"Great marinated carne asada!!! Get your beans and rice tortillas!!! You'll be set to go!!! OG Mexican Carniceria!!!!"
"Cool market and nice people here! I was only going to get a lotto ticket here but saw that they had a hot food station so i decided on a asada burrito to take home. I think around $8 dollars or so but it was really really good with the red sauce. The hot station for sure the star of the show here. They have your average items just like any other store. Have a decent meat dept and a full ice cream station. A good place to shop when you're in need of quick items."
"A little gem in inland empire. This store has been through different management over the years but the new owners have gone on to change the overall look and feel of the store. Extremely clean, spacious, well lit now. They offer a variety of desi spices, halal meat and fish. They even do catering. I ordered khichuri, beef curry, goat curry and shammi kebab for a small get together at home. Everyone complimented the food. It was finger licking good! All the items were excellent but the khichuri and the goat curry were the stars of the show! Highly recommend doing your desi groceries and catering here!"
"I went here once to check it out when I first moved into the area. I was looking for for some wine, but we just kept trying to push some Indian beer at me, but I just wasn't interested in trying something new at the moment. I ended up leaving with a desert wine, which was fairly priced from what I remember. Still, I have to agree with another Yelper here that said the guy kept trying to push lotto tickets and other stuff at me in which I wasn't interested. It seemed as if he was trying to upsell me or he was desperate. Either way, I haven't been back since, the owner just weirded me out. Which is a shame, because the other liquor stores in the area (the swill at the nearby gas stations notwithstanding) or miles farther down the road. He also preferred not to take my debit card because of surcharges, which was understandable but severely limited my purchasing options."
"I heard the Menudo served here on the weekends was very good. So today I got to try it and it was very good. They now have a new customer."
"Day Street Market carries a wide selection of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern products including spices, meats, sweets, and other products. It is located on Day Street and Ironwood near Curry and Kabob and the France House of Crepes.Although I've only been here a couple times, I was able to find some ingredients I needed such as labneh and spices. I also came to purchase a tray of their baklava for a party. It was a hit!The service was quick at check out, which I appreciated."
"Here we go this place just opened about 2 months ago! price tags are not on shelves some products are miss placed in wrong areas! The help is nice! The store is like cash and carry style! What I was looking for they didn't have! 25 oz can of Hominy Teasdale brand."
"Nice small Mexican market with lots of typical last minute grocery items. Small selection of fruit and vegetables. Several meat selections such as carnitas to chicken fajitas. They have lettuce and green onions in the back. You have to ask for them. Prices are reasonable. Staff is nice."
"I don't know what the 1 stars are for but it's bull. They're awesome. The guys at the counter are always polite and nice with me."
"The sandwich's here are amazing and huge! The workers had a good attitude . They also accept EBT which is a nice touch for people from all different walks of life . The store had many convenient items and was well kept and clean . It's basically like a bodega for the area. Well done, I would return!"
"Grand Opening! It's beautiful to shop in a new market with everything looking great! This place is packed and a lot of carts everywhere full of goodies! If your in the area or live nearby stop in and get something! I am so happy with this location as it is so close to us! So nice to have employees everywhere to help in any way! Friendly happy faces it make your shopping even better!"
"The service was great! Janet was so helpful and went above and beyond to provide a specific cake for me! It was red velvet if you're wondering. At first she asked if we needed any help and we kindly said no thanks but she then realized that we were looking for a specific kind of cake and mentioned that they had red velvet in the back. Unfortunately they did sell it prior but she recommended other small cakes and eventually found the cake we wanted and to our surprise it was the last one! We thank her so much for going above and beyond! She even got to write lettering on it! Such a great experience at this location hope to come again soon!"

The market itself here is alright, the thing that is really great is their kitchen/kitchen staff, been getting the food from here for many years great prices for tacos and carne asada fries, everything always hits, they have great guacamole, good atmosphere when you walk in.

I had the pleasure of meeting Vincent he was a total gentleman and runs a fine establishment. If you're on the 91 I strongly recommend doing business with this gentleman. He even threw in a free shot glass with my purchase

Have been going to this market for almost two years. The asada and the birria tacos are delicious. I've also ordered the family packets for work events and they come with the meat, rice, beans, salsa and tortillas. Everyone loves the meat as it's seasoned well and it's delicious. I've also tried their menudo and it's also good especially when trying to cure a hangover.

Originally came here to look for ingredients to make a homemade cava bowl and stumbled upon good customer service and other great authentic items and ingredients. So many options from spices, sauces, different desserts and candy to try which would be great for potlucks. They also had the crazed Dubai chocolate a Lil pricey for a small chocolate bar but it was very good and lived up to the hype.

