Bluewater Grill - Temecula

We were visiting from Burbank. Mathew told me how great your clam chowder was, so we had to stop in for lunch before we hit the road home. My husband got the fish and chips. He loved that your coleslaw because it was not too sweet, as many are. He would hardly share any of it with me.;) Both of our meals were delicious. We will return on our next trip.

We came here for the 2nd time in a week because we enjoyed it the first time.We ordered the grilled octopus again but today was not as good. Part of it seemed uncooked and chewy. My husband ordered the rockfish which was just ok and a bit fishy and dry. I had the breaded calamari steak which was or except that the breading fell apart and was left just with the steak that had no flavor. I felt bad but decided not to send anything back which I should have.I paid over 100 dollars for lunch that we didn't enjoy.I am not sure if I will be back.

Food: my wife and I ordered the fisherman platter and Bouillabaisse. Both were good. I really enjoyed the Bouillabaisse, he had a nice Smokey flavor to it. Service: our waitress was kind and attentive Pricing: expect to pay $25+Overall: we were shocked it was busy at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. We can see why.

We finally got around to trying out Bluewater Grill and are glad we did! We stopped in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, but ended up waiting less than 20 minutes. We made good use of the time by grabbing seats in the bar area where we ordered an espresso martini and an old-fashioned, both of which were perfectly prepared by Kate! We were seated outside and were totally comfortable thanks to lots of heaters. We started with the calamari appetizer which was delicious and definitely enough for four people to share - note for next time! Cain brought us a little bit of their New England clam chowder to sample which was excellent! I had grilled salmon and so appreciate that it was prepared to the perfect medium rare doneness, and delicious served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Hubby enjoyed the roasted stripe bass and finished every last bite! No room for dessert, although it was tempting as Cain explained that all are prepared in-house. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, from the hostess, to Kate and Matt at the bar, to our awesome server, Cain. We'll be back...and look forward to trying out their happy hour as well!

Try to make reservations here because it does get busy. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great for large parties. Everything i had was very good. The half dozen oysters were better than expected for Temecula.

I came here in a party of 2 without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait for only 15 minutes. The restaurant is very spacious and has cool decor. The staff were very friendly.They immediately gave us bread and menus. We ordered crab and artichoke dip and calamari for our appetizers. I had a blackened swordfish for my entree and key lime pie for dessert.The portions for the calamari and crab dip were very big. The calamari has both rings and tentacles. It came with a sweet chili sauce and a remoulade (tastes like cocktail sauce with aioli). The calamari was very tender. The crab dip came with chips. The dip was warm, creamy, and cheesy. Both of these appetizers were delicious and could've honestly been entrees based on their size.The swordfish came in a massive portion on a huge plate. The rice has some heat and is pretty soft, almost like a risotto. This was the perfect fish dish. The fish was cooked perfectly and the spice was comforting. The key lime pie was good too. The whipped cream was not overly sweet and tasted like actual cream. Overall this is a great seafood restaurant with excellent service and huge portion sizes. I am so glad that they have multiple locations.

Always a great dining experience here. Greeted warmly upon arrival and quickly seated. Warm, soft and delicious Sourdough bread waiting for us, and we ate it ALL! Server was prompt to take our drink orders, and she was so nice and good at her job. Food was as amazing as always. You cant find a better place for fish, never a disappointment. Thank you for a great time and a great meal.

Late Post - 11/16/24Friends and I came here and it was my first time. Parking lot has a lot of spaces and it is easy to find off the main road. We came here at around 3pm, so it wasn't busy but it started getting busy around 5pm. When we left, the place was packed. We ordered the following:Baked Crab and Artichoke Dip - was yummy, cheesy and very flavorful and came with tortilla chips.Clam Chowder - Was perfectly cooked and had a good amount of clams in it. I could've had three bowls of this. San Francisco Cioppino - Very savory soup and the seafood that came with was perfectly cooked, I liked that the shrimps and mussels that came with it were bigger in size than other places I've tried. This came with grilled bread.Prawn Linguini - My friend ordered this but I tried some of it and it was yummy. The sauce was so good but also had a tiny kick to it. The prawns were also pretty good size. Panko Fried Jumbo Prawns - I didn't get to try this but my friend liked it. This dish came with fries. Service was pretty good. Our server checked on us often and even when we asked someone else for assistance, they helped us. I highly recommend this restaurant. I enjoyed everything I had and would come back in a heartbeat.

Went into blue water grill for the second time. Everything was just as great if not better. Brian helped guide us to a great dinner he had great recommendations

Had a great time. love the low key atmosphere. Lindsay, our server was very nice and attentive. We will come back and ask for her. Thank you for a great experience
