(He deserves a raise!) ordered the spicy cheese bites which were delightful and will order again the next time I'm there. I also ordered the sourdough burger to go so I could take it with me. The burger and fries were great and I recommend them. It is a sports bar so the lighting is somewhat dim so if you have bad eyes like me it may be difficult to read the menu. If you have the opportunity, stop by and order something to eat and drink!"

Sheila J. "What an awesome place! If you're ever in the Corona area, please check out Boondock's. Heck, we drove out from Placentia/Orange County! The owner, Nigel, and his wife are both amazing people. He served in the special forces both in Ireland and here in the U.S. We look forward to adding them as an Orange County Law Enforcement Emerald Society (OCLEES) substation. I've lived over here for 6 years and yes I thought it was exactly what the stereotype makes you think it is but it's NOT!!!! The workers are super friendly and welcoming to EVERYONE! Please support your local bar no matter what you think it is because chances are it isn't! It's a great place so PLEASE SUPPORT THEM! Stop in and tell them Amber sent you, they might. Or know who Amber is because I haven't came here enough for them to know my name but Amanda is a bar tender so just say she's the best and the reason why your stopping in. If you have a chance to try the BBQ please do. I will definitely stop in more often now that I know there's nothing to be afraid of. LOVE YOU AMANADA!!!!"

I was in Boondocks Thursday 5/18 when a young lady came in and went straight to the restroom and came out staggering when security asked her for her ID, she refused and claimed she came her multiple times. She yelled across the bar at multiple patrons calling them names. When the bartender Chanise said she wasn't going to serve she got mad and started to yell at the bartender. The fact that she said she was kicked out because she was Hispanic is hilarious cause half the crowd were Hispanic. This bar NEVER discriminates the only time they kick anyone out is when said person is and are a scene and is causing trouble. I have been in her multiple times with this girl and she and her dude have been a problem.Thank you boondocks and their security for keeping the peace and making it a place to be!!

I was looking for roadhouses that serve food. Stumbled onto the Wooden Nickel. Outdoor seating, draft beer, and crispy onion rings and fried mushrooms!! How can you go wrong? Mellow folks, Paige the barkeep took great care of us and a nice view from the patio. Great place to chill in the afternoon.

Our favorite band Optimum Groove is playing here so we decided to come. Did not disappoint us. The food is very good. The sisig and chicken wings. Well treated by their great servers specially Carolina who served us.Of course, Optimum Groove will always bring the house down by their excellent performance. I will rate our experience for the music, food, and service with 4.6

David G. "Fun place to hang out. We went for happy hour and they were setting up for an event for that evening. The menu was cool because they had American dishes as well as Filipino dishes so we got a chance to try a few different things that we'd never try before. Everything came out looking great Flavor was awesome and the food dishes were really good. We will definitely go back to try a few other dishes."
