Bethune Park

The day I was checking it out, Parks and Rec was there making sure it's clean and tidy.With the covered seating areas by the BBQ and the water features it looks to be a good place to bring kids for a quick get away.As with any public place now, be aware of your surroundings and do not lets kids run free.

I would love to give this park 5 but I can't. The water park is great, the play ground is nice but the benches are gross. The benches need to be replaced. Also, the time we were there a couple were arguing and cussing each other out and started hitting each other over drugs in front of a lot of younger kids and their own. It was terrible. Have some security and I'm sure it will get better rating.

Sweet, free summer hang out with sunshine and a super cool water sprinkler system that becomes a water park for kids in the summer. The playground is awesome too. Such fun childhood memories.

I didn't know about this park until some months ago due to a kids birthday party & agin recently another kids party was held here as well. The park is nice itself and my son enjoyed the playground, also the water splash park that is on the side. The reason for the low review is due to the people who have no respect about other families and the children in the area. First I'm sure there is no alcohol allowed at parks but sure enough people had alcohol and second the music people play, they need to be respectful of other parties being held and I for one do not like having music that is inappropriate for kids to listen to. Music with such foul language, inappropriate and filled with profanity is not everyone's liking and I don't believe the children needs to hear it, especially at a park. If you do want to play that at a park, please be respectful and don't have it extremely loud, we couldn't even hear the music that was being played in our lil area.
