"It's basically a drive through grocery store, well more of drive through convenience store. Alta Dena Dairy is a bit of a nostalgic place for me because it brings back so many memories of being a kid. When we were growing up, my parents would always go to these drive through type grocery places to grab whatever we were out of. My brother and would sit in the back of the car and peek out the window at the goodies lol They have dairy based stuff and snacks like chips and cookies. Junk food lol And then they have the essentials; things that you need like bread and milk. It's a quick way to grab what you need and drive away. Beats standing in lines at the grocery store lol"

"I went here once to check it out when I first moved into the area. I was looking for for some wine, but we just kept trying to push some Indian beer at me, but I just wasn't interested in trying something new at the moment. I ended up leaving with a desert wine, which was fairly priced from what I remember. Still, I have to agree with another Yelper here that said the guy kept trying to push lotto tickets and other stuff at me in which I wasn't interested. It seemed as if he was trying to upsell me or he was desperate. Either way, I haven't been back since, the owner just weirded me out. Which is a shame, because the other liquor stores in the area (the swill at the nearby gas stations notwithstanding) or miles farther down the road. He also preferred not to take my debit card because of surcharges, which was understandable but severely limited my purchasing options."

"I feel sad, I grew up coming to this liquor store, always the same guys working there. But I just went in to get some cash back like I normally do because they have a sign that says ATM, but they acted as if they had never given cash back before. When I even showed him how the lady and younger guy does it, and they acted as if it never happened. I'm just going to have to drive a little further to a friendlier liquor store because I don't know what crawled up this guy and made him a sourpuss."

"I've eaten from all 3 of the areas here - the Sushi with Gusto, fast food, and Savor. The sushi was actually pretty impressive considering it's in Riverside. The make it right there and the fish is fresh. I think it's the best option of the 3. The fast food is alright, I had a chicken burger and it was fine (but you're better off going to Habit for a burger on campus). At Savor the salads were pretty good but skip the hot stuff - the meat and veg are not great."

"Tried going here to get Diesel Fuel as Gas Buddy said it had one of the best prices in the area. It's a small place with only a few pumps, not really a problem. Waited and waited, noticed there was nobody in the vehicle blocking one whole fueling side while another vehicle kept playing musical chairs figuring out which occupants was going to pay and start the adjacent pump.While I understand, this is not the station operators fault, but geez, saving a few cents a gallon isn't worth the inconsiderate morons who frequent this place.Before giving up, I tried to back in and fuel across my trunk and found the hose was too short for even my compact sedan. As I'm about to leave, Mr. MIA who was blocking one whole fueling side finally shows up and mutters, "Oh...Diesel...? To which I mutter angrily back, "Yea..." Perhaps if you were going to utilize only the convenience portion of this establishment, you could have parked away from the small fueling island."

"I actually like this 99 variety store, I guess mainly because its near where I live (thats a huge plus! otherwise drive to Yucaipa Blvd to the other 99c only or Dollar store.They have a variety, you never know what your going to find in there, they also have some shoes, t-shirts, knitted hats, socks, etc...They have a lot those hard to find household items, hardware, babystuff, school supplies, make-up, Party Supplies & food - I guess the only thing I'd like to see more of, would be more refrigerated food (sandwich meats, chorizo, etc)...but they're building a supermarket next door, so that might not be an issue much longer. I like coming here, simply because its so convenient, the only thing (& only reason I don't go there that often) is that there are some "characters" to put it politely that come by frequently....but I try not to let that stop me from patronizing it, its a good little "convenient store - might add the only one nearby, stuffs cheap & the family that owns it are really polite & go out of their way to help you each time :)"

"Came here today to get gas. They are charging almost .20 for using your card and then they are charging .50 for a debit transaction fee. That is double taxation in my opinion. So bring cash is the lesson here. Maybe the Exxon gas station across the street is cheaper without all of the hidden fees. The cashier is nice, the store is clean, the pumps are well kept so far."

"Outside the flying j, being on road I have my fair share of flying j and the rest of them. This flying j seems a little small. For auto they don't have that many pumps and it's one way in and one way out. I've seen biggies ones for sure.While coming back to Cali google did not pick up this flying j location, if we would have never looked up we would have passed this one and went to the one that's a couple miles away. Do better google geeze. Glade we found it because I we needed DEF but we will not get gas from this place diesel prices here is way too high especially in Cali."
