Aztek Tacos

Wednesday, 12-17-2024: We came here as a party of five (our grandson with his mom & dad and us, Papa & Yaya) after our grandson's recital. It wasn't too crowded when we entered so I made sure to secure a table ASAP. It's a good thing I did because we had beat the crowd. The eatery is on the small side but it's very clean and the exposed ducting gives it an industrial feel.Our food came out quickly and we found everything to be so flavorful! My Chile Relleno was made well and I savored it! Their chips were very good and we enjoyed the variety of salsas from their salsa bar.The staff were very nice and friendly. We really enjoy their food and have been here in the past. I can't believe I didn't write a review before. This post is definitely overdue!

I had high hopes for Aztek Tacos, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. I ordered an asada burrito, which was decent, but I had to add rice, bringing the total cost to over $15--way too pricey for what it was. The tacos were okay, but nothing stood out flavor-wise, so I wouldn't call them impressive.The biggest disappointment was the chicken quesadilla. It was dry, lacked flavor, and cost nearly $16--definitely not worth it. On top of that, they serve hot food in Styrofoam containers for orders to go, which makes me uneasy. My fish taco was so hot it actually melted the container.For the price, I'd rather go to Chipotle. That alone says a lot about the quality-to-cost ratio here.

Hadn't been out this way to give this place a try but had read the reviews, on Yelp...of course! I made a reason to visit...day off, no breakfast items at home yada yada yadA.Great service, counter attendant, Taylor, was pleasant and help with questions readily. Needed the breakfast burrito with Chorizo. Sat down at well cleaned dining room and hit the salsa bar. It had a variety of salsas + radishes, onions and lime. Very well done and clean. Taylor, counter attendant, also brought out the food to our table and asked if we needed anything else, now this is good service for a taco shop.Food was excellent, I stuffed myself against by better judgement....ate that whole beast.Can't wait to come for lunch! Small portions. They charge $6 for such a small small small order of rice. People should be ashamed to even sell this.

Clean place. Friendly service. The food is pretty decent. My daughter enjoyed her burrito. I would come back if I'm craving tacos.

This used to be my tried and true for quick mexican food in Temecula. The past few visits I have noteably noticed a decline in experience and in food. Today, after $58 lunch for myself, my husband, and our toddler we will not be giving our business anymore. It's always been Insane to me that their carne asada burritos are at the price point they're at and only include meat, not rice and beans. Today, we asked if they had a kids bean and cheese burrito for my son, the lady at the register just responded "no" without offering any alternative, so instead we ordered a quesadilla that was very very small for the price point. We also ordered the beef taquitos, instead realized at home we were given chicken. Chicken was very bland and dry. Taquitos much like everything else lacked seasoning and flavor.So disappointing!

The aztec taco was delicious. The carne asada is actually and surprisingly good. The meat is cut in larger pieces and it retains the flavor and juiciness. The menudo was a bit on the bland side.

Stopped in for breakfast burrito but they didn't sell one I was looking for a bacon n sausage breakfast burrito. So I ended up getting a cali burrito and it was pleasantly good. Their salsa bar was good just wish they had carrots instead of grilled onions.

By far one of the top places to go to for Mexican food in Temecula. There's not very many places I like out this way, especially moving from SD area. There's a lot of good ones out there. My go to is tacos and burritos, They also have drinks for the 21+ crowd, Get you a yummy Michie and enjoy.

Horrible! Used to be go to spot in south Temecula. Since the owner stepped away the place has taken nose dive. Smaller portions and more expensive. The new staff can seem to care less.
