I was craving pho so I decided to come and try this place out. I love the versatility that this restaurant has to offer within their menu. From pho, to pad Thai, and they even have wings! The server was very attentive and sweet. I believe his name is Sean. The interior is cozy and can be a spot to grab food with friends or even just to grab a quick bite by yourself. Now, the pho was just perfect. I always take a sip of the broth just by itself anywhere I go to judge the flavor and this broth was packed with flavor. I recommend this dish if you enjoy spicy just as much as I do. The seafood in the pho consisted of scallop, crab sticks, octopus, and shrimp. There was a good ratio of meat and noodle. Overall 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes!

I had no idea this place was even here, It's new and it is SO delicious. It's such good food and such good quality food. The flavor of the beef broth on the pho was so good I drank the broth until my bowl was empty. The vegetables were fresh and the flavor was great! My husband got the chicken and rice bowl and we both had pickled carrots and jalapeño to garnish. The place is really cute and clean, and the service was great. I will definitely come back! I'm so glad there is a new delicious Pho place to visit.

I saw this newly opened Vietnamese Thai restaurant the other week and was eager to try since the menu looks very appealing. It was a Wednesday night and we were the only table beside another table with one person. Scanned through the menu and decided to order beef pho, yam veggie roll, gyoza and fried chicken bowl. The service was nice and attentive. Now, let me review the food:- Beef pho is below par, the broth wasn't hot at all and it was too little for the typical pho bowl. Nicely, the waiter brought us another bowl of broth and it was very hot when we mentioned our concern to him. Why not from the beginning they served it as hot? The flavor of the broth wasn't savory IMHO. It's not that authentic and the beef is just ok, a bit dry overall. - Fried chicken rice bowl is more like Japanese Oyako don, but with fried chicken. The portion is pretty small, the portion of the chicken itself more like appetizer size. The rice also tastes old. - Yam Veggie Roll was pretty good, but way too much Thai sweet chili sauce and gyoza was just ok. Definitely it breaks my heart to experience this at a newly opened restaurant and as much as I'd love supporting small business, I'll put my money somewhere else.

3.75 I can't say the food was great...it was just good. I have to say everything we ordered tasted clean and fresh. The beef pho is the perfect portion for one adult male. I was able to share mine with my tween and it was enough for us as we ordered other stuff too. The egg rolls seem freshly made in-house and their lemongrass chicken bahn mi was delicious! The restaurant has plenty of seating. No tv inside. I did order the bahn mi again today to go for $9.50 each for the chicken bahn mi.

Newly opened in Chino Hills (off Soquel Canyon where Lemongrass used to be). Vietnamese / Asian cuisine- hidden gem. First - amazing service. Very welcoming and nice (Issa was so sweet). Food was good; Philadelphia dumplings (aka crab Rangoon aka cream cheese wontons) super tasty that we ordered another - sauce complimented it; fried squid was delicious (could've eaten with rice for a yummy meal; lemongrass chicken; pork chop; wonton soup; bone in lemon pepper chicken wings, and my personal favorite - shrimp pad Thai (not your traditional but tasty nonetheless). Will definitely come back - need to try their other dishes, especially their pho. Super home-cooking kinda vibe and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to try it again.

So it's cold and rainy today and the fam wants Bun Bo Hue! Had to try Basil Bistro because it's just down the street and we're just happy to have a Vietnamese restaurant nearby again since Lemongrass closed. Bun Bo Hue is so flavorful and spicy and the extra sate chili oil brings it to next level spicy. My lips were tingling and sweat was trickling down my neck. That's what you call hurts so good! Lol. If you want to clear out your sinuses, this will do it! Like I said, perfect during cold, wet weather. We also tried the BBQ squid and yummy! Great flavor. This is how Asians like our calamari. We will be back to try other items. The lady taking my order was super sweet and gave me some hot tea while waiting for my order.

I got the bbq squid which came with a small salad and some soy type sauce to dip. It was nice to start off with. Next was some spicy mayo wings. The base of the wings are salt and pepper & the spicy mayo comes on the side. They were very crunchy and yummy! The service was good and the vibe of the place was casual.
