Decided to give this place a try. The Taco dorados (hard shell) with beef was delicious. This taco was loaded with meat and condiments. It was crispy perfection and a work of art. See photos on Yelp, I ate mine too fast.I also got a soft shell carne asada plate. It was good also. The beef was well seasoned. The rice and beans went down smooth. The customer service was friendly and service was quick.Highly recommend.

Stopped by with my family to celebrate a graduation here because I saw a video online that really hyped this place up. When I arrived I noticed the location was really empty, despite it being open already for a few hours. I did not question that at the time. At the time, the quietness only helped the ambiance. I placed all of orders and our orders started coming out one by one. Some plates took a little longer than others due to the difficulty of the dish, which is understandable. I got the carne asada plate which had carne asada, rice, beans, and a salad. I was not a fan of their rice and beans. I am used to my rice having a lot of flavor and this rice was unfortunately very lacking in flavor. The rice was white rice with carrots. The beans also had zero flavor. The carne asada was the only saving part of my dish. It was decent. My mom got the Molcajete and honestly the best part of her dish was only the spicy shrimp (Camarones a la Diabla). It was the only meat option that was full of flavor.Service wise, I was not a fan of all the upselling. I understand this is a for-profit business but the waitress kept offering all of the guests more expensive drink options the whole time, including bottled soda and alcoholic options. Of course my guests accepted and it only kept increasing our bill. I unfortunately would not be returning here again unless I was invited here by a family member for a special occasion.

Confession #1: I have issues normally with Mexican restaurants that look way too cute, are pricey, and have perfect decor. I do not expect the food to be very good.Confession #2: Boy, was I wrong. The only reason I was talked into eating here, a newish place open about 6 months ago, was that our nearby pizza joint was closed on Monday, something I had overlooked. And we were hungry. So my first revelation was, their freebie chips were amazing! They were so light, delicately salted, and fresh, I can not recall any better. The salsa, too, was excellent. Restraint is not my best suit when faced with such deliciousness. But, as much as we eat out, I really had a startling realization their prices could take our dinner bill to a higher level than I was willing. Even the simplest of dinner plates started in the mid $20 range and went into the $30 range. I nearly choked. I am used to the local, hole in the wall prices. Skip the "fancy".So, cheapskate me scanned the menu for something that I could accept as reasonable. Who needs to pay the extra $9 for a scoop of rice and beans anyway?I chose a carne asada quesadilla, a la carte. And I was richly rewarded. Mr. B ordered the shrimp mojo de ajo, as I feared but expected, and who was the recipiant of a wifely glare from me. Fortunately, we were both pleasantly surprised. The carne asada quesadilla was huge. I would have to say, there was enough meat filling to fill 4 beautiful tacos. Some lovely, sharp cheddar cheese held it all together. The flavors knocked my socks off. The scoop of delicious guacamole and sour cream were all I needed to swear this could easily be my go-to dish here with no regrets. The Shrimp Mojo de Ajo was a generous portion, rich with garlic and butter, and fresh tasting. The shrimp can be ordered either with the shell on or off. Wow, was it great! We had a sweet, attentive server, loved the atmosphere, mariachi background music, and gorgeous murals on the wall, and best of all, we each came home with great leftovers.I think we will be enthusiastically returning soon. Thanks for a great meal!

Been here a few times. Had breakfast this morning I got the huevos rancheros, soooo good. Love all the murals on wall. Really love the decor. The server was really attentive. And they make fresh squeezed orange juice.

The service was great, but we also had the restaurant to ourselves. The inside is styled nicely with custom wall mural and wood tables, a few booths. We came in on a Wednesday at 6 pm, saw one to-go order, and one couple came in after us. Not busy enough to last long, not many restaurants survive this location. The food was good, but as three Gringas who don't do spicy, I would call it a little bland. Even the salsa on the table with chips was mild. Looking back, I wish I had added salsa or got sauces. Chicken quesadilla: reported as good but not sure what odd orange / yellow color of the meat was. I suspect tumeric?Chicken Flautas plate: reported as good but was more like taquitos. They were cooked very hard and might have been corn, not flour tortillas. Served with rice and beans.3 Taco plate fish tacos: Tacos got soggy from the fish and split in the middle. Fish was lightly cooked, not breaded. Rice is cooked in broth, I think, has a chicken flavor (probably not vegetarian) it was very wet and light. The beans were good, also bland. Price including 2 soda came to $65.09 +tip. Total :$76.09The food was fresh and good but bland. Not what I'm used to as Mexican food. Prices are high for a strip mall restaurant. The average plate dinner is over $20. Not worth the price to me, I could have a burger basket taco plate or Miguel's Jr and be happier with less money. I'm not sure I'll go back.

Fish tacos were decent. Not bad. Governor taco were below par. Not the sauce I'm used to. Quesadilla was good. I'd get that again. Kids plate was a good size. Service was ok. Girl was new, training. Not going to hate on that, props for working!Ambiance was cool. New restaurant so new stuff. Overall. Prices seemed high. But what's not high now a days. If I go back it would be for the quesadilla.. no tacos.

First time coming here & everything was great The ambiance of the setting is a lot nicer in person than in the pictures. The furniture seems relatively new. The service was perfect! Adriana was our server & she was so nice & friendly. The food was also amazingly fresh. Yes, the prices may be a little higher than other places, but the quality & portions justifies it. Hardly finished half my enchiladas I also had flan and their fresh OJ. Everything was great!

I'm going to start with The food always tasting great! It really is. The bad though, the beans are spicy no matter what... we ordered another side of beans and told our waitress that the ones we got were spicy and she didn't care to tell us that they were spicy no matter what... so we got another side without the jalapeño for my kids and they were still spicy. Our waitress didn't care. Which leads me to another topic...The waitresses are terrrrrrrrrrible! We entered and were greeted with 3 sour puss faces and one "sit wherever you want" with a side of major attitude. Our waitress never smiled or was friendly at all. She seemed to be having a terrible day (or year). Then when my husband went to pay the total was $50 and he gave $100... the waitresses stalled for minutes and apparently the cash register wasn't working... then our waitressed rolled her eyes and sighed with attitude because she had to get the change out of her purse. Just seemed very unprofessional. Definitely WONT be coming back to that location, but will be going to the other one in Home Gardens, the staff there seems to appreciate their employment a bit more.
