Baker's Drive-Thru

Years ago we really enjoyed this location. It would be a quick go to. But as the years have gone by the fries seem to get more stale and cold. The meat is a little on the al dente dry side, not as juicy tender as other locations. I think it would be an easy fix with staff to adjust the quality control of the food they're serving. Just a few tweaks here and there and she'll be good as new. Service is friendly. If they get the order wrong in the drive thru and you have to go inside they are quick to fix the issue. I appreciate the convenient location right off the 60 fwy Main Street exit. Easy to get in and on your way. Luv the red hot sauce with the spicy, vinegary tang. Their taco box deals are great for the fam. Lots of room for improvement then this location will be running like a champ. Fun fact: Since 1952, Baker's Drive Thru has been a cornerstone of the Inland Empire, thanks to Neal T. Baker. Opening his first modest hamburger stand on Highland Ave. in San Bernardino.

I have many friends from the IE who constantly claim that Baker's is the best fast food in Southern California. So on a recent trip out, I decided I had to check them out. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but I definitely wasn't wowed.First off, at this venue you order everything from a touchscreen. I wasn't even greeted by an employee. And when I struggled to figure out how to navigate the options, no one even offered to help me out. I spent way too much time trying to order just a basic burger combo & a burrito. Maybe it was just a learning curve. I'd imagine next time I would be able to get my order in more quickly.The food itself, like I mentioned above, was just fine. The burrito was by far the biggest disappointment. It had little to no flavor and I had to just douse it in hot sauce to even get through it. The burger itself was tasty & well cooked, but just wasn't anything special. But the biggest thing was none of the food was worth the price. It was way overpriced for what you get. I definitely felt like I paid too much by the time I was done eating.Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I really wanted my first Baker's experience to be just the basics. But if they can't wow me with the basics, I'm not sure how they would do on their more specialty items. In all, While I wouldn't say I won't return to Baker's, I definitely would rather go elsewhere for fast food in the IE.

I went to the location in Riverside @ 2221 Main Street.I was pretty disappointed. No casher only kiosk or a scan app option. I ordered a cheeseburger. The bun was cold the cheese was not melted. The fries cold they have a new coating which was not an improvement. The taco shell was cold and very small amount of shredded cheese. My drink had very little ice, so room temp lemonade, yuck. It was truly disappointing. I used to love going to Bakers. It was expensive for fast food. I don't mind paying a little more, but all around, expensive and quality was just not there, well, at least not at this location. I hope this change is not happening at all Bakers locations.

Baker's has went from one of my favorite places to eat to the worst place. My order is never correct and the quality gets worse every time. Nothing ever gets better. I ordered a beef burrito and instead I get a big combination burrito. The tacos suck. The hot sauce sucks. Everything sucks. I've came here since I was a kid, but I told my kids I will not come here again so don't even ask. This place is totally incompetent.

Service for this place was super slow and they food/prices wasn't bad, so i will give them that.

Came in Friday night 8/2/2024 and that heavy set girl in the drive thru so rude and no manners wow I was shocked! If you're not happy working there just quit your job ! Bakers off Tyler mall has way better customer service

Look, most bad reviews are upset about prices and the quality of the "hot" sauce. I get it. BUT these are things Bakers decides on, not this particular location. This location has the nicest people working there. I once got a free coffee because they accidentally spilled some. Today, the lady at the drive thru tried letting me order breakfast even though I was an hour late for it. It's also always clean and has a huge parking lot to eat in your car or meet up with motorcycle buddies (conveniently located across two gas stations). Bakers hires quality teammembers. I'll always enjoy coming here.

Arrived at 10:50pm tonight, drove up to the menu and seconds later was greeted with "It's gonna be a while before I get to you." Both my husband and I replied "okay, yeah no problem."A minute or 2 later, guy says "Welcome to Baker's we have LIMITED options what can I get started for you?" (Tone of his voice it was obvious he was irritated & unhappy about something, later I looked them up and see they were close to closing time, didn't realize/know it at the time. I'd like to add that there were 2 cars in front of us that just ordered and 2 cars pulled up behind us.)We said , OK no worries and proceeded to order our 2 meals. The guy then said something so fast, maybe repeating part the order, that I didn't quite catch all of what he said. So I played it safe and repeated the last item I just stated. And was insulted with major attitude along with a "UGH...Oh my god!". I looked at my husband and said this guy is super rude I don't want anything from here. Husband agreed and we pulled forward, waited for the 2 cars in front to finish and just drove through. We happily drove to Burger King, where at BK you can have it your way" (without the attitude of some guy who clearly dislikes his job). The employees of Burger King were so friendly and nice, even with it being late night they didn't make us feel any kind of way like this place. Happily to give someone who wants the business our business and repeated money. We will never be returning to this Baker's and definitely not recommending it to anyone. Baker's Drive thru guy is a major Jerk, take your money to another location without the attitude. It's just a drive through order bro, it's not that serious. What real A hole.

Kenny , Denise, Carly, Isabel, You guys make the best bakers food In all of inland Empire, you guys are awesome. Best customer service. I will go out of my way just to come to this Baker's. Thanks, again, guys. And I appreciate you giving some extra hot sauce to the family that we're going to visit out of town.

Where did the good fries go? These new ones taste terrible! Cheap like the ones Jack in The Box has! Yuck! Bring back the old ones!
