...1. Fish with pickled cabbage soup (medium spice) - Good amount of fish, pickled flavor was spicy and tangy. Very nice!2. Eggplant in garlic sauce (medium spice) - Excellent wok flavor! Good size eggplant.3. Mapo tofu (medium spice) - Probably should have gone with more spice, but then again, the numbing sensation came through at the end. This was my least favorite dish.4. Sauteed green bean with garlic - Amazingly tasty! Beans were crunchy! Great wok flavor!5. Chicken chow mein - Surprisingly good! Noodles were thinner than expected. More chicken would have been nice.Ambiance was cool and comfortable. Lots of dining space. Really high ceiling. They even have enclosed rooms for special events... they probably will need to be booked in advance. There's even a nice bar at one side of the restuarant.Overall, foods and service were on point. I highly recommend Rui's for any local or non-local resident visitor of Redlands. Come on by and check them out!

THE BEST SUSHI YOU CAN EVER HAVE. I've had the cheapest, to the most expensive money can buy. And I have to say, Joes is top 5 on my list. I've been coming here for years and have never left unsatisfied. The service is amazing and attentive. Will forever love this place.

Exceptional service every time. Thank you to their friendly and attentive staff. Delicious array of all-you-can-eat items. We had a chance to order three different rounds. So many dishes to choose from and I really enjoyed everything: ramen, tempura, edamame, yakisoba, gyoza, sashimi, lobster rolls (cooked), salad (my new favorite ginger dressing). Enjoyed some ice cream at the end as well. We definitely leave feeling very full and content.

Went here with the family for a bday. The service was very high quality. Attentive and not overbearing. Refills of drinks came regularly and the table always remained organized. The sushi and rolls ranged from good to very good. I like that not all dishes came at once. Good was delivered regularly but didn't overwhelm the table. And I like that the tip is added to the bill. Very good value, imho

My husband wanted sushi for dinner but not AYCE, and my daughter found this place on trusty Yelp. We were immediately seated and just in time, as we saw more customers arriving and they had to wait. My husband chose items based on the photos on the menu & ordered oysters on the half shell and the OMG roll. The OMG roll consisted of wrapped with salmon, mango, green onion and a house special sauce. Both were delicious appetizers. For my meal, I chose the gyudon beef bowl, which was simple & tasty. My only complaint was it needed a bit more meat as the rice to beef ratio was off. I tried a piece of tempura from my son's dinner combo, and it had a light batter & was not too oily. Will probably come back for their lunch or happy hour specials! Note: 18% gratuity is automatically added to parties of 5 or more.

I am so happy I tried this place! Best sushi in town! It is a small restaurant with big flavors! I don't have to go to OC anymore for sushi. Their food is fresh and sushi is top notch quality. The staff is super nice and provides great service.

