the food is bomb, the service is bomb, the decor and energy is bombI will say though, that although their location isn't hidden, the font of their sign wasn't super clear so when I was there the first time, it was sort of hard to spot. FOODI usually get their tom kha and red curry with skirt steak. Their food is traditional and modern at the same time! They also have options for spice levels which I appreciate because I get a mild or non spicy level and then ask for chili oil on the side to have with each bite (which I think is made in house because the little crunchies in the oil are like no other). The meat is always perfectly cooked and tender and the veggies are never mushy. The flavors in the dishes are amazing and I love that they have a happy hour menu for late night eaters like me. Only thing I wish they had was a combination seafood and meat option for their proteins. I would've loved to have my tom kha soup with some fish, mussels, chicken, and shrimp. But the chicken tom kha was delicious none the less. SERVICEEvery employee that I encountered was super friendly and had great options and advice on what to order with which meats. They also checked up on my table multiple times to make sure our food was great. I really appreciate an attentive server I always say that their way the employees treat the guests are a reflection of how they are treated as employees; which seems to be great. And when we are having conversation with the servers, it feels like genuine convo and not forced. They are also very responsive and quick with the meals! AMBIENCEI will say that this is not your average Thai restaurant. They serve alcohol which is perfect for their location in downtown Redlands, and they have live music (not sure if that's every day or just weekends). Sometimes it's a DJ and sometimes it's a live musician. Despite it being pretty loud in there, the music is tasteful and enjoyable. It's overall a great experience and the food is so delicious. This is for sure a must-try restaurant

Aroi Mak Mak? More like Aroi MORE MORE....as that is the only way I could describe the childlike jubilation I felt upon my return to this prestigious establishment. My proximity to Redlands and State St. had me growing jaded as the cuisine in the area grew ever increasingly bland and monotonous. This was, however, until my lover and I found Aroi Mak Mak, which quickly became a staple in our external eating excursions. The atmosphere, staff, and especially the divine consumables just exude passion and dedication. I once thought I had found the magnum opus of chicken sandwiches, until the spicy fried chicken sandwich from their menu lept from those laminated pages and deep into my gullet...a meaty mouthful I shan't let my tastebuds forget. Do yourself a favor, DON'T order the sandwich...ORDER TWO!!! Another fine poultry meeting the end of its days is well worth the flavorful double whammy of a meal you'd be ingesting. Top marks, Aroi Mak Mak, I will be inside you again soon.

Food: this has been a popular spot amongst my friends, their drinks are all very solid and the vibes are so cute. Came here last night with my boyfriend and another friend to catch up and hang out together. We ordered family style, crab fried rice was decent but I feel like I did not taste enough crab inside, red curry with fried tofu was also good and savory but not quiet as good as panang curry I had elsewhere, and khao soi noodles was good and satisfying too but I was not a fan with the pickled veggies mixed in. Golden triangle had a kick to it and was strong alcohol profile, I was nicely buzzed after just half the drink.Price: all three dishes and drink and tax and tip combined, it cost $87. If I remember correctly, each entree ranges usually $16-21, and pork belly protein is $3 extra.Ambiance: really cute with lots of colorful decorations on the walls and ceilings. There are tables/bars in the front section and another similar sized back section with more tables, past the restrooms. Great place for dates and friend hangouts!Servcie: great service, people taking our orders, especially the asian man who seemed like the manager, were all smiles and friendly and welcoming. He said the golden triangle was good and similar to old fashioned, and we liked the drink! No issues with getting our foods served, refilling our water, and getting our check laterParking: I usually park in the free outside lot right next to krak boba/shake shack strip, and walk over about 5 minutes to the restaurant. Did not have issue finding an available spot during weekday dinnertime

