Baker's Drive-Thru

Baker's started in San Bernardino on Highland in 1952. They were ahead of the time in '95 when they transitioned from a twin (Mexican & American) kitchen to a twin kitchen that also offered vegetarian options. Essentially, if you find yourself in the IE and want an alternative to a Double Double, a Double Baker with Cheese is the closest thing. No, it's not the same, it's not supposed to be. Most of their locations are in Riverside, but you can find them from Corona to Colton.

I really took a chance on this menu. There were WAAAY too many options and I felt overwhelmed and rushed to order. I got two meals and neither satisfied either eater.I got the double cheeseburger meal and asked for onion to be added. I got a large Diet Coke and fries. The onion must have escaped my burger with most of the veggies. It was a pretty sad and soggy burger with weird sauces cheese. There was no flavor balance and was very salty. If they had put in more veggies, it would have been much yummier. And the fries were ok. I got my friend the teriyaki chicken burger with Mr. Pibb and fries. Somehow, the burger wasn't that great and the chicken wasn't very flavorful. When I took a bite, I wondered where the rest of the burger was. Both drinks had a lot of ice and he thought the fries were too soft. I took a chance on dessert and I went for the churro cinnamon roll and it never ended up in my bag. So... maybe they need more workers? Their food has no balance in taste and I could tell the cashier was really busy. I don't see myself going back again. But the food was edible!

Been to this location 3 times. Each time the quality of the food is horrible. Guaranteed soggy fries every time The meat yikes straight trash!Even the quesadilla was junk!Never coming here again 5 thumbs down for me on this location

This is the Bakers closest to my home and it's comfort food for sure but gotta have my vegetarian combo burrito and my Mr. Pibb

I usually love coming to this Bakers, the food is hot and I order the same thing like 95% of the time. Only like every handful of times is there a poor experience but this was one of those times. About 15 minutes ago I went through the drive -thru where a really jumpy-sounding employee took my order correctly but rushedly. Got to the window and paid only to have to refund it because the employee charged me for someone else's order and I told him my actual order and cost, and he correctly voided and charged me the appropriate amount for my meal. I got the food and it looked fine, once I got home and opened my bags to eat, it turns out the specific way I asked for my burgers was ignored. I specified 2 double bakers with cheese sub Mayo instead of the thousand island, but I got thousand island anyways on both, and one burger had only lettuce and one burger only tomato outside of the sauce, meat, and cheese. My fries were well done like I asked for (the only satisfying part of this meal sadly), I asked for lite ice in my drink but got like 10 little cubes that only kept the top of the large drink cold until they melted. Really frustrating to still have my meal messed up after making specific requests multiple times to clear up the order, I think I'll be taking a longer drive to the next nearest Baker's if I decided to give this burger chain a try again :/

0 stars if i could, service is slow as shit. went through the drive thru on my lunch, and sat in line for 25 minutes because of one persons order. When a customers order is taking too long, they should have that person drive to the front and wait for their food, to tend to the other customers instead of having 7 cars in line for almost 30 minutes waiting for 1 burrito. management do better with your staff. never giving my money to this location ever

The food was fresh you can tell because the cheese wasn't melted at all. Service needs help bad. The girl at the counter was really bad. The food was fast but definitely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Suck location is in a great location. Definetly will no be returning. My kids needed to use the restroom ask if we needed a key the girl forcefully responded in a rude tone. It was not crowded. Will not be returning. Have a 3 only because the food was actually good, fresh, and fast.

I love their fries. So crispy and fresh. Perfect taste, not too salty or bland. I enjoyed the pillo asado burrito. I personally think their fries are better than most other places

This is the slowest drive-thru i have ever gone to. I've given them multiple chances thinking it was just once, but it happens EVERY TIME.... Highly suggest for anyone on a time schedule to avoid this place at all costs. Plus their tacos are half filled so don't order those.

Love the food but they always forget an item. Today I ordered a side of tater tots and never got them. Too late to turn around and go back :(