"I dislike that they're so small! You walk in to about 6 small tables, and they seldom have an empty table so it's hard to get in here. The service is quick when you can get in so that's a plus, but I can only ever plan on getting my food to go. The seating area is clean and cozy. The food itself is good. We've tried it all. My favorite is the ramen of course, but the rolls come in at a close second."
"I had AYCE lunch here today. We were seated quickly, and the general ambiance was inviting. Everything was very fresh & good! The service was prompt & polite. My favorite menu items were: King Tuna Roll, cucumber salad, and the Dragon Roll."
"I have seen this place for a while, but I just grabbed something here the other night with Uber Eats. It was so good. I had to try it in person and I have to say it is a smartest thing I've done all year.Jasmine was my server, and you can tell that she really likes her job. I asked her about her recommendations and she was actually excited to share her knowledge and experience with the menu. You can tell that for her this is not just a job, but is something that she loves. And attitude like that is great to see. When it was slow, I noticed that the employees were all doing work related to the restaurant. Making sure things were stocked up, lining up things, taking care of other things here and there. Nobody was on their phone, nobody was chatting or texting, everybody was being very professional. if they are putting this much effort into the restaurant, that means they are also going to be putting as much effort into me as a customer. It's wonderful to not be treated like I'm in the way of somebody's chat.It does notend there. I opted for the all you can eat and tried something called the funky monkey based on Jasmine's recommendation. It was amazing and something I've never had before. Unexplainable. I made a pretty good dent in the menu, but I hit my limit and had to call it a day. I had an absolutely wonderful time and will be back. This place is an absolute treasure and anybody who finds it will definitely leave with a smile on their face. Please don't hesitate to try them out. I wish I had come by a lot sooner. I'm happy that I came through when I did and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu."
"First time coming in and I'm glad I stopped by. Poke was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area."
"This is our go to place for years now. Spicy tuna tempura roll, Playboy and the Crunchyroll. Always our first choice. My daughter likes the avocado roll and the miso soup. I highly recommends place"
"WOW 10/10 my first time here!! Me, my dad, & boyfriend came after being at the dealership all day (we got here at 8pm) and they greeted us when we walked in and were able to sit wherever. They got us drinks right away & we ordered and the food came out so fast! We got 4 appetizers of 3 miso soup, 1 shrimp tempura 5pc, 1 fried Goyza 5pc, 2 edamame (salted & spicy) & steamed rice. Everything tasted so fresh & warm & delicious, I have zero complaints! The ambiance was inviting and I really liked the music they played. The place is really cozy. Def coming back!"
"Tried the Shrimp Ceviche, drinks and the churro ice cream dessert and everything was amazing and Daniella was such an amazing server!!! Will definitely come back!"
"***Update Still can't recommend this place enough! My husband and I came back from San Diego for our annual tradition of sushi and walk the Festival Of Lights and Stacey without skipping a beat remembered us! She remembered our story and even where we sat last year! The food quality hasn't changed, still top notch! None of the rolls disappointed, everyone was super welcoming and attentive and very helpful. Thank you Oishii Sushi for another amazing year of amazing hospitality, quality food and beautiful memories!"
"This is our go to sushi restaurant. My daughter and I love salmon nigiri and maki rolls. I love the portion (they even add a bit of extra salmon on top of the nigiri). I love their wasabi (it is not the usual wasabi paste at restaurants. The rolls are also really delicious and the garlic edamame is so good. I often ask for a side of soy mustard and they are always accommodating. It's a bit of a drive from Redlands but we will continue to go because it's the best."
"This was our first time ever coming and we had a party of 5 with a baby. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was absolutely incredible.Upon checking in, we waited for 15 minutes, and were then seated and served drinks as well as an appetizer, the Palm Springs roll. We are on keto so we are avoiding eating too much rice or carbs. Our server was Julian, who was hands down the best server I've had in quite sometime! My wife and I went with the filet shrimp and filet and lobster, which I think was some of the best we've had. Instead of the rice, we asked for more vegetables. The chef we had was very fun and welcoming, he made sure to do the fun things for the kids and crack some jokes to keep the party engaged. My daughter got a vegetable noodles, but she was not too hungry, so she didn't eat too much. The miso soup and salad salad as good, and we also ordered sake, but it was a citrus/lemon type of sake that was chilled and very tasteful. Overall, it was worth it and we will be coming back as well as recommending to others!"
"Absolutely delicious. We did all you can eat & every roll was amazing. My husband particularly liked the Avenue L. The yellow tail was the best we've ever had. The servers are so nice and attentive. Love the umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, so cute. This is our new go-to sushi joint."
"Food is always great it's hard to find a decent sushi spot with quality sushi Our new regular spot for awhile now we love bringing friends and family!"
"Good spot and good service. They had a lunch special for $17 bucks which came with miso soup, salad, 3 pieces of sushi and a roll. All the rolls are not included in the lunch special but the list had some good options. There is a Lunch A and B list. With about a $2 difference in price. Both lunch specials I think were good options. The service was good considering it was busy. A group on folks walked in right after we did."
"Always good customer service & always good food.Came here for a birthday with a party of 12 adults and 2 children. Had a good time love the group photos that goes on the wall but my only complaint is is that I made the reservation two months in advance and asked if we'd be at the same table. I even called maybe a week or 2 before and was told yes again then we get there and were sat at two separate tables. Really frustrating"
