"I go to this bar quite often. I will admit, I had already judged this place before I ever stepped foot in it. I was completely wrong. I thought it was going to be a racist dive bar. Luckily one of my friends dragged me through there and changed my mind. I couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone there is kind and talkative. They don't care if you're a complete stranger. They treat you like they've known you for years. On top of that, the service is great. The beer is cold and a good price. All the bartenders are great, especially Marylin. If I had to pick one thing I would change. It would be the jukebox. It gets really quite when no one wants to pay for music. But other than that. It's a great place."

So you can consider this review an update and a compromise.One review complained that it took half an hour to get a salad. Yes, it took about half an hour to get a salad.One review complained that the bathroom was dirty. If you look at my pics, you'll see for yourself that it isn't dirty. But it is OLD and needs some renovation. (A doorknob would be nice!)We stopped by at 4:45 for the Friday prime rib special (no longer $15.95, now $18.95). The specials are served after 5:30, so we left and came back.The service is slow. One waitress for six tables should be faster. My wife gives the prime rib a 5/10; I give it a 6/10. It was well-cooked but barely seasoned. We asked for water, but it never came.To her credit, when we asked for the bill, our waitress looked horrified and said, "I forgot your waters!" After a pause, she asked, "Do you still want them?"I think it's a better watering hole than a restaurant. The drinks were reasonably priced. I didn't notice if the bartender was being rude. It looked pretty calm at the bar."

"This place has cool beers, cool pool tables, and a cool manager. Cool bands come through to jam here all the time. The weather stays cool in this bar, and the vibe is a purely chill vibe for only the coolest fools and ladies, please.Oh what nights can be had at The Mission. The OC Hurricanes might be jamming their best, or a fatty taco vendor like Carnitas El Porky might be set up to slang spicy pork tacos or quesatacos for the night. Vanessa, the mgr., could be out checking on the venue, waving to some regulars, or making connections with local businesses. People could be dancing inside the bar all 'round the pool tables, or people could be dancing outdoors to the rare cumbias of Ritmo Santanero (a DJ group run by Rigo and Gary V.) The bar staff is professional, courteous, and friendly. They know how to mix, how to recommend, and how to pour. They manage the liquor service with tact; I always see many lightly buzzed, happy faces at the bar. A well run team. Credit to Vanessa and the bar staff. "Found this western theme bar and was expecting your typical dive bar. The service was great the bartenders were attentive and outgoing personality. Trista and Michelle both helped my friends and I. I got a peach margarita that was delicious especially silly coming from a dive bar.The area is pretty clean for a local bar. I was not expecting the outdoor area to have a live stage and chill vibe to just hang out and drink. Restrooms were surprisingly clean and maintained.If I'm ever in the area I would check the place out again."

"This is a spectacular bar that my wife and I first visited on 3/17/19. We were passing through the area again on 3//21/19 and couldn't resist stopping by so we headed over. We were shocked and saddened to find that Party Doll was closed & had been red tagged on 3/20/19 after a drunk driver (from elsewhere) drove through one of their walls, causing significant damage. Incredibly no one was injured. Our hearts go out to the owner, the bartenders and the awesome regulars of this unique spot. We sincerely hope that Party Doll will recover soon. We would be happy to contribute to a Go Fund Me if there is one.3/31/19 update: The Party Doll has reopened! Go support this awesome little gem of a bar. :-)"

"From the outside it's in a dingy part of town but I haven't had any issues there. It's a great community based bar kind of has an in real life cheers vibe because there are people that go there all the time building friendships etc. if you like to do karaoke, Wednesdays are karaoke night. If you like to play pool Thursdays are pool nights. Pricing is fair and even if you don't go on Thursday there are a lot of people that like playing pool there they even have a white board where people put there names to play pool next great system. Drinks are good could not get a pina colada there but did get a tequila sunset. Prices are good."

