"I was visiting a friend in Eastvale and we stopped for some mochi donuts. Mochi donuts are less sweet and slightly chewy (like mochi!) rather than cake-like. I've had mochi donuts at other places and admit I prefer "regular" donuts but these mochi donuts are definitely the best I've had. What makes them better at Dot & Dough is they are not at all oily like I've experienced at other places plus the flavors are more pronounced. We ordered 4 and shared so we could both sample the flavors we chose.The Homer chocolate (chocolate glaze with colored sprinkles) was good but probably my least favorite of the four. The double chocolate (chocolate glaze with tiny chocolate chips) was my favorite because, well, chocolate chips! The strawberry pocky (strawberry glaze on 3/4 and 1/4 with pocky stick dust) was excellent and really did taste like a strawberry pocky. The cookies & cream had a delicious cream glaze with Oreo crumble on top and came in a close second in overall enjoyability.The fellow working here was very nice and quickly got our order together from the mysterious back room. Prices were in line with what I expected - these aren't truck stop donuts. But even if you prefer those I think you'll enjoy what you find at Dot & Dough (they also have malasadas)."

The had put the maple topping on and told me be careful it's still wet. The chocolate was perfect! The bites had a crisp to it, and it was warm. It's clean. They're fast. And, everything is fresh starting at 4:30 am. Yep, that's when they open. My coffee/donut server Katelin is the most friendly and patient person I know. She's first class. As you come in they have a wide variety of donuts but you have to get there at least early enough before all the good ones are gone I came in and they had a pretty good batch left they also have croissants coffee is an iced coffee's and other drinks available. I picked myself up a dozen donuts mostly a variety of plain, sprinkle, and glaze.I also grabbed coffee on the way out aside from that they have good donuts and a variety of other items on the menu they have been here I would say over 20 years it's not so much that they have anything out of the ordinary but they've been here that long in that house to say something about a business so when it comes to being in my hometown they are definitely the donut shop that I go to the most."

"Donut Palace is really hard to get to when you drive on a California highway that is congested and scary crowded. Fast cars that will come and getcha. At what cost? The freshest, doughiest doughnuts that Donut Palace has got to offer you. I visited Donut Palace when my cousin was turning 17 and she was learning how to drive. I did not trust her driving at the time, and ended up taking over the wheel. The driving was stressful, but we made it. The shop was located by the highway, and we ended up getting a dozen doughnuts in a nice shiny box. My family totally gave me crap for buying two-three boxes of these randomly picked out doughnuts. Nobody was laughing when they took a bite of the freshly baked dough. It was DELICIOUS. I don't know what it is about California, but they have the best food ever. I was still craving these sweets even two years later. Aside from the hectic commute, these doughnuts are totally worth the drive. It's not crowded, and they have a colorful selection of doughnuts. I suggest getting a 12 dozen. They are THAT good."