They have very great meat. They do have great prices as well. It is like a small Cardenas. They are very clean and friendly. They also sell calling cards and fax. I went in there to fax one paper and it was only $1. :)

"I read the previous reviews and they seemed a bit bias against this business based upon my experience in August of 2016. The gas pumps worked fine. I got a car wash without any problem. The car wash was a high quality automated touch less car wash. It was a bit pricey for the "works was" at $10 but aren't they all a bit pricey? The clerks inside the store were professional and polite. Because they have a Krispy Krunchy chicken (think Popeye's chicken) franchise inside the food mart, the place does smell like fried chicken but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, who doesn't like fried chicken? So, as far as a gas station, car wash "stuffer shack" style convenience store, I couldn't find anything wrong with the place that was so prevalent in past reviews of this business."
"My favorite place to get tacos here in Riverside. It's super lowkey because the tacos are made in the back of the market. I always come here to get their $1 tacos. You order at the register in the front and take the ticket to the back where they will make your tacos right before your eyes! I love the asada and the carnitas. Their meat is always nice and tender. The tacos are a bit small but they always stack the meat on top. They have an area in the back with lots of tables. The service is also fast but they seem a bit unwelcoming towards me and my boyfriend."
"I went here to get some meat for pot roast it was very fresh and worth the price. The service was great the guy who helped me at the butchery super helpful and got the meat very fast. The ambience is a bit harder for me because I had to squeeze through cause there was a lot of people but other than that it was nice."
"Got treated by my friend to a lunch buffet here.First time to try this Indian cuisine here. I love how each dish were flavorful and rich in spices but not too spicy like I have imagined.Buffet included basmati riceVeggie Hakka noodlesVeggie KormaYellow DaalChicken curry Chicken Tandoori Chicken tikka MasalaGreen salad Tamarind Chutney Yogurt Self serve Tea cartGarlic naan bread served at the tableWe ordered the Mango Lassi drinks.Lunch buffet $15.99 / person Since my friend paid for lunch I don't have an Idea how much the mango lassi drink costs. After lunch we went next door and checked out the grocery. All kinds of spices, teas , lentils, jarred chutney and variety of products and ingredients to use for making Indian Cuisine. They have hand made crafts like beaded bracelets thread for sale too. They have Indian Sweets ready for you to indulge with pleasure."
"Use their app and clip their coupons. I like that their app also can scan barcodes and tell you the prices (in case something is on sale or clearance). Self -checkout available. They do have a restroom but needs a code. One time they were a little rude and my Dad struggled to get the code from them for the bathroom. But otherwise, they have some deals sometimes. Produce usually pretty fresh and expiration dates are further out than groceries from a couple other nearby supermarkets."
"This place has great fruits and vegetables. I go there mainly for their Chicharron. Sometimes I feel lucky enough to leave alive with my piel de cerdo auténtica being a gringo that I am. I will be back and I do recommend this place."
"This is a conveniently place liquor store that sits between UCR and my residence. I go there on my way to campus to grab a snack or drink. I'm greeted well there, and I even converse a little with the friendly employees. I used to pay card but now I make sure to use cash because the have a $1.00 fee for using card so be wary. Also I remember one time my friend wanted to purchase alcohol about a week after turning 21 but the clerk told us we had to wait a month. There was probably a misunderstanding at some point because we even showed him evidence of my friend's age with his ID card but the language barrier must've been to thick. Regardless they can refuse service to whoever they want so we decided to not press further. Regardless, this place has what you want for a good price."
"Love this place! Perfect for a couple quick tacos. Food is fresh and reasonably priced. The market has been gone a few years, but they kept the coolers and stocked with all the popular drinks and beer."
"This used to be 7-11, later it became kwikmart and now a few more years down the road it's Riverside Market. Inside has the same layout as it was before with various snacks, wider selection of craft beers, wine, man meals in the refrigerator section along with eggs and lunch meats and coming soon are prepared hot foods. Soda fountains and slushy machines, hot coffee and microwave. Propane tank exchange or purchase also available. Service was friendly, welcoming and informative. I appreciate all of the effort they've made to make this space look presentable. Sidewalk parking available or back parking lot with a few spaces. Easy to get in and out for those snack attack cravings."
"Great location. The other El Toro Makets are scary and run down. This one is the best in the area. Way better than the Main st. or S. State St. location.Great prices are meat and produce!!!Free money orders."
