bb.q Chicken DT Riverside

I wanted fried chicken for a random weeknight craving and this was my spot. Very cool location in downtown Riverside right across from an enclosed parking facility. Ordered the half fried whole chicken with golden skin. Not bad at all. Willing to pay a little more for a step up above KFC and Popeyes. Online ordered, and take out was perfect with no wait.Good place to hangout and have a beer with fried chicken at night...

My boyfriend and I were curious about this place as we used to travel from Riverside to Fullerton for Korean Fried Chicken wings, once a month. Unfortunately, the place closed (Chicken University) and so we were looking for another spot. We decided to try this place and it was tasty. I can't speak for the service because my boyfriend got it go, but the prices are pretty high for what you get. We ordered wings with fried cheese sticks. Flavors were great! The food is good, aside from the fries, but I'm unsure if we will come back because you get so little for what you pay for.

I discovered this place when my son craved for Korean fried chicken. Yelp, as usual came to our rescue. Let me start off by saying that my rating is based upon 2 visits to this place. I am leaving out the 5 star rating because they got my order wrong the 2nd time. This has no bearing on their food though. First time, I ordered the Half & Half Whole chicken (half-original & half- secret sauce) along with Kimchi Fried Rice. The chicken was tender, juicy with one of the most delicious crusts I had eaten. The kimchi fried rice served as a nice compliment to the dish. The packaging is pretty unique as it helps preserve the flavors & the crispiness of the chicken very well. My son enjoyed it a lot and 2 weeks later again asked for it. This is where they got the order wrong. Instead of the Half & Half Whole chicken I got the Half & Half wings. I took a carryout and found out later when I reached home. The wings were good, but not as good as the whole chicken.Service is very friendly and they don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with you. I will definitely order from there next time, but will make sure to check they get the order right.

Amazing food and service. The portions are great and the flavors are wonderful. Highly recommend. Clean and nicely decorated. Good place for friends and family.

Got their whole chicken and wasn't as much of a fan as they chop the pieces too small in our opinion but still superior in batter!

Super excited to see that the bb.q chicken chain opened up in Downtown Riverside! Found the chicken to be consistent with its other locations. It was fresh, juicy, and the sauces were great. In particular the Gangnam style and the honey garlic flavors stood out, and of course you can't go wrong with the original. The secret sauce was just okay in my opinion, the fries were nice and crispy.Service, location, and cleanliness of the restaurant was great. Nicely decorated and spacious interior that accommodated our large party well. Very happy to dine here and can't wait to go back for more!

This place is great. I came in with a group of 20 tonight and the food was great . I had the wings of fire and they were delicious! The restaurant is cute and clean and the staff were kind and friendly... especially Emmari ! Definitely a must in Downtown Riverside!

Chicken is delicious and always crispy! The rose tteokbokki is a must! Service is also very fast and amazing! Lots of seats and very clean space.

Before opening, me and my friend were waiting outside in the cold. They allowed us in to sit down even before they opened. Great customer service, and even better chicken!
