My wife and my favorite breakfast spot, hands down. Annie's Cafe is second, but a distant second. Love how roomy the dining area is and the breakfast is affordable and delicious. I've always liked Denny's, but the last time we ate there we both agreed that the food was a joke compared to BB and we hopefully won't be returning. Pro tip- try the sausage patty.

My family and I dined here on a Sunday morning. They were pretty busy so we let them know we would sit outside if available. We were able to be seated right away but we had to wait about 15 minutes for a server to come out and talk to us. I ordered the BLT and fries, the bread was really stale and tasted like they made my meal first and let it sit a while. There were only 2 small slices of bacon on the sandwich and the fries were very bland and cold. This was my first time at this location, and I usually get breakfast when going to Black Bear. I will definitely avoid the BLT going forward.

The parking lot was convenient, as this location used to be a Coco's, and we easily found a spot. I called ahead on Christmas Day to confirm they were open, and there was no wait! My family and I were seated quickly, which was a great start. Our service was solid, despite my parents previously mentioning mixed experiences. I loved the casual vibe of the staff in their PJs and festive Christmas attire--it felt like dining at home. While service did taper off a bit toward the end, it was still decent overall. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the cozy cabin-like atmosphere added a nice touch. A great option for a casual meal!

Just your typical diner breakfast food. Service was alright a tad slow but they were also slammed so I understand. The wait wasn't too bad less than 5 minutes on a Sunday morning for a party of 4. The menu is like a newspaper so it's kind of annoying to flip through and interesting they're in this style and not the typical menu with the plastic. Seems more wasteful. The eggs were perfect over easy and hashbrowns were cooked well. Italian sausage was not that hot it was a low spice level but enjoyable. Biscuit though left me wanting more it's a pretty bland and dry biscuit I asked for butter to try to help it but I only had a few bites. It is a bit loud in here as it's just a large room and so it's a little hard to hear when talking. I wouldn't be opposed to eating here again but not high on the visit again list compared to other diners

First visit to this location. We had a variety of foods from the menu. The green salad was a good portion and was fresh. I like the idea that there is a Small Menu for adults, for us who don't eat large food protions. The tri-tip small menu portion had seasoning and tasted ok, a little overcooked. The mashed potatoes was the best I've tasted for awhile. The green beans had bacon pieces and some onions-it tasted ok. My guest had a hamburger w/fries; the burger was small and the patty wasn't tasty at all. our other guest had a Ruben sandwich, she didn't say much about it.We ordered desserts; which are pre-heated at the restaurant, I dont' believe they are made at Black Bear. The berry cobbler had a jell coating over the blackberries, not much sauce it was so=so. The chocolate pie was a disappointment. We tried this place, probably won't go back. The ambience was good, lots of bear items and a gift shop. The waitress was very good and attentative.

We discovered this place when we happened to be driving by the area. This place is kind of tucked away before the freeway. The inside aesthetic is pretty cool, loads of bears, hot sauce, and a menu that walks you thru the history of the diner. We were immediately taken care of and the waitress gave us a couple of recommendations including the huckleberry lemonade which was delicious. We also ordered one of the malted shakes which was also flavorful. We ordered fish and chips and the Ruben sandwich for lunch. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly, the Ruben was not bad but very very greasy. The prices were very reasonable (especially considering how bad things are priced lately), and they have tons of specials we're going to come back and check. If you like mellow diners with a bear theme, good prices, and good food check this place out!

Well, I have to admit this time the service was excellent from Betsy and the place was very clean and welcoming! I had the Papa Bear burger which was massive! The onion rings were perfect too! The coffee was tasty and hot! In addition, every time I took a couple of sips it was filled again! Talk about service! Food was on point and everyone was thanking us for coming in. Give it a try.

Black Bear Diner has a great hearty breakfast menu. This place is my top 3 choices for breakfast for 3 reasons: Breakfast is generously served, price is fair for size and quality, and friendly staff. Dining area is clean every time we've eaten there.

The tri-tip was tough and some of it had a strange taste. Two of us ordered tri-tip and both had issues with it. Even the table next to us commented about this.Otherwise, the remaining food and service were great.

I was excited to hear of Black Bear opening here, as my wife and I have always liked the Murrieta location. However, the quality of the food here has been inconsistent. Additionally, we have never been able to order for delivery via the app. It always takes me all the way through the process before informing me that "we are unable to process this order for delivery -- please try again later or try another location." We are nearby to this location and this is hardly a high-crime area.In the present case, after getting the usual delivery denial from the app, I went to the location. The food was prepared quickly, and it took just a few minutes to get it home. But the fish in the fish and chips was rubbery (batter), to the point that my wife could not eat it.I searched both the app and the website for a link to a chat or even an email drop for complaints about the app experience to no avail. There is a rather hidden 'contact' link on the website, but that for some reason focuses exclusively on dine-in service issues. We prefer to be supportive of local businesses and I prefer leaving positive reviews, but this experience does not lend itself to that.
