"My first time getting out in a long while and it was great to meet a couple of friends here at this place it's a hidden gem for me. Never been here before, never heard about it, but the food was a delight, the atmosphere was very welcoming. The service was a bit timely but we had time to kill before parting ways, it gave us more time to enjoy a lengthy conversation and check out the scenery from wall to wall aesthetically pleasing. The socal BLT with avocado I ordered was satisfying, along with the peppermint mocha blended, the Philly cheese steak and Our other friends had ordered what looked like toast with avocado... We will most definitely be coming back to try out more things on the menu. I will recommend this place to friends, family and acquaintances ."

"The service was great! Janet was so helpful and went above and beyond to provide a specific cake for me! It was red velvet if you're wondering. At first she asked if we needed any help and we kindly said no thanks but she then realized that we were looking for a specific kind of cake and mentioned that they had red velvet in the back. Unfortunately they did sell it prior but she recommended other small cakes and eventually found the cake we wanted and to our surprise it was the last one! We thank her so much for going above and beyond! She even got to write lettering on it! Such a great experience at this location hope to come again soon!"

"Stepped away from my desk momentarily today to have lunch with a couple of friends and former colleagues! Didn't even know this place was here, much less that it's in the building of a seminary of the same name! Very cute little cafe. Tons of parking available, at least while we were there. There's ample seating inside but there's also nice tables and chairs outside with the picturesque pond that has geese and ducks. We opted for the outdoor seating.We had to wait a bit to be helped as the ladies behind the counter were super busy getting orders out. The cashier was friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mixup with the Yelp offer on check-in, but we got it sorted out rather quickly. We each ordered separately, but we ended up ordering the same thing. Apparently they're known for their chicken pesto panini, so we all opted to try it. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the pesto was amazing and the roasted red peppers and onions complemented the sandwich perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to the geese and ducks, there's apparently a resident egret that happened to visit our table. He seemed pretty used to people and appeared to want to join us. I'd never been that close to one before. It was cool but he was also kind of freaking me out lol! Will definitely have to come back here and try more of their menu now that I know they are here! They have breakfast items as well."

"The Best deli sandwiches in Claremont? Maybe so if they've been around for a hot minute and when I say hot minute I mean four generations and that's definitely is a long time. We ordered two of the non recommended sandwiches and that was our fault. First up was their Beefeater that came with grilled roast beef on sourdough with melted cheddar and grilled Ortega chilies.Now everything was ok but those chilies didn't have the kick it should've. Next was the Border grill that came with chicken breast with onions bell peppers, avocado and melted jack cheese. The sandwich was decent and the recommend one's should've been ordered but you live and learn sometimes. But that's for next time. The service was good and this experience is a three and a half star. And that's my take, Peace out..."

But the sad news is, we've never once stopped at this deli, even though their name declares they are FAMOUS. Call me skeptical. So this was the week when all that changed. Their deli sandwiches are a step up from the average deli, both in price, quantity, and quality. Even for a mid-week day, they had a healthy crowd of loyal customers lined up, waiting for their orders. Quite impressive. They also have comfortable spaces for dining, both inside and out.In order to join their long-standing, Not-So-Secret Adoration Society, we picked the Norco Famous Hero and The Club. They were both great choices.The Hero has 3 kinds of meat and Provalone and is loaded with crisp lettuce and tomato. Mayo and an oil dressing make it super moist and deliciously drippy. The freshly baked roll was the final touch, one of the best that Mr. B has tasted in a long time. This sandwich won his heart, and he is hard-core picky.My Club was equally huge and juicy, stuffed with a great tasting bacon and moist turkey, enveloped with sweet squaw bread, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Each sandwich comes with a pepperoncini, a feisty pickled Italian pepper. A nibble of this paired with a bite of my yummy sandwich made my taste buds ecstatic. Furthermore, I was thrilled that half of my sandwich could so easily fill me up. And you know what that means... another day of ecstacy! I can easily see this deli becoming a favorite when we are in the mood for a fabulous deli sandwich. Too bad it took me so long. Don't make the same mistake!"

Inside has the same layout as it was before with various snacks, wider selection of craft beers, wine, man meals in the refrigerator section along with eggs and lunch meats and coming soon are prepared hot foods. Soda fountains and slushy machines, hot coffee and microwave. Propane tank exchange or purchase also available. Service was friendly, welcoming and informative. I appreciate all of the effort they've made to make this space look presentable. Sidewalk parking available or back parking lot with a few spaces. Easy to get in and out for those snack attack cravings."