Little gem located in Downtown Redlands! The restaurant decor is vibrant and fun. Service was great. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive the whole time.Cocktails:Sorry Sorry Sorry 4/5 - Refreshing but also had a slight smokey taste to it. Great for mezcal lovers. Silk Saan 3/5 - They warned us that this drink was VERY spicy and indeed it was. There is serrano pepper in it. My fiancé likes spice so he enjoyed it. Food:Moo Thawt (Fried Pork Belly) 4.5/5- The pork was fried perfectly and so good paired with the sticky rice. The garlic fish sauce was delicious and cut some of the fattiness from the pork belly.Khao Soi (Curry noodles) 4/5 - Deep rich flavor. Noodles had a nice texture. You can add whatever protein you like. I chose ground pork. Tom Kha Soup 4.5/5 - Very creamy. We added chicken as a protein. I like that there were big chunks of chicken and mushrooms in it.

Amazing food, vibes, and drinks! I highly suggest getting their Morning Glory appetizer, their house sauce is out of this world. I did have an eye for gluttony when I was ordering, so for three of us we got the morning glory, tom kha soup, fried mushrooms, crab fried rice, pad thai, and khao soi. Everything was well worth it here! I was in utter shock at the quality.I did sit in the back room, so the service was a little slow, but the food definitely made up for it!

Cool drinks, nice decor and service that stays open late! Food was good but fell short in a few minor areas. Honestly, the staff here are awesome so it pains me to give a 4 star. For service, definitely a 5! Cocktails:Bang Ra Chan 9/10 I loved this cocktail and my friends who tried it agreed that it was good! Such a nice mix of sweet, aromatic, and a subtle mix of hard liquors made this a winner. I adore the use of kaffir leaf and passion fruit. Very refreshing. Sorry, sorry, sorry 6/10Friend ordered this one and didn't seem to like it much. Presentation is really cool with it being in an Asian style bowl, but i think it's largely preference on the taste. Mezcal lovers will enjoy it!! Khao Soi (Chicken Thigh) 8/10 A solid iteration of this classic. I didn't have anything particularly good or bad to say but it hit the spot for me. Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) 5/10I think this is where the menu fell short. Thin noodles were used instead of the usual wide rice noodles. The flavor profile felt off, though the spice was strong and good at the "very spicy" level, which was one tier below "Thai spicy". Deep-fried mushrooms 5/10 I had high hopes for these, but they were cold when served due to being thin and left out perhaps. Despite being oyster mushrooms, they felt very thin and dry. Garlic aioli did not have much flavor. Not worth the 12.99 or so Overall I'd still come back, for the drinks, fun decor, and great service!

We came here because my husband just want me to decide without taking too much time researching the place. I made the decision after seeing 500+ reviews of 4.5 stars. Unfortunately, I don't agree with this rating..The place, ambiance, decoration, & service, YES! They deserve 5 stars. We came with no reservation around 7pm and was told to wait for 20-30 mnts. Fortunately, we were seated only after waiting for less than 5 minutes.Everyone was so helpful, sweet with lots of smile when serving us. The place is decorated so cute & creative. Very IG photo worthy!Unfortunately, I can't give the same rating for their food. We ordered crab fried rice. For $20+ the portion was a bit small. Not only that, it was super lack of flavor. Need salt or what ever else it needs. The taste was just not there. Very bland. The other dish we had was pork belly pad see ewe. Please see the picture.. All I an say is this place is not original Thai. That noodle is not Pad See Ewe noodle! More of Pad Thai noodle. And it was not sweet at all!! It tasted okay, not great. And since I was expecting Pad See Ewe, I was disappointed. The one thing that salvage it was the chilly. They gave me 3 options; Chilly oil, chopped pickled green chilly, & spicy soy sauce. All are spicy and good! So I just doused my noodle with them.We ordered Thai tea. It tasted different, but in a good way. maybe due to the milk they use (I think almond and coconut? I forget). Anyway.. if you're looking for authentic Thai, then skip it. But if you don't mind eating "some type" of asian food, then go ahead. One thing I need to mentioned, when we were there, 99% of the guests were not Asian. So... that's it..
