Was craving some hot pot, and found this place round the Ontario Mills. Coming in for lunch on a weekday, so looks like there's no wait time. Got seated super quick. Pretty spacious restaurant, they have booths and regular tables too. Each person gets their own singular pot, it's not a big pot or those pots that let you have two separate soups. So you don't have to fight anyone for whatever ingredients you're cooking. Great assortment at the food bar. There are some items that are dinner only, but hey, AYCE. I always get fish cake, kabocha, corn and broccoli. I think there were 6-7 choices for meats during lunch. You get two hours to dine, I only gave myself an hour since I had to go back to work after, definitely would want to take my time next time I visit.

Came here last night with my family, and had a great experience.Food was great, and the ordering process is very simple and easy to understand. The salad bar is great, with a lot of options to pick from. Same from noodles and seafood. The meat is sliced thin, so it cooks in seconds in the broth.I'll definitely becoming a regular here.

The one thing about traveling around for work is always finding something to eat. And unfortunately, Ontario Ca, is definitely not known as one of those culinary driven cities. After spending 45 minutes, yes 45 minutes, trying to find a place for dinner, Boiling World popped up. Looked decent, and within walking distance from the hotel. When I got here, place was relatively empty. Got sat, and a male asked me for my drink order.Ordered a beer. Not a pitcher. And a club soda. And as slow as it was, it took forever for the beer to come. And it was a pitcher. If I was at a bar, I would've ordered a pitcher.but I'm having dinner. A solo diner! Didn't want to send it back, so I dealt with it.The lamb and pork were good quality. Some of the beef options were fair, not great. So ate mostly lamb. Kombu broth was good. Flavorful. And simple. Perfect.Their chili paste was good. Not spicy, but flavorful.Their "sesame sauce" was runny, no flavor and no texture. Having eggs on the buffet line was a plus since the price has skyrocketed. Overall experience was fair. The pitcher of beer was annoying. There was one male and one female server that were very attentive, the others not really.

Solid hot pot here! I always got the tofu soup base and they have a bar for you to get all your soup fixings, including sauces for dipping and whatnot. They even have different types of noodles--I always go for the spinach ramen. The meat quality is on point generally and the service is pretty responsive as they check on you often. The location itself is pretty roomy and they have a bar inside if you're into drinks, they have a good michelada. The pricing isn't too bad and for what you get it's definitely worth it, I've never had a bad experience here and have come a good amount of times. At the end they have a little ice cream menu for you to pick out of and it's always a great way to cap off a solid meal. Definitely recommend this spot if you're craving hot pot in the area

Was invited to a dinner and this is my first time here. The place wasn't as busy for a Friday night, however, parking was almost full so we parked near the Love store. Entering the place, you can check in with the front hostess while sitting near the entrance. The place looked clean however there were areas which you can tell they used as extra storage space. There's also a private room seating near the back. After getting into our seats, each table of 4 gets a menu sheet to order the soup base, meat, appetizers (1 per person), and drinks (non-alcoholic). Alcoholic drinks can be ordered through the bar side or servers. I chose tonkotsu base and sesame chicken for appetizer. For the meat ordering, it's 3 per person each round for up to 3 rounds. Had to tally next to the options and it's hard to sort out if everyone just digs in all together. The all you can eat option really means the sauce, vegetables, seafood, and noodle section. Very nice selection of options and I if you get a lot of these then most likely you won't get through all 3 rounds of meat. I chose the sesame paste with soy sauce, sausages (sweet and plump), spam, shrimp, and seaweed salad. Then for meats we ordered mostly beef options, bulgolgi was good but just not the same boiled. The meat slices were very thin but cooks super fast! We ordered 3 rounds of meat which is a lot more than expected. We were all super full by the time round 3 came. Ice cream was great but our favorite was cookies and cream. Sesame was ok, a bit too frozen solid. Thai tea was good but had to melt a bit to eat as well. Overall, we had a good time. I think it was a great hot pot experience. I would like to see all you can eat meat options but I'm sure most people won't make it to round 2 anyways.

