"Another visit to The Guac, and this time was BEST of all! I called in an order of 11. The patient lady could not speak English but fortunately I speak pupusa. The pupusas were larger and thicker than before, super hot, and some of the insides came out and made amazing crispy spots. Yum. Mrs. Yelper took some to work for a co-worker, who is naturally now terribly beholden to Mrs. Yelper. You can't get these too many places."
"Hey everyone just wanted to give everyone the heads up on a new spot I found in the Rialto area.. really good Salvadorian food.. awesome pupusas .. so delicious check them out if you get a chance and help out! Def.Recommend!"
"Salvadoran food is great here, atole de elote is great here. Authentic food. Salvadoran drinks are great too"
"I've found my new favorite pupuseria and it's nice and close to work. It's small and you might have to wait for a table but it's definitely worth the wait! I had a revuelta and a queso pupusa and they were both delicious! I love that they give you plenty of salsa and curtido also. Will definitely be back to try their other pupusas."
"Our go-to place for pupusas in the San Bernadino area. We usually get the six pupusa special (a great deal!). We like to call in our order ahead of time and pick up the food, but as long as it's not hot outside, it's not too bad to wait outside either (the interior is fairly cramped due to lack of space). We've also ordered just salsa and curtido before, after getting frozen pupusas from a grocery stores--they were good too. We are vegetarian, so we usually get the cheese and jalapeño, bean and cheese, zucchini and cheese, garlic and cheese, and vegetable and cheese pupusas. All delicious. Great customer service--sweet little ladies who are patient when I order using my limited Spanish (I typically order in English but I get brave sometimes)."
"This was one of several recommendations that came up in my query for pupusas. Albeit quite the distance from the nest, I decided to give this place a go. The shopping center is a place of old and new and parking is abundant. I came right before the dinner crowd, so there was a wait but not too painful. Service was prompt and friendly.I ordered 3 pupusas... jalapeño y queso, chicharron, and asada y queso. All were made to order and fresh. The curtido was somewhat limp and had slight heat. So why the 3 star? Ya wanna check your order and receipt before you leave... I was too excited, yo I didn't realize they charged me a revuelta pupusa I never ordered and didn't receive. Dang. Oh, there is an added $.50 for credit card use...If this was a jump skip, I would've come back to correct and get my money back. But 24 miles round trip is just too far.... yea, I'm completely undecided if I'll be back. Sigh."
"I needed to kill a bit of time and I was hungry. We went to this spot because it was walking distance. It was quiet with the television on but not loud. The waitress was quick with taking our order and the food was good. I added salt to my plate but it had the basic flavors that need to be in the dish. They offer both mild and spicy salsa with a jar of curtido at the table. We love having access to unlimited toppings with this dish."
"Great little hole in the wall! I walked in at 6pm on a Monday and asked for an estimated time. The worker said it depended on what I order, I said I would be ordering 4 pupusas and she gave me an estimated time of 20-25min. I thought this was reasonable, because they were being made from scratch.I ordered the following pupusas:Chicharrón: I could not really taste the chicharrón, but it did have a little spicy kick to it. Fair pupusa, nice size and good maza(dough).Revuelta (chicharrón, beans, cheese): This one has a little more flavor due to the beans and cheese. Again, fair pupusa.Bean and cheese: This pupusa was my favorite! So simple, yet so flavorful. The beans tasted great, along with the cheese. What really brings THE FLAVOR are the toppings. You are give a side of curtido (cabbage salad) and a tomato based salsa. Both of these were excellent! In addition, I was asked if I wanted a side of hot sauce and I decided to get it. The hot sauce was very spicy, but good. I would recommend to go easy on it!I plan on returning for the bean and cheese pupusa and possibly trying a different filling!"
"Excellent service and delicious food! Authentic 'hole in the wall' experience. I got 2 Pollo y Queso Pupusas with Watermelon Aqua fresca.I like that the pupusas are not greasy. Perfect amount of flavor complimented with Vinegar Cabbage and spicy Salsa. Delicious!"
"Great friendly service... Food is delicious. Aguas frescas to dream about. Very clean restrooms and a calm atmosphere. Welcome to San Bernardino! Hope to see you guys very soon, again and again."
"So I work near by with a 45 minute lunch so right off the bat they are busy but that's because everything is made to order. This was my first time here and I gotta say the food was delicious. I got the 3 Papusa combo and it come with black beans and rice which was really good. I haven't had black beans that good in a long time. I would recommend you call in the order just to be on the safe side. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items.."
"Delicious! Not sure why they weren't added to Yelp yet, but I had to let my fellow Yelpers in on this amazing restaurant.I ordered bean/cheese, and chicken pupusas and plantains with crema and beans. I asked for the plantains well done; I like that crisp on the edges.Everything was made fresh to order and you can tell they put love into everything they make.Overall everything was very tasty. I will definitely be back to try the casamiento (rice and beans) and some other flavors of the pupusas. They had zucchini, loroco, cheese for vegetarians also.Don't hesitate, place an order on Uber Eats for delivery or pickup. They also take walk ups."

