~Hot Dickety Dog!~SITREPIn the last few years I've been hitting Riverside for weekly work training trips, I try to get at least ONE visit over to Big Mama's for a lunch break during that week, because it's FUN and it's YUM.THE SETUPDerek and crew have a great set-up with the Hot Dog cart, but they are also on the lookout for possible franchisees that they would support with product and resources. If you would like the independence and fun of this kind of vending, you really should give the Big Mama's operation a call.HOT DOG!After sampling the wares, I've settled on a couple of favorites: the Chicago Fire Dog and the Louisiana Hot Link. Both are spicy and though the link is one of the more expensive options, it is my favorite.They come with all the fixens too such as peppers, onions, relish and the spicy mustard. Now if they ever run a Seattle Dog with the cream cheese'd toasted bun option, then I'd be in heaven and would pay $6-$7 just for the reminisce..[Caveat: with as many quality Mexican eatery options as there are around the immediate downtown Riverside area, I am not a big fan of their tamales, especially at that price. But hey, whatever floats your boat and whatever is convenient for you given time & proximity.] THE LOWDOWNAs far as Hot Dog Stands go, this one is barking up the right tree!

This is a food stand that's located in front of the criminal courthouse in Riverside. Main and 10th. Derek is always friendly and personable, and it really makes even the most stressful days easier when I speak with him. I haven't tried the food yet, but I plan to try its tamale.

WOW! Amazing! Delicious! We had Big Mama's Hot Dogs at our football games last Saturday. They served hot dogs from 10 am - 8 pm. They were amazing. They kept up serving everyone. They never ran out of food or drinks. Every single person was happy. The hot dogs were amazing. Larry and his nephew are hard workers and pleasant with everyone. I will most definitely have them back next year. I can't say enough good things about Big Mama's Hot Dogs!!!

Big Mama's did a family event and Lawerence was great! Hot dogs were delicious and he was welcoming and personable.On time, kind, and professional. Would recommend.

These hot dogs are superior to any other! My favorite is the jalapeño and cheddar dog. Lawrence is the greatest too. He is so nice and accommodating. Best truck in town for parties and events!
