"I finally tried this place after years of passing by it. I would say I would give it a 3.7 stars. Value for the price just wasn't there. I order the combo meal with chicken beef over a bed of rice with a little salad. It was close to $10 with no drink. Food was fresh and tasted good. I was given very little meat. Just a thin layer sprinkled on top of the rice. You get so much more meat at MOS 2 or even as WABA. Salad was just spring mix possibly out of a box. What was not okay is that I asked for teriyaki and they wanted 90 cents for a small little container?! That is like being charged for ketchup for your fries!I would not come back unless it was like 50% off."

Didn't understand the reservation for lunch time because the whole restaurant was pretty much empty when I went.Ordered Drinks, Rolls, Shrimp Fried Rice, Steak plate and Edamame.Drinks were really good! I was impressed. Rolls were delicious, Edamame had good flavor. Mishap with shrimp fried rice is they left the tails on the shrimp and the steak plate the steak was over cooked and the noodles had some kind of sauce on them that made them really sweet. I wasn't a fan.Definitely would come back here for different rolls, would definitely come back during lunch hours.Ambiance was quiet, waiter was attentive and friendly. Great spot to grab sushi."

"Had an amazing dinner here this past weekend. We were seated immediately since we arrived about 20 minutes after they opened for the evening. The staff were incredibly kind and pleasant. The drinks were great and so were the 3 rolls we got. However, I will say that it's more worth your money to spend on the specialty rolls rather than the classic rolls since. I was intimidated to try this place out because of the few negative reviews, but I'm glad I did anyway! It was amazing. This place is pricey but I think it's a great spot to enjoy drinks and a few rolls with friends."

We ended up getting one protein plate teriyaki chicken and then I got a three protein with the steak, chicken, and shrimp. Food was prepared fresh to order. The sauces were delicious especially the garlic butter over the steak. When I got home, I noticed that they had given me two proteins. So I called and let them know they're really cool about it. They fixed the order right away and got it squared away with no problem. They're very apologetic and had a great attitude about it. I can't recommend this place enough. Food was great, fresh, full of flavor. Steak was tender, chicken good and veggies were delicious. I almost forgot the garlic noodles and shrimp were BOMB.Com."

It is dimly lit inside during dinner time, but service was good and quick. We got several types of sushi dishes and drinks. As for the food, there is an AYCE menu where you can pick individual items as a plate or have rolls themselves. We ordered several individual sushi items such as the BamBam roll, Frankenstein, tempura, fried calamari, and of course a martini! The food was good and I would come again with others due to the AYCE deals."

"After finding out that a different local sushi restaurant was not open, we opted to come here because it was close by. The branding and aesthetics of the restaurant made me believe that it would be a little bit on the modern/pricey side, which was okay since we were celebrating a special occasion. As we entered, we were greeted by the friendly staff and they were very accommodating when we needed a bigger table for our increasing party size.The sushi was fresh and the rolls were very good! They gave a mountain of ginger, which was an instant A+ in my wife's book. The "regular" udon came with a fishcake and soft boiled eggs and was very good. The ramen seemed a little underseasoned until I tasted that it was the perfect compliment to the salty pork slices. I wish the portions were a little bigger, but it's not a big deal.We usually skip the desserts at restaurants and opt for other locations to satisfy our sweet tooth, but we stuck around and had a few mochi ice creams and regular and tempura ice creams. The tempura one is huge and is very good. Beware of the whipped cream though, as you need to dig through a mountain of it to find the rest of your dessert.The servers were amicable and helpful. The price was surprisingly reasonable, and the food was great! Hope to be back again soon!"

"Tried Sushi Kinoya for the first time today. I didn't actually dine in at the restaurant but ordered through a food delivery service. Currently they offer delivery through Uber Eats and Postmates, just keep in mind that all the sushi is about $1 more per roll when ordering for delivery. I understand that the delivery services take a cut of any orders so I get why they do it and don't fault them for it. I ordered five rolls. The sushi was well packaged in individual foam containers and included wasabi, ginger, soy sauce packets, and disposable wood chopsticks. Delivery was a good experience but once I opened the containers is when I was a little disappointed. The rolls itself didn't have great presentation and the actual fish used was super small and didn't even fully cover the top of the roll. For reference you can see some of the photos I took and you can decide for yourself if it is adequate. The redeeming factor for the food was that it didn't have an overwhelming amount of rice in the rolls and most of the food was decent. The only problem is that for $14-$16 a roll I was expecting more. I've had a comparable or even better sushi experiences when eating take-out sushi from a grocery store, which shouldn't be the case. The Washington roll I ordered was the biggest let down as the salmon just wasn't cut well. I did like the Hawaiian roll as the garlic ginger sauce was great and the tuna was good. All in all, I think sushi Kinoya has potential they just need to really take a look at their offerings and decide whether they should lower their prices to match current quality or rework there rolls to make it worth the premium."