This place used to be decent but a lot of the ingredients changed including the quality, quantity and size. I would not recommend them at all.Pupusa day is Wednesday and you can get pupusas for a dollar each. If you disregard my review than Wednesday would be the day to come.

I ordered about 20 pupusas for pick up. Customer service was great! The food was ready on time. I ordered all revueltas and they were perfectly balanced. Very tasty and full of flavor. The added sauces and toppings were also delicious! There was plenty of parking and seating inside as well. The interior looked clean when I entered the restaurant. I have gone back 3 times already! Definitely recommend this place.

My favorite pupusa is the loroco, and this is currently my preferred option in the area!I have only been once, but I ordered the Especial #1 (Pupusa, pastel, y empanada - I believe) and Horchata Salvadorean. The Salvadorean Horchata is interesting, with a more complex chocolate-like note.In the future, I think I will get a regular Horchata (de arroz), and I will get 2 or 3 pupusas (without anything extra). However, I certainly plan to return, and think my order was an excellent choice for a first visit!

Must know: Delicious pupusas and tacos! A little longer wait, but worth the wait. Lots of parking and seating for bigger and smaller parties.Food (F): We got Number 1 (pupusa revueltas), 49 (2 tacos), and 50 (3 tacos). These might have been one of the best pupusas I ever had. You can tell it's made fresh! Ambiance (A): Clean and comfortable dining experience. Lots of large parties eating here during brunch time. No wait for a large party of 8. Parking (P): Lots and free!Service (S): So kind and generous. They check in on you and make sure everything is going well.

Friendly staff and a good late breakfast/lunch spot across from the Santa Fe Depot in San Bernardino. The food is good, and they take Restaurant.com coupons. Close to Valley College as well.

Came here as this is the closest place to our new place and it did not disappoint! It's a small hole in the wall spot but the cooks know what they're doing! My husband and I came here for a quiet Friday evening. 3 out of the 5 tables were occupied. It's a good ambience too. The food was delicious. Pupusas were not greesy and the atol de elote was sooooo good! We will be coming back for sure!

