I've used Buttercup catering for several events in the past few years: a buffet 40-person baby shower, a sit-down 30-person wedding shower, a sit-down formal 30-person 80th birthday party, and most recently as 12-person buffet/sit-sit down bridal party. Kelly and her team are professional, friendly, and accommodating. The team attends to all the details.Kelly is fantastic at making menu and aesthetic recommendations ( floral, dinnerware, etc). The food has always been amazing, and we've had everything from veggie sandwiches, to salmon, to chicken, to meat for main courses. The sides and appetizers, as well as the desserts, are always delicious and beautifully plated. Her servers and chef are a delight to work with, managed easily in my space ( a not-so-big kitchen). Clean-up was impressive! The servers saved the leftovers for me and found my containers and plastic wrap in the kitchen. The counters were clean and the trash gone. Buttercup is my go-to caterer!

Kelly was amazing to work with for our event! She provided wrap around catering for our event and filled in every detail we didn't know we needed! From an amazing appetizer spread, to dessert and all of the drinks we were so pleased with our event! Her staff was friendly, attentive and incredibly hard working. The food was incredible. Everyone raved about the crostini spread!

I live in Ohio and needed to plan a memorial gathering at the California Botanic Garden in Claremont. Kelly with Buttercup Catering put my mind at ease. She did a beautiful job with the venue and took care of all the details to make our event just what I wanted. Thank you, Kelly!

*Quick version- Buttercup does it all and makes your event stress free. You won't regret booking everything you can threw them and dealing with one person Vs 10 different vendors all at once!!! All the workers are very professional, punctual and the food is absolutely delicious. They offer an array of things to plan a party from different styles of plates, florals, dance floor...just to name a few.*The more in depth of version (My personal experience) Buttercup was absolutely amazing and best part "STRESS FREE"!!!! I was planning a backyard wedding (which are never stress free). I first met Chef Kelly (owner) at a local coffee place. She is such a delightful person to work with, has such a creative mind mind set and is on top of her game. I walked in ready to talk about the food for the event. That completely changed!!! Not only do they offer an array of delicious foods you can choose from, Kelly strives to help you organize and book everything you need to be set for your event! I booked her Pastry Chef who was able to create exactly what the Bride envisioned as her wedding Cake. Then there was party rentals- chairs, linens, tables, table decorations, china, stemware, dance floor. When I left, I had 95% of my checklist done! With Buttercup, the sky is the limit! Kelly took care of the details and communication with all of the vendors from start to finish. Which was so pleasant only having to deal with Kelly for details vs calling a million other people to make sure things go smoothly.Then two days before the wedding the Bride remembered she never booked her bouquet or the men's boutonnieres!! I quickly texted Kelly to see if she knew a florist that could do it last minute! Of course here comes Kelly to the rescue! The bride gave her budget and details of what she envisioned. The day of the event, all the vendors were on time to drop off and set up before guests arrived. All of Buttercup's employees were on time, helpful, dressed accordingly and very professional. It was buffet style. So they made sure everything was moving smoothly and food was kept warm by the time dinner came around! Guests we're going back for seconds, then thirds! Everyone raved about how delicious the food and cake were. As for the Bride, she absolutely loved her bouquet! It turned out to be more beautiful then what she had envisioned. Last, but not least the dreadful clean up!!! After dinner was served, the employees cleaned up and asked when I'd like for them to be back to pick up the linens and the rest of the stemware. When it came to the rest of the vendors, Kelly took care of arranging all the pick up times with all the vendors and not making it an hassle or inconvenience for us. Which was of course was another perk going threw Buttercup's vendors!!! The end result- Stress free hostest, happy stuffed guests and a beautiful backyard wedding!!!

Wait, no, really...I can't even!! I was extremely privy to be able to eat a quiche made by Buttercup catering last weekend!OMG!! THE FREAKIN' BEST EVER!!!I love a good quiche, but this one was GREAT! The center was nice and smooth, and delicious, but the crust was the icing on the cake, errr, um, I mean quiche! lol!I was also able to taste a lot of their grilled vegetables on the charcuterie board and was blown away That each, and every different type of vegetable was seasoned to perfection and of the best quality! You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate how delicious everything is, but if you are, you will be amazed by how spot on everything is! Bravo, chef, bravo!!!!!

This was the best decision I made for a bridal shower. The food was great, and all staff were professional and friendly. Efficient set up and clean up. They were able to provide china, glassware, flatware, tables, chairs and linens. One-stop shopping! I highly recommend this caterer. They definitely know what they are doing.

Kelley at Buttercup Catering catered our daughter's Sweet 16. It was magical. Kelley is great with communication and details - such as the colorful goblets, vintage napkins, and flowers. The food was delicious with generous portions.
