Ribs were ok, brisket didn't do it for me swimming in a liquid that taste like liquid smoke and sweet vinegar fried chicken ok beans were out of a can a 30 minute wait time the cook who makes the sides decide to take the day off so all they had were beans. They call it North Carolina style BBQ and I just returned from my road trip I was very disappointed with North Carolina barbecue in North Carolina so here we are in Cali North Carolina barbecue just didn't do it for me

Took a 2 hour drive just to find out they are closed the site said open definitely disappointed

I'm being generous with the third star because I can see this is a startup and they're learning how to do things. I just noticed this place a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, they say they've been there about a year. Starting with the good, they don't charge extra for using your card. I have a pet peeve about places that do. Now for the rest. You pretty much can't trust the menu; a lot of the items are crossed out. Other items they may or may not have depending on who decided to come in and work. I was kinda in the mood for a burger, but I also have a pet peeve about these flimsy, whimpy burgers most Mom & Pop spots serve. I inquired and was told that their patties are 1/4 lb. Brisket is hard to get right. You have to earn my trust before I try your brisket, so I decided to go for the pulled pork sandwich instead. I knew when he was making it, as soon as he pulled out the mayonnaise, that this wasn't going to be the Southern pulled pork sandwich I was anticipating. I don't recall seeing him grill the bun, but when I first unwrapped the sandwich, it had a buttery sheen and the bun had a nice texture that was perfect for this sandwich. The pork wasn't pulled, it was more like diced. The meat had a nice smokey flavor, but I didn't taste any other seasoning on it. There was no BBQ sauce on the sandwich...definitely not a Southern BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Instead of mayo, I opted for mustard along with the lettuce and relish. It was a good combo. The sandwich was pretty good; far from fantastic. The fries came straight out of a bag, frozen, with a brand name I recognized from a popular warehouse store. They were cooked light, but well enough. I was actually thinking the fries would've been nice on the sandwich, but I didn't combine them. Now the bad. There was only one person working and he was pretty much overwhelmed. I noticed the waffles are made from a store-bought mix and just watching them being cooked, I would say they're close to burnt. As a former restaurant worker, I saw waste in the form of food cost and packaging that probably accounts for the price (my total was $14). I also noticed the employee didn't wash his hands when returning to the kitchen after physically going outside the restaurant to deliver food to waiting customers. In fact, I didn't even see a handsink in the immediate vicinity. Overall, I think they need a lot of help, in management, food preparation, taste, cleanliness and actual staff to run the place. I may check in with them from time to time, but it won't be at the top of my list.

Never got to the food, this is a sh-t hole, with lousy service. The service was non existent, and I mean literally nonexistent! so I took my business elsewhere. I like to support local black owned business, but this dump, will never see me again. If this is how they run their business, they shouldn't be in business. This sh-t hole should be in the backwoods of Mississippi.

If you are looking for a barbecue, this is not the spot! I've never in my life been to a barbecue spot that does not barbecue their food. I will swear on my life that this meat was boiled. The chicken was as white as an albino in the winter and to believe they consider their soul food, there was no soul in the food. I don't think they ever discovered seasoning. Then they had to nerves to throw on tasteless barbecue sauce, hoping that would give the food some flavor. I think not sir! The greens taste like they just picked them and barely blanch them. Macaroni and cheese taste like it was fresh from the box. As you can see, I am gravely disappointed. I wish they would take down their sign that says soul food. I love to support my black owned businesses, but I just can't do it this time. Note: my food was $62, not worth it at all.

Fast food prepared BETTER than home cooked food! Not only are Wynn and Dimitri the best hosts you could hope for, these fine masters, I do mean MASTERS of BBQ: two experts have the power to take a gloomy day after work and transform you to a culinary taste experience that removes you from your after work misery. Tried the 3 meat dinner. WOW! Smokey and tender flavor goodness. It is best to go experience it yourself, a basic dining facility, but I was in grown-up Heaven. You can order out too. But, get a bonded driver so the food gets home to YOU. Please do yourself a favor and give them a try for lunch and dinner. I have nothing but respect for this establishment. 10++

This place has amazing oxtails! I love the food and service, everyone seemed pretty friendly and they are not stingy with the food. Definitely worth the $$ and drive

All I have to say is my son Josh brought some BBQ from Bradfords BBQ and it was DELICIOUS. Josh got the BBQ SAMPLER and everything had a great taste and bbq sauce was very tasty. We will definitely be going back!

Taste like cardboard, well over cooked, and no seasoning! No sides!! The fish was advertised yet unavailable! It ultimately went into the trash so Money own the tubes! I just won't recommend it to Anyone!Just. No.