"I love the pupusas here! I usually get the loroco, but I've tried the espinaca, calabaza, and camaron-- never been disappointed. My roommates typically get the chicharron and asada. They've had nothing but good things to say! The filling ratio is on point and the pupusas are always super fresh. As for all the reviews mentioning poor service, I've never experienced that here. My roommate is the whitest of white boys who grew up in the south and had never heard of pupusas before. They still treated him kindly and made sure to clarify ingredients and ensure that he actually got what he wanted. So I'm not sure where the perception that they treat you poorly based on ethnicity or familiarity with Salvadoran food came from. Tl;dr: The pupusas are delicious. The people are friendly and helpful."
"After searching like crazy for pupusas locally, found this spot and they are pretty good.Order ahead and get them quickly with the sauce and curtido. Not a bad price either!"
"I believe they changed ownership despite the name of the business not matching the menu restaurant inside the building when ordering. The pupusas were alright. I wasn't like "oh wow!" but it was good. Service was great. Wait time for pupusas are usually a cool minute but that's normal because it isn't tacos and requires more time. When I went in, hardly anyone was there but this place looks like it's in a good location, so I expect it to be more busy during peek hours. Over all I would recommend."
"Las pupusas están bien deliciosas pero lo que más me encanta son las crepas!! Son una perfección! Yo recomiendo este restauran mil veces! Los que me sirvieron fueron tan amables! Como me gustaría que muchos más sepan de este lindo lugar! Se merecen ser más conocidos! The pupusas are delicious but what I love best is their crepes! They are so good! I recommend this place to anyone looking to eat pupusas or crepes or just don't know what to eat cuz the food here doesn't disappoint. The service was great! They were so nice and helpful! I wish more people knew about this place because they deserve to have a lot of business! The place is small, one could eat there with a friend or two but honestly it's more of a takeout spot."
"One of my favorite Central American food spots. Food is delicious! Service is fast and staff is very attentive. Servings are generous and prices are decent! I would strongly recommend this spot to family and friends. One observation though is that their coffee seems to have changed in the past year. I used to think it was very strong but now it feels somewhat flavorless."
"Everything was super delicious and cooked fresh... the fresco drink with apples was amazing"
"The queso and carne asada pupusas were so good and the plantains are addictive! I'm so glad we swung by on the way back from Temecula. It's the perfect meal for a cold windy night."
"The pupusas are delicious! Corn tamale and ensalada de fruta amazing too! They cook everything fresh! Nice little Salvadorian restaurant."
"As a Pupusa connoisseur I have to say these pupusas are by far the absolute best. Let's first start off with the size, they are pretty big compared to most. Secondly the taste... wow! When I tell you these are the best tasting pupusas, they are! Trust me! Now for the service... you can order ahead of time by calling them and they deliver, you can pick up or dine in. I usually have my order delivered. All in all, these are the best! If you don't believe me... try them for yourself. You will Not Regret it. Si no me crees... pruébalas tú mismo. No te arrepentirás."
"Yummm yumm yumm A little cramped inside an a tad bit hard to find because of the bigger stores next to it But once you find it , you will be happy that you did. The food was super fresh! And worth the price"
"I came here for the first time a few days ago around 11:30. There were only 2 other people eating in the restaurant, so my order was taken quickly.I ordered to go, to take the food home to my family.4 x 2 pupusas (chicharron con queso)So a total of 8 pupusas that came with 4 bags of curtido and 4 bags of red salsa, 2 madeleines, 2 duet bites and a few mini lollipops.Total price $32.32I was told it would take about 20 min to make them, but I think it was even faster. We liked the flavor of the pupusas, not too oily. Would definitely buy again. The restaurant was clean, they have a few tables and there is plenty of parking outside."
"My fave when I'm craving pupusa's and Salvadoran food. The family that owns this is amazing and encouraged to support small business."
"We placed a phone order for 10 popusas. They are delicious they were like homemade. We ordered Loroco con queso, Frijol con queso and revueltas. Definitely would like to try other menu items. The owner is making them she was super kind, and welcoming! She shared that she has been struggling to stay busy. I hope this post will encourage people to give them an opportunity as they are really good! I got the 10 Puposa's for $35 definitely a great deal!"
"The pupusas here are very tasty, and I highly recommend getting the queso con loroco pupusa. Staff is very nice, and very welcoming. They let me try a few of their salvadorian drinks that I've never had which I thought was a very nice gesture. I'll definitely be back, gracias salvi's!"
"This place SMACKS. We ordered the Salvi sampler for $17. It comes with 3 mini pupusas, fried yucca, beef pastelitos, salsa, curtido. Sopa de res was good too. Will definitely be back for my fix."
"First time here. Never had Salvadorian food before. It was really good. I enjoyed it. Food was fresh and homemade. The service was really good. Nice server and owner. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. I'd definitely come back here."
"Pupusas were good and the "curtido" very tasty. The juice "ensalada" was a bit sugary for my taste, but ok. Cashier and personnel were courteous and friendly. I wanted to ordered a large order for the following days. I ordered 12 pupusas and two orders of plátanos maduros and beans. These were excellent! To the point! Very nice. Sorry no pictures- forgot, all was gone -"
"Chivazo is super delicious and super authentic! The pupusas are handmade fresh to order so expect a little wait. If you're in a rush you for sure should call ahead. If you're new around here and are looking for a flavorful meal I recommend trying a revuelta pupusa and a queso con loroco pupusa. With this entree it will come with pickled cabbage (curtido) and salsa (not spicy very mild and more tomatoy). 2 pupusas is plenty for an adult but if you're a hungry person like myself 3 is sufficient. I also recommend the pastellitos. Super good! Think of them as this crispy empanada type filled with savory goodness. The agua frescas are BOMB! All around I had a very good experience. The place is clean, had modern decor and is well lit. The business is located behind jack in the box and pretty easy to find if you keep your eyes peeled. Plenty of parking. In my experience, everyone is bilingual and friendly. Also eager to recommend foods if you're new to the cuisine. I love it here! So yummy. My parents and boyfriend loved it too. Will take photos along my journey eating here. 5/5!"
"First and foremost, the food is DELICIOUS. Carne asada, chicken tamale, chorizo, revuelta pupusa. Every single item we tried so far was excellent. Great flavor, food temperature, and portion size. Staff was also very friendly. Minus one star because the menu is all in Spanish. Also, none of the staff for the 2x we've gone spoke any English. This made it difficult for the hubby to choose his own items or ask any questions. Luckily I was able to communicate some. It may be difficult for some that don't speak Spanish to order or ask questions. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Food4Less and has plenty of parking. Highly recommend trying as the food is flavorful!"
"We had the pupusas with chicharrón and cheese. The pupusas are big, so you may get full with one. We also had the fried plantain, eat it right away. It does not taste the same when you let it get cold. The agua frescas are fresh and really good. I had the Jamaica, big size and very refreshing. The restaurant is small. It can get busy during rush hours. The service is excellent and very friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. The restaurant is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking ."
"From the ie the only other place that has pupusas this good is los molajetes in Fontana... the pupusas are so f'en good I've came 9 times in the last 3 days to eat here"