"This is our go-to AYCE sushi spot in the Inland Empire. For just under $40 a person, the menu is pretty extensive and we like the variety of appetizers they offer. This location isn't too busy so we've never had to wait long to be seated. The dining area is dim lit and they usually have sports games playing on the TVs. The restaurant has an outdoor patio but I don't think I've ever seen anyone eat out there. We've eaten here several times and the service has been good. The workers clear empty plates off the table quickly and the sushi chefs are pretty fast at making your order. There have been a few occasions where some of the food we ordered never came or they brought us some dishes that we didn't order but it wasn't too big of an issue. For people who choose to do AYCE vs a la carte, I wish they had the option to order half rolls so we can try multiple ones without getting too full. As with all AYCE sushi places, there is a lot of rice in the specialty rolls. For the miscellaneous dishes on the AYCE menu, smaller portions would be appreciated as well. For example, I ordered the ramen thinking it would be a small bowl but it was a very large serving and it was difficult to finish. Overall, the food and service are good so give it a try!"
"If you're craving Unagi (eel) or really good sashimi, there is no place in at least a 30 mile radius that beats this restaurant. I was recently in Japan and this place has the same quality Unagi as the two Michelin star restaurant I went to in Tokyo. That fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth texture of well cooked unagi is near impossible to find in the US. But it's here y'all. Also, you have to get the Omakase here. The chef gives you the best cuts they have and that's how you eat good sushi! The pieces just melt in your mouth. The staff were very attentive but also kind enough to not interrupt our conversations. It's a really cute restaurant that has authentic Japanese decor -- an awesome place for first dates or meals with friends!Oh, I also forgot to mention -- the chef recommended us a really good sake called Shichida and wow, it was one of the best sakes I've ever had. Coming back for sure."
"Tonight we celebrated our anniversary and my wife wanted sushi. We found Sushi Kingdom in our own town and what a wonderful find it was. We were greeted by Angie as soon as we arrived. We decided in the All You Can Eat Special. We started off with Miso Soup and Spicy Garlic Edamame. After that we had a number of sushi rolls. The Dragon Roll, and Angie's Roll were our favorites. But all were delicious, made well, and fresh. We had a GREAT meal. The entire staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Angie was very helpful as we decided what to order. Angie even gave off nice recommendations. We can't wait to return to Sushi Kingdom as we will definitely share our find with our friends. The next time you are craving sushi in Ontario consider Sushi Kingdom. You will leave there totally satisfied."
"Just Wow!!! This place is so good!!! We ordered way too much food but it was awesome!!! Very quick service and awesome! It's located in a shopping center close to my home, so it's safe. Very clean restaurant and pleasant atmosphere! Try these:Dynamite RollBaked Salmon RollLas Vegas Roll"
"Smells good walking in! Was really craving ramen but the nearest options were ridiculous at $17-$18 a bowl, with reviews talking about skimping out and quality being subpar. I was not taking any chances! Food just doesn't hit like before and quality for the value can be hard to find, but this place gets it.Right when I walked in there was a flavorful aroma that let me know I was in for a treat. The place was empty with 2 other patrons, which was perfect for me. As soon as we sat, we were handed menus and given a moment to make selections.I was set on the Tonkatsu, my kids had the miso and udon selections. Spicy edamame was ordered for appetizer and it was definitely a highlight for the experience. The Udon came with a side of popcorn chicken and it was so flavorful, crispy, and delicious - definitely recommend! The star of the show is obviously the ramen! Just look at that picture - the portions, the color, the variety. I took one sip of the broth and dove right in. Every bite was umami with the perfect amount of green onion and ginger. The textures, the flavors, the warmth of the broth and the heat from the spicy edamame were a whole experience for me. I haven't had a good food experience like this in a long time and I'm just so grateful to have found this gem."
"Poke & Maki is a solid option for good poke. Staff are nice enough. Service is pretty quick; it honestly just depends on how fast people are when picking their options. The interior is clean, nicely decorated, and has a good amount of indoor seating. A single stall (clean) restroom is available. Parking is easy as they have a shared private lot in a medium-sized plaza. Noise level is mild, but could be moderate if they're busier. The poke is great! They have a good amount of protein and topping options, and everything looks and tastes fresh. The protein is all tasty; though, the spicy salmon is not spicy at all. They aren't overly generous with portions, but even a small bowl's overall serving size is satisfying. Pre-made poke bowls, rice bowls, and sushi rolls are available. They also offer various bottled drinks and some simple desserts. Prices are fair; they're actually cheaper than most places.Overall, they are worth a try if you're in the area!"
"The place has definitely changed since the last time I was here. This was the first place I had sushi EVER. I specifically remember this small paper menu that said there was happy hour all day for options highlighted in grey. Now this pricing was pre pandemic so I expected the prices to have changed. But going from having a bunch of options at a decent price to nothing is unfortunate. Staff I encountered were nice and the attentiveness was good. The place needs a bit of a touch up for sure. The rolls we got were good but I paid about $60 for 2 rolls and a kids meal. Inflation is a pain in the ass. Bring bag the half off menu and I'll be back."
"I ordered online, but they didn't see my order until I came in to pick it up due to a system glitch. I chose to wait and it didn't take too long. Hailey was very nice and courteous. She made up for the wait and for an item I ordered that they were out of which I appreciated. The sushi itself is fresh and tasty. I got the Hidden Valley roll, Lemon roll, and garlic edamame. They definitely satisfied my craving. I will come back, although I think I'll order over the phone rather than online next visit."
"Such a unexperienced! The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and they were so helpful with all of our questions. It's a really cool private restaurant with Omakasa style eating you get to order from a couple menus and they give you your own sushi chef who prepares for you either a tasting or 13 course tasting. Definitely a fun experience will be back!"
