While in Chino Hills for the evening, my friends and I decided to give this place a try. We were seated immediately on a Saturday night, with no wait, which was a pleasant surprise.We ordered the lemon salmon roll, mango salmon roll, salmon carpaccio, and tornado omurice. The rolls were decent but nothing remarkable. The imitation crab, in particular, tasted like something you'd find in supermarket sushi, which made the dishes feel more ordinary. Overall, the food lacked a unique touch--everything felt like something I could easily make at home. The lemon salmon roll was the exception and the standout of the meal, though. The tornado curry omurice was fine, but again, nothing special--it tasted like a homemade curry.The salmon carpaccio, however, was my favorite--very buttery with thick, tender slices.The service was decent, though the staff seemed like they were still settling into their routines. This didn't bother me too much, but it did contribute to the overall feeling that things were a bit disjointed.While I likely wouldn't return, I think there are other sushi restaurants nearby that offer better quality at a better price.

Food 2/5 Tempura - BAD, we couldn't even finish it. My vegetables were too charred and bitter. Tempura batter should be light/crunchy/fluffy but this was oily/soggy/thicc af. The dipping sauce was also a weird flavor. Disgusting all around. Chefs Sashimi - this is where they earned the 2 stars for food or else it would be 0. The fish was indeed pretty fresh and the presentation was beautiful. All the shellfish lacked sweetness and wasn't as fresh as the fish, but it was decent. Chefs nigiri - same as above but the rice was a bit under seasoned (no subtle taste of vinegar or sweetness) but the rice softness/doneness was spot on. Ambiance 2/5Our corner smelled like piss. It was very unpleasant like we were eating in a dive bar. The sushi chef is also the DJ, not his fault we didn't like the music but it was sometimes too loud and sometimes too soft (he kept tinkering with it). Service was fine no complaints there. But we won't be coming back. Btw, I think this is a chinese owned establishment, not authentic Japanese. There's just nothing about it that's better than ojiya so we will continue to go to ojiya.

In reference to my recent dining experience, I must express my dissatisfaction with the establishment's customer service. Upon attempting to settle the bill with an American Express card, the staff member erroneously informed us that they did not accept this form of payment, despite the restaurant's signage clearly indicating otherwise. This misrepresentation was particularly frustrating and left us feeling taken advantage of.Furthermore, I found the pricing of the food to be excessive, and the quality of the omurice was below my expectations. While the sushi appeared fresh, the overall dining experience was marred by the aforementioned customer service issues.Regrettably, I will not be returning to this establishment in the future.

This place is absolutely a hidden gem in chino, I guess it's a fairly new establishment so everything clean and organized. Food is tasty and fresh which went beyond my expectations. What they could actually improve is probably the presence of the staff, I mean, unified outfit look more professional and neat.

This is actually an amazing sushi spot and I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner. It is a hidden gem with fresh fish and reasonable prices. Their sashimi platter was massive and the cuts of fish were fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming back to try their omurice!

We were immediately greeted as we walked in by the server. Drinks and food came out immediately after ordering. Service was really good. My favorite out of everything was definitely the Bengee House Special Combination (10 pc). Must try! It was perfect! I would come back only for that. So worth it. Spicy garlic edamame was also good. Every place makes it differently, but I like this one. Everything else was still good though. Spider roll in my opinion needs to be crunchier (the soft shell crab inside), but it wasn't bad enough to ding off a star. Great place. Came on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and not much people. Special salmon roll was just typical. Flavor. Special yam roll got me going 0.0. I like the pork sung that they have though. It was worth a try but not the most memorable one. Restroom was clean.

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the beautifully designed interior. I ordered the chirashi bowl and my friend ordered the ramen as well as a salmon handroll. The fish in the chirashi bowl was so fresh, they had a wide variety of quality fresh fish, and they really didn't skimp out on portions. Even the handroll my friend ordered was full of fresh salmon with minimal rice. I wish had taken photos of the presentation because the dishes they used were very unique and beautiful as well. We left very satisfied and happy with our experience. We'll definitely be coming back!
