"Located in a strip mall next to the See's Candies in the same parking lot as CVS and Big Lots. There is ample parking. They have great and extended hours on the weekend. Don't be intimidated of the location in the evening. It is well lit. This is a fantastic Raspado shop. The homemade ice creams bars are endless. Incredible flavor. Yes, this type of demographic shop caters to the Latin community. However, do not allow that to scare you. You'll regret not entering. They have tostilocos, auga fresa (at minimum it's six a day. They have a list next to the register of their fresh juices.) My absolute favorite is the sandia (watermelon) and my daugther loves the cucumber lime. Also so refreshing and tasty. They have hot Cheeto bags that they drench in nacho cheese! Oh, my! Here's a secret. Corn on the cob Mexican style is the same price if you get it in the clear container. You actually get soo much more. They ladle fresh steamed corn, layered with mayo, cheese, lime juice IF you wish chile powder and again repeats this method until it's filled completely to the rim. It's huge. Seriously. My daughter and I share one and can barely finish it. I omit the chile for her not because I'm a whimp or anything. The smoothies are great, the banana splits, and soo much more. The flavors of ice cream are epic. Everything from cotton candy, strawberry fruit (with actual bits of fruit in it) to Ferrero Rocher! I mean come the freak on! There are a few tables inside to dine in if you decide to. There is a restroom for customers. This place is spotless. The owners take pride in the appearance of their business. There is a slight language barrier but it's nothing to inconvenience or upset you. The employee's there are fantastic. The two mature women are my favorite. Especially the one I joke with and call her "abuelita" meaning grandma in Spanish. She's a character and soo kind. Also keep in mind they now have a fee charge on cards. I would suggest cash if you don't want the extra fee. It's also mentioned at the registers."

I was welcomed with a warm "Hello", I was able to sample different juices and ice creams which all were refreshing. "Hubby and I randomly stopped by Delight Ice Cream and Drinks on a quiet evening and had the whole place to ourselves. If you've ever been to Somi Somi in San Diego, the concept is very similar. "This little place is located in a strip mall where there are several spaces tucked in and out . Along with a 7-11. You could actually pass it if your not looking.But that you wouldn't want to do. My granddaughter wanted a donut , chocolate raised was her choice. I had to try the glazed crueler . The raised was fluffier than any I have had. The crueler has the crispy edges but I was delighted not to have too bite into an overly dry dough. This just melted away. Truly both donuts were a great choice. Before we left we had to buy the pink cake. Only 5 stars for these tasty donuts. I believe they are made in small batches throughout the day. As these were extremely fresh and it was after 4pm. Owner was very friendly , I told him what I thought of his donuts and he said 35 yrs of perfecting his craft is what got him here. Usual coffee drinks and juices served as well"

Alonso's Ice Cream is the name of the business, but big sign is Soft Serve Ice Cream with Ramon Alonso making all these yummy delicious creation, so creamy ice cream desserts . You have to try if you have not especially when your craving sweet dessert and perfect when it get warm weather. I'm sooo satisfied with my sweet vanilla, chocolate creamy soft serve swirl ice cream on a cone. My husband loved his churros vanilla ice cream sundaes with whip cream, chocolate syrup top with nuts and my youngest son had there fried oreo sundaes with vanilla ice cream, whip cream, chocolate syrup top with nuts. He said very heavy on the fried oreo . Since needed to eat right away, so doesn't melt. Save his dinner later, since gotten full with his fried oreo ice cream sundaes. And the strawberry vanilla ice cream sundaes with whip cream, strawberry syrup top with nuts, saving for later but tastesa spoon full sooo GOOD :) Highly recommend and will be back when around area especially craving these delicious yummy soft serve ice cream created, prepared by Ramon. "I Guess Michoacán is known for ice cream, popsicles, and aguas frescas. This place has the most amazing aguas frescas! My brother in-law went with the strawberry and decided on the piña colada. These drinks are not just juice but a creamy mixture of fruit, some kind of cream and liquid. The ice cream was excellent with a huge variety of flavors from Oreo to fruits. I didn't get to try the paletas this time around or the savory snacks but next time around for sure. Inside the place is medium sized and there are about 7-10 long tables. Staff is nice and pleasant and appreciate it if you attempt to speak bad Spanish. Parking is shared with other shops, but that shouldn't be a problem. Come check this place out. You won't be disappointed."

Their ice cream tastes like real ingredients and their flavors are numerous. They even have flavors that are Hawaiian inspired, as the employee told me that was their specialty. I went with my standard go-to flavor, strawberry and one of their most popular seasonal ones, banana caramel with chocolate chips. It was so delicious! I hardly can ever eat a double scoop on my own but this combo was soooo good I could have finished a quadruple scoop. If you also go to the Round Table next door, I was told you get 15% of their ice cream. If you're not in the mood for ice cream, they also have a good selection of shakes and coffee drinks. "Came to La Michoacana for Elote because the original place we wanted to go to was closed. This location is huge! Seems pretty clean and sanitary during this time. They had tv screens with the menu and their products. We were looking for what we wanted but the menu keep changing and blinking literally every 30 seconds. We spend like almost five minutes trying to figure out what specific kind of Elote we we wanted since the screen kept flashing and changing. It was pretty annoying. The menu was in Spanish too which is completely fine but for non-Spanish reading/speaking people, it was hard to stare at a blinking screen and figure out what was what. We ended up just telling her Elote with everything. She made ours without wearing gloves which kind of concerned me but I tried to put that thought aside. For two small elotes in a cup, it was around $7. Super affordable and looked tasty. Upon trying it, it did satisfy some of the craving I had but not for long. There was too much liquid in our bowl and no lime juice. It didn't taste like how other elotes I've had. My friend and I got tired of the taste really quickly and tried to finish most of it since we already paid for it. Overall, it was just alright. I highly suggest them fixing their menu screens so it wouldn't change so often so customers can easily order and see what they have to offer. Would come for Elote again but maybe for their other stuff."