"A long-time Redlands institution, Saverino's, does a steady, brisk business for pretty much the entire day. Inside, it's small and loud, between jazz playing through the speakers, orders being called out, and patrons dining or waiting. A fun vibe. Meeting my father for lunch was the occasion. I found the website to be a challenge for those who need reading glasses (mine were at home), but I think I had my plan down before going in. Basically, it's a classic grilled Reuben with an Italianeske name, and it wAs delicious! Perfectly grilled, everything was hot inside (corned beef,Swiss cheese, sauer kraut, and thousand island dressing. Dad got the Lonny, which is pastrami in a bun. He never liked pickels, but I totally would have devoured it. His looked great, and he said he enjoyed it. Both came with an included small bag of Frito-Lays potato chips. I got a side of potato salad but immediately disliked it. They used sour buttermilk, not a fan, unfortunately-so it's not a 'classic' take. Oh well, now I know."

"We Weere down in SoCal for a couple of days and were going to meet a friend for a drink. She recommended Roscoe's so, there we went. Its a pretty big place with lost of tables and a bar with the same. We like the tall bar tables and were lucky enough to get the last one available. It was about 8P and the police was hopping. It was pretty darn crowded and the place was full of energy! They have a wide variety of food - it's a deli - so it's also sold over the counter. We had already had dinner earlier - but wanted to get a drink. We were fortunate to get a server named Matthew. It makes it easy to remember because that's my name. My friend ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a Red Tractor Cadillac Margarita. The Wife had the Chile Mango Margarita and I had the Brewery X Dictionary Hazy IPA. The Red Tractor Margarita was very attractive, excellent flavor, and a good sized portion as well. The Chile Mango Margarita was extra attractive and colorful. It was too sweet for my tastes, but the wife thought it was very good. I really enjoyed The Dictionary Hazy IPA. I'm a big fan of the Hazy's and this one did not disappoint. The Clam chowder was a good sized bowl and VERY Tasty. It spiked MY hunger so I decided to get a plate of good old fashioned French Fries. WOW. A very large plate of HOT big steak type fries - which I enjoyed immensley. The service provided by Matthew was excellent. He stopped by to check on us often but not too much.So the service was very good. The atmosphere is electric. It's a little difficult to have conversation, the noise level is pretty high. It's very clean. there are a lot of staff members busily bussing tables, and keeping the place looking good. The restrooms were very clean - that's always a good sign. We'll definitely be back."

"Fire time husband and I stopped in here. We've heard good things about their subs and decided to give them a try. Both of us ordered the regular 8" size and literally got 3 tomatoes and 3 cucumbers on our sandwiches. Also, extremely little avocado spreading even any at all, we can't tell and can't even see/taste it. We are both super disappointed. Won't be back.The amount of turkey on mine was good but the veggies...the cheapest part was sad. My husband ordered a veggie and it was so skimpy.Edited to add that none of the workers were wearing masks. Hard to believe that they were all vaccinated. I understand it's a personal choice but the masks aren't, especially when you're serving food."

"First time visiting this establishment. The place was clean and welcoming and brightly lit. They even had some tables set up for outdoor dining. It was around 10 am on a Saturday morning so it was not crowded. The cashier was very friendly and gave us plenty of suggestions, especially with add-ons. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and opted to have it on toasted Garlic Rosemary Sourdough bread, instead of the flatbread, and added feta cheese. My girlfriend ordered the Pastrami and Havarti and opted to have it on an Italian Roll instead of the Marble Rye. It took a little time for the staff to prepare these delicious sandwiches for us, but when they arrived, they were at the correct temperatures to be devoured! The Shawarma was flavorful, plentiful, and topped with the tahini sauce, pickles, tomatoes and the nice addition of feta. The toasted bread held it all together and I was able to eat it before it became soggy from the messy, tasty tahini drippings!My girlfriend said her pastrami was tender and tasty and the roll was nice and soft, though she thought it was a little pricey. Overall, it was an enjoyable and very filling meal and we will try to return to try some of the many other sandwich choices!"

Reminded me of a club sandwich that jumped to hit the question mark box and got a mushroom to grow larger. It's definitely satisfying for a man meal.
