Have you had their brunch menu? We've been here a few times now for brunch and they never disappoint. AMBIANCE: Cool trendy vibe with lots of decor.SERVICE: Very friendly and quick seating. Our server was attentive and nice.FOOD: YUM! Today (Feb 16, 2025) We had the Hashed Out (short rib with mushrooms, onions and potatoes topped with an egg; Frenchie (French toast with cinnamon cream cheese and berries); and a chicken salad. Everything tasted great!!

Brunch was okay today. My meal was alright (I had the Hashed Out meal) but I will give this place a try again and try a different food item. Their mini Beignets were so good though.Service was amazing and our waitress took care of our needs. Very nice and helpful.

I finally got a chance to try Batter Rebellion after seeing all of their yummy Instagram posts. I came here for lunch with my best friend, who was visiting from out of town, and it offered the perfect location, outdoor/indoor views, and feel. We ordered their mimosa flight, and it did not disappoint. For food, I ordered a burger, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. The service was our favorite thing, aside from the mimosa flight. Our server was so attentive, and she even packed us water in to-go cups once we were ready to leave. Overall, I was pleased with our experience and hope to come back for some yummy brunch or paint night event!

Found this place on Yelp because it was close to the Glass Museum. I forgot to make a reservation (my bad), arrived @ 12:15ish & they were packed. We put name down & went for a walk. Came back to check & they were still packed but Michaela (sorry if I misspelled) made every effort to try to seat us & it turned out that a 2-top near the bar was available because the party that they expected to sit there didn't. The bartender Ella came right over to greet us & recommended the Violet Sky cocktail. She said was a well rounded drink & she was 100% right. It was delicious! I had the short rib hash & it was so good I cleaned the bowl. My friend had the croissant chicken sandwich & she enjoyed it. We treated ourselves to beignets & it was a perfect ending to the meal. The food was on point & the service was wonderful. I look forward to going back.

I live in Seal Beach and today I met up with my daughters and grandsons .My family was walking around and saw this place we went in and had the best lunch ever the service was outstanding.Priscilla was our waitress by far the best service hands down when you go there ask for her and the food amazing

Batter Rebellion is one of our favorite places for brunch. It's always a lively and fun atmosphere with the drinks and food flowing. I've tried several of the Brunch items but my go to is "Fowl Play" their take on Chicken and Waffles. The fried boneless chicken thighs are seasoned and battered to perfection and piled on top of fluffy cornbread waffles. I paired my meal with a local Hazy IPA and my girlfriend had waffles and home fries paired with a delicious cocktail. If you're planning to visit for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday be sure to make a reservation! Bonus: If you served our country, don't forget to ask for the military/veteran discount which takes 20% off your meal!

Here for Valentine's Day and the food is good, drinks are delicious. Shout out to the owner who hooked us up with a more comfortable seats. Definitely recommend this place.

There's no Batter Rebellion than the one about to happen in your mouth. And I mean burgers.This gastropub serves up some unique burgers that are filled with rebelling flavors that just somehow work. The black sheep? Can't compete with their onion jam on it. Everything just accumulates into something amazing. Who says being different is bad?The glazed over? It's not exactly using a donut as a bun, and thank goodness cause that's just diabetic and gross. This one uses a brioche bun like any other but has a donuty glaze over it. This one is more like a hearty breakfast burger than anything else but wow, it's great in its own right too.I'm sure they have great drinks too given that it's a gastropub. But hey, every rebellion starts with a small movement somewhere right?

For my best friend's birthday, Batter Rebellion was one of our stops for a cute brunch to kick off our day. There is street parking in the general area or a public parking structure nearby. They restaurant had fun and hip vibes, with neon backdrops saying, "Misfits" and "Rebel Without a Cause."We were lucky we didn't have to wait, but they looked like they were fairly busy. Service was really attentive getting our orders in, but it was a bit absentee after we received our food. My friend loves fried chicken so it was fitting that she ordered their Fowl Mouth ($18) which is the business' take on the beloved chicken and waffles. Their special waffle batter is a unique jalapeno corn bread mix that goes really well with their juicy fried chicken. I had their Hashed Out ($18.50) which had delicious short ribs and a sunny side up over a bed of tricolored potatoes. It was good but really heavy. I couldn't get to all of the potatoes but the toppings were enjoyable. I also indulged in a Blood Mary ($13) which was about average tasting but I loved the touch of the bacon and olives. A surprisingly enjoyable meal. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I highly recommend if you were here in the area looking for a tasty brunch restaurants.

Food was amazing and good portion sizes as well. The servers here are amazing and very attentive kept our drinks full all night! Our server Fray was great. We came during bingo night and it was really fun! Steven was super cool with the everyone and made everyone feel welcome! Thanks to the staff and Steven for a great date night!