Boiling World is an AYCE shabu experience! Just fair warning, prepare for a wait on Saturday nights (esp in the winter). My disclaimer on this review is that we had an unfortunate event that I don't think reflects the restaurant in general, but it did unfortunately result in my overall rating. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait for 2 people, but after about a little over an hour of waiting at the front in view of the hosts and no call to our phone number we provided, we checked in to find out our name was crossed out and 3-4 parties after us were already seated. The hostess offered the next table to us. Meat quality is good, they allow 3 orders of meat per person every round for 3 rounds which I think is a good amount. The meat comes in small trays for individual use if desired. Most trays will only come with 2-3 pieces of meat but it fed us well through the 2nd round. Staff were nice and attentive but I really do think they need to hire more for the floor. Felt like we only had 2 servers for one whole side of the restaurant and it's quite big! Drinks took a while to be delivered. There's a bar at the front where you can order drinks while you wait, pretty unique concept I haven't seen often at shabu places.Variety of vegetables and sides were great, I've never seen so many different types of noodles at a shabu place and each was good quality. Some seafood is only offered at dinner time (mussels, bay scallops, crawfish). Great variety of greens and mushrooms. Has a rice station and sauce station has plenty of variety. Their boiling world sauce was good, tasted similar to a sesame sauce. Appetizers: one app per person is offered. We decided to get the gyoza and furikake fries. Gyoza was good and crispy, but the fries were mushy and dry at the same time, with very little to no furikake or taste. Dessert comes at the end which is ice cream of your choice of flavor! Really cute pints that come with a spoon hidden in the cap. Was milky and creamy, great way to end the meal. Overall we thought the quality of the food is good for an AYCE, but service can be improved. Thank you Boiling world!

How have people given this restaurant fewer than 5 stars?!? They literally serve everything, and it's up to you how it's flavored and cooked. If you don't like the food here, you don't like your own cooking! You choose a broth base (from 10), then create a sauce from 10ish options (sesame, soy, yuzu, ponzu, etc). Then you order meats off the menu (from another 10ish options like lamb, brisket, pork belly). Then you top it all of by adding vegetables, seafood, noodles, and other add-ins from a bar that's literally 60 feet long. They have *everything*! Add to this feast that there are many servers and they're all sweet and knowledgeable. I could eat here dozens of times and never have the same thing twice, all of my own creation. I love it!

I was in the area and Yelped a hot pot place. This came up in suggestions and chose it because they had Tom Yum and Tonkotsu broth options. This place was AMAZING! Arrived about 3pm on a Saturday, party of 2. We got seated right away. One price AYCE. You basically pay for the meats, but their food line was even better! All the veggies you can think of, huge shrimp, crab, fish balls, ramen and different kinds of noodles, and includes the sauce bar. There was also dessert and fruit. It was honestly the best hot pot I've had and definitely worth the drive and price. 10/10 will go again! I forgot to take pics... Ooops! Just know, everything was devoured.

My current favorite hot pot restaurant. This is a large capacity, spacious restaurant near the Ontario Mills Mall. There are many choices available at this AYCE establishment. The buffet ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Depending whether you are here for lunch or dinner, the selections will vary slightly. There are more seafood and meat choices available during dinner hours but lunch items are still very satisfying. It is a great meal no matter what time you come. The number of broths available makes it hard to choose sometimes. I usually get the Chinese herbal, pork tonkatsu, or miso broths. The Chinese herbal broth is an acquired taste if you did not grow up with this particular medicinal flavor profile. This broth definitely has plenty of the dried herbs (which you don't eat) and a generous amount of goji berries and red dates (which you do eat). So healthy. An appetizer comes with the meal. It is per person so everyone can select a different one to share. I especially liked their jap chae which is very well made and flavorful. It is a good portion size as well. Gyoza is good here, too.Meats are limited to three choices per person per round. The meat selections can be different. I usually select tripe, pork belly, beef bulgogi, and beef brisket although I have tried all the other meats available. The beef, except for bulgogi, are shaved paper thin and limited to a few slices per portion. It is not a problem since the meat cooks in seconds and you can order more since it is AYCE. The beef bulgogi is especially flavorful so select that if you prefer thicker cut slices. The seafood items at the buffet are plentiful both during lunch and dinner hours. I usually get the lobster balls, mussels, fresh fish filets, and scallops. There are plenty of veggies and noodles to choose from. One of my favorites is taro. At the end of the buffet is the sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauces. I always choose the sesame paste and grated daikon radish as my saucing choice. There is also a great fresh tasting kimchi at the buffet as well as a refreshing marinated cucumber banchan. A small portion of ice cream is included with the meal. I usually choose black sesame but the green tea and mango flavors are good as well. There is a small spoon in the lid of the ice cream cup.The staff is very polite and friendly. Meats are replenished quickly. Plenty of parking in the lot. The times I went to the restaurant were during the hours after lunch and before dinner. It is usually not busy then so you can ensure that your meal is leisurely and a good experience.