"Morgan's Tavern is a pirate-themed dive bar. The bar is very small, with the bar itself taking up the majority of the space. Most of the seating (90%) is at the bar. There is one pool table that usually becomes a storage area for bands. And yes, despite the size, it is also a music venue. The seating area is basically turned into a stage and pit area. It is so small that when bands play you are shoulder to shoulder with people. The service is usually very slow. There is usually one to two bartenders and they are constantly leaving the bar area to either smoke or talk with friends. Parking: One of the benefits of this location is there is plenty of parking. No sweat. For Bands: Storage area is very limited. Keep the gear in your care until you are ready to play. There really isn't an actual stage. You will have to set up on the floor next to the pool table. Check with your promoter about details because they do not have their own P.A. It is usually provided by one of the bands or whoever set up the show. Despite the negatives, anytime I have been to Morgan's, it has always been a good time."

"Fun place!! If you want to meet some genuine local people from this town, Bear Claw Saloon (fondly known as "the Claw" by some of my friends here) is the place to be! It's a place that reminds me of Cheers - for those who are old enough to remember that show.... "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name...". I love the small town bar vibe here. And the bartender was super attentive and friendly. Sorry no picture (yet)... was too busy having fun getting to know the folks here. The menu was cool because they had American dishes as well as Filipino dishes so we got a chance to try a few different things that we'd never try before. "Juke Joint Bar is sure to hit the spot. I had an amazing time here. Drinks were on point. They had a wonderful selection of beer. Bartenders were pretty attentive and they sure don't skimp on the booze. What stood out the most to me were the arcade games and billiards in the back of the bar. I think the pool games were a $1 each which is pretty cheap by today's standards. We probably spent a couple hours playing. There might be a line though. The dive bar vibe is definitely there though. A little gritty, a little quirky, but it adds to the charm. Definitely on the recommend list to hang out with friends."

"Finally got to try this place out. I stopped by on a Wednesday evening after my gym workout, before 7pm. The lot was already pretty packed but I was able to find a spot eventually. Inside was packed as well but we found two seats at the bar. Service was great, drinks were strong, and the food was scrumptious. I really liked the chilli on my chilli cheese fries. I don't care if it came from a can, it was delicious. They also give you a little cup of diced onions to pour over the chilli. It's a nice divey bar/restaurant where you can get good food at great prices. Definitely coming back."

I found RB's on Yelp and it looked good so we decided to give it a try.It's a bit tucked away from the road so we actually drove past it at first and had to turn around.The inside felt like a nice place to hang out with nice rustic touches. The bar is downstairs and the dining room upstairs.We were seated quickly and our orders were taken in a timely fashion. I think almost all of us ordered the New Yorker steak. Mine was cooked just right (medium but more on the rare side) but one of the others was a little too rare for his liking. The kitchen was able to fix it and we were all happily eating our delicious steaks.Overall, we were pleased. The next time we are up there and need a dinner spot, we'll be back!"

"What a genuine hidden treasure. Was driving along looking for a new place to play pool and stumbled upon the skydive. Seeing it as our diner drive ins and dives weekend we saw the sign with "pool" and did a quick U. Walked in and to our surprise we spent a good amount of time enjoying this lounge. Service was great, hospitable and helpful. We played a few rounds of pool always fun. The tables are in good condition and great music to enhance your game. Played some darts after and just really had a great time here. Cash is preferred but they do have card payment available as well but with a charge. Bring some quarters if you wanna play a few rounds but if you don't not to worry. The host is awesome and has plenty. Large welcoming outdoor patio seating. Give it a walk through and you may be surprised. Will be back for sure."

"I used to live out here and did stop in once in a while. This place is a great local pit stop for sure. I do stop in when I am in town. The bartender is always friendly and loves to talk to you. There was only one person in when we went on. She was really a treat. Old lady that was getting hammered to live life it seemed, maybe I'm wrong but it sure seemed like it. This place has been here a long time. I did ask the bartender about the changes. It was here when I was a kid. A long time ago... LOL They did have a good selection of beers both domestic & import in bottles. We tried the Mexican beers. Not sure about the hard drinks. I did not see any. But I did not ask either. All in all, this is a good little dive joint that takes great care of you when you stop in!! I would recommend this place to everyone that likes great service and a cold one along the way...."