"I moved to this city into thousand seven and fell in love with this little market just down the street from my house I always have a need at great prices everyone is always super attentive and really nice they also sell lottery tickets just recently extended market and now are selling warm food I notice a lot of people have been coming in and find me in large quantities they sell Good product good to know"
"I used to exchange propane tanks but most localVendors are out. I visited Jurupa Dairy and Gas and refilled my tank instead of replacing. Easier, cheaper, and available! The staff were friendly. This is the way to go!"
"What a beautiful store, very clean and excelent costumer service. They have all I need. Definitely coming back soon."
"Burritos are amazing and only $6. They are stuffed with whatever meat you want, or they'll even do half and half of the meat you want, plus rice, beans, onion, cilantro and chile. Had it twice and been delicious both times. I love that you can find Mexican products here, as well."
"Drove by & saw this place. Their "specials" are very reasonable, I don't know about the rest of the menu. Fast service, attentive and polite. $3.99 for a carne asada torta!? Can't beat that. And it was really good too. If I'm on this area again, I'll come back here. My thing is Salsas... i asked for a green and red salsa separately... they didn't give me any trouble. Maybe it's new management!? "
"Always keeping it high and tight at Stop N Shop. Went here to say good morning to Julie and found out that they did all the crown molding themselves. Pretty great to have this place and Falcon Car Wash right around the corner. When you go, make sure to follow proto or at least keep featherin it brother. Lots of cool guys hanging around as well as queens above 18. Ta ta there tik toks!"
"Always wonderful service here! Bakery items available for those special occasions or just a Tuesday at 2:00. The prepared foods and made to order items are convenient for picking up a quick dinner. Cuban sandwich's, empanadas, fried fish, ribs and more with sides to accompany. Tamales! ready to eat or a bag of prepared masa for making your own. Champurrado! Tonight they had it usually it's only on the weekends if it's not sold out. The staff in this kitchen put that extra love and care in the preparation of your order. Welcoming and warm you'll enjoy a comforting meal."
"This place is the absolute bomb!!!! The service is all star! The people are salt of the earth! The food is delicious!I absolutely love this place!!! It's an amazing grocery store with amazing cooked food!!!"
"Wow, what a hidden gem! I only accidentally stumbled across this place very randomly while being very hungry, so I decided to quickly enter to see if they had any food. And they did! They basically had a hot food section, and this review is largely about the hot foods section of the store. The rest of the store is your pretty typical local small grocery store.Anyways, pretty much every burrito is $6, tax included (though please note it's cash only!) They didn't have lengua, my go-to, so I got a buche burrito instead. The burrito was pretty big! Especially for its size! It was my only meal for the day and it made me pretty full. So you definitely get your money's worth. The burrito had a decent kick to it from the salsa, which they directly put into the burrito. Extremely convenient by the way. I suppose if you want less or more, you can always ask them to put more/less. The tortilla was solid, wasn't too much, but it was enough to roll pretty up pretty much everything. Beans and rice were solid and they notably didn't put /too/ much in - the meat was pretty generously added in. I definitely had a lot of meat bites, actually. Very impressive! Also, if you want a bonanza of food to fist your stomach, they also have special deals that give out a truly ludicrous amount of food for a very low price. I almost considered getting one and grazing off of it for a week, but I decided not to because of my poor self-control.Anyways, I don't have that much else to say. Very good, very cheap burritos! Unbeatable on price, especially during this age of inflation!"
"I hate the location of this store, but it isn't their fault. I love the candy section in this store. I come frequently just to buy candy and every now and then I order some street tacos. They are good. However, I feel they are overpriced. The produce section is also overpriced. The fun part of this store is trying to figure out where the open cashier will be that day. They are all over the place. I think they are all very kind, but the guessing game in there makes me feel uncomfortable"
"I love sniffing out Mexican food in these little markets. La Famosa # 6, Was a great find. This Mexican market, and Taqueria also has a pizza oven. I have never tried the Pizza, because their Mexican food is so good. Excellent Carnitas, and a Carne asada that looks like ground beef, but tastes like steak. Homemade salsa, Menudo, Chicharones, humongous Burritos, and a huge meat selection. The small tacos are packed with meat, and are less than $2 a piece. Super friendly and cool Mexican- American kids here, go out of their way to make it, the way you like it. Ask them to grill your meat if you like it crispy. Especially the Carnitas."
"Best tacos ever great grocery selection best prices on me and seafood this is the greatest market in the inland empire hands-down I love it all my family goes there I will never stop going there"
"Organic Smoothies + Juice bar, plus Espresso Coffee too!Gluten-free: Sandwiches + Gluten free Pizza Organic grocery Excellent choices across the store... VAST Selection with Very Friendly staff!"
