Big D’s After Dark

A Must Do! 3 & 3/4 Stars for Big D's in Pomona. They play Dance Music from the 60s through today; but they mostly play 70s & 80s Music. You'll hear The Bee Gees & Saturday Night Fever, The B52s, Duran Duran, Kool & The Gang but also Brenton Wood Oogum Boogie & even today's hit song Taki Taki. They are now bringing in these Dance & Disco Bands as well. Sometimes you can get Discount Tickets for the groups @ Groupon. VJ Envy & DJ Precious are @ The Steering Wheels Playing Videos & spinning the Vinyl Grooves @ Big D's.There is a Huge Revival of the 60s, 70s & 80s Music going on today. We went to see the group Lime. It was a packed House & they got the whole crowd singing & Dancing to their Disco Hits. A Fun Night as the crowd was really into it. It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

I absolutely love this place. I have been here twice and already have my tickets for my next visit to see Lime. This place is known for their awesome performances by 80s artist. I went to see Maryam from Tapps and Trans-X. Tickets presale are as cheap as $5 (plus a small service fee) and they have great $3 drink options all night. The DJ plays good ass music, funk, freestyle, high energy disco, 80s hits. Great crowd, not a huge venue but not over crowded either. They have decent size bathrooms, which we can all appreciate if we've been drinking. Haven't tried their food but the also have a taquero towards the back of the place. I truly recommend this place if you appreciate the 80s as much as I do. I wish I lived closer, I usually drive an 1hr-1hr 1/2 from LA. I will definitely continue coming!

Great music, lots of great live music and there is usually a drink special. Be careful though, drinks can be high priced at times.

Not happy with cover charge and table charges of 100.00 to 150.00 to see a local band,and these charges were not announced even changed cover charge on one of my friends when she got to door very bad customer service I will not be back again

The music here was awesome. And the vibes were very exciting ! It' felt like Krazy J's but with the Spanish touch of Latin music. The bar inside was on point serving drinks very quickly. Thank you Mellow.
