Bowl House

Since my last review I've been here many more times. The owner will is an awesome cook and him and his wife are very kind people. I try to eat here once or twice a week because for one it's quality meat. It's fair priced and I support the small guy. Thanks will. Try the spicy shrimp and combo it with chicken.

I really digged this place. Just a window counter to order food and few tables. Simple. The food is also very tasty. I got myself a Garlic Sesame Shrimp Bowl and it was worth it.

Food is amazing. Customer service is even better, ordered over the phone and could tell the man helping me was very nice and down to earthIt's a hole in the wall, literally a drive-thru window you walk up to. They had like 3 small tables outdoor, 2 chairs each. Although indoor, these are my favorite types of spots. Low-key, whole in the wall with gewd food.

The best! They are incredibly nice as well. I really love their daily specials! If you're looking for a great bowl housenI highly recommend this place.

The food was delicious but would have like a third side or more japchae! This bowl is on the spicy side. The service was good it's a walk up counter to order!

Let me start off by saying that the food here is SO good. Everything is full of flavor. I got their bulgogie beef, which comes with steamed rice and glass noodles, and it did not disappoint. The woman working was also very friendly and always smiling so I would say great service as well.This place is almost like a small stand where you order through a window and they just hand you your food so there's really no ambiance, just grab and go.Now for the reason that they got four stars from me. The portion of the food is very small for the price. This plate alone after taxes is almost $17 and I am still hungry! You can run to a Hawaiian bbq joint and get almost double the food for the price. Either they need to have bigger portions or they need to lower their prices. I loved the food but unfortunately this isn't somewhere you can eat for lunch regularly.

Yummy, and they only use white meat chicken! Downtown La Verne! Don't blink, you'll miss it!

I used to eat here multiple times a week during my college years. This a hole-in-the-wall/mom and pop shop. I've tried their bowls, curry noodles, and ramen. Everything is fresh and flavorful.They have expanded their menu and also have other options. I opted to try their daily special: spicy chicken + shrimp, with a side of rice, veggies, and glass noodles for $10.50 + tax.The chicken and shrimp were well seasoned. It brought memories back. I also love the chilies in vinegar that they include. I need to stop by for lunch or dinner more often. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their food. They now accept card, which is convenient if you don't carry cash. They have a small seating area with a couple of tables and a bench. You could also walk over toward the library and enjoy your meal picnic style on the grass.

Long overdue review. I've been coming to the Bowl House for so long and it has never disappointed! The food is cooked to order, family owned by a friendly couple, in the heart of downtown La Verne. There is a small seating area to the front of the restaurant where you can enjoy the outdoors. Try their dumplings too!

Always good food. Service is quick. Small walk up window to order from no inside service
