There are two lines - one for in-person dining and another for the to-go bakery! The to-go line went pretty quick: we stopped by for a slice of apple pie. It was absolutely delicious - loads of apple, not too sweat. I only wish there were more crust. But sad that we didn't get an entire pie.The parking lot is busy for sure - lots of spots, but also very crowded. There is side street parking as well though.

Came here for breakfast with my large family (15). The restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. The waitress was patience with us being a large party with plenty of kids. Seated in our own area which I appreciated. The food was as expected for breakfast. The portions are plenty so beware. I should have shared. The ambiance is cozy, though being a designer by trade, I saw plenty of repairs that are needed. It misses the fifth star due to the waitress going missing when we were done. We wanted to pay and she was nowhere to be found.

I finally made it. I wanted to see for myself what the hype was about. Well it was a Great Experience. Gavin aka the man, the myth the legend. He assisted our awesome waitress, Leah. The service was on point. They both made a good team, making sure we were taken care of. Leah made some great recommendations. - Fish and chips. Wow- Chili in a bowl- Turkey club (huge)- Brisk sandwichFor desert we had a couple of items from the bakery side. I met Marla manager. She was very nice too. But just be ware of the grumpy hostess. Victoria I think. Not cool. She needs a chill pill.

My review is for the bakery. I've been here twice this month. The bakery is attached to the restaurant and there's a separate door you can enter to order. The vibe is a small town feel, rustic, and family oriented. The first time I was here around 9:00am (no line) and ordered an Old Fashioned Apple Pie ($24.85) and some brownies with walnuts. The person helping me seemed rushed and wasn't too friendly when I asked a couple questions and told her it was my first time here. My total came out to $34.70. The pie was good, but I was expecting it to be better. The edges of the crust were burnt, but other than that we enjoyed it. The brownies were also good. The following weekend, I came here with my mom. This time we got friendly customer service and ordered a whole French Crumb Apple pie ($24.85) and a giant cookie for my husband. My total came out to $35.97.I gave some slices of pie for my mom to take home. The pie this time around was not good. The slices of apple inside were large and hard, the crust was super dry and the pie overall was not flavorful. I followed up with my mom to see how she liked it and unfortunately her feedback was it was very dry as well. She said she still had an apple pie craving and went to Marie Callender's for one. There were still about two slices left and neither my husband nor I wanted to eat anymore of it so had to toss it. I'm not sure what happened with this pie, but it was a flop. The giant cookie was pretty good.

My +1 and I make a point to stop by this place whenever we can make it during apple season. To be honest, we remember the place before the overhaul, and initially didn't care for the overhaul of the whole Oak Tree Village, but we've since come to appreciate it.It's important to know that the place is a combination of bakery and restaurant, with separate entrances for each. The lines to get into each one can be confusing because the restaurant line usually ends around or overlaps into the bakery line.As for the line, it usually moves relatively quickly. Usually. We had a couple of groups with 10-13 people in them ahead of us, which gummed things up. Especially for a Saturday evening. Not their fault, though. The staff was able to accommodate and keep things moving. We got seated outside (which we preferred) and already knew what we wanted. My +1 got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, which was full of flavor. I ordered the mountain burger, and was able to order it with an extra patty (for an extra 5.99) and it was pricey, but was pretty hearty and it hit the spot. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my little and it came with seasoned fries (like the rest of the food) so we had plenty to eat. They also have an assortment of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, including apple wines and hard ciders, to wash your meal down with.Of course we couldn't forget dessert. We all shared a big slice of fresh apple pie, and it was pretty amazing. They topped it generously with vanilla ice cream, and it was enough for the 3 of us.Service was fine, and the food really hit the spot after a day of hiking and apple picking. Yeah it's a bit pricey, but it's to be expected in Oak Glen. The place lost a little of its country rustic charm (think Cracker Barrel) since the renovations that turned it more cookie-cutter Instagram industrial, but the food improved and so did the service. We'll be back next season, if not sooner!

Decent food with large portions but expect a long wait time especially around lunch time on the weekends. They were unfortunately all out of their famous chicken pot pie but we got a cheeseburger and the kids chicken tenders to split along with a slice of apple pie. We also got a root beer float and an apple cider float. The apple pie and the apple cider float were a bit disappointing. Service was a bit slow but I think a large reason for that is how busy they are. Also didn't love the way they seated parties - you have to physically wait in line and they go party by party rather than seeing if there are any smaller groups to fit into seats available which can make the wait time longer for parties of 2.

I don't think I will ever look at apple pie the same! This by far beat any apple pie we have ever tried in our existence. Rarely anything makes me shut up but since the first spoonful I was speechless. The apple pie slice with ice cream was the perfect size to share. Currently having withdrawals just thinking about this.I would def drive 2 hours again just to eat this pie again !

The location is beautiful and the restaurant is super cute. We sat outside on the covered deck over looking gorgeous views of the mountains. Only downside to that were a lot of yellow jackets flying around and harassing people while they were eating. I ordered the roast beef dip, my boyfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both came out freshly made. They both were tasty and reasonably portioned. The freshly made apple cider was good and refreshing. Servers were all very nice and efficient. It's a popular spot so there was quite a bit of wait for our food to come out which certainly wasn't the server's fault or anyone's actually. It was just a busy lunch time hour and a popular place to eat at during this time of year. I believe we waited close to 2 hours total time spent at the restaurant. Approximately 30 mins to be seated and then 1.5 hours before our food was delivered. So come knowing there could be a long wait time on the weekend.

I've been in this area for about three years now, but never had the opportunity to go to Apple Annie's. The service was great, we were seated right away, Drinks come soon after. Had our appetizer of onion rings that were done to perfection right away and the food came shortly after. The sourdough chili bowl is enough for two people maybe even three, pulled pork was really very good and the fries were exceptional, the French dip had an abundant amount of beef and the apple coleslaw was really good. I expected it to be more expensive, but it was actually very competitive with anywhere else that I've been so I'm sure we'll be back to try some more.

Love, love, love the pies here. We drive all the way to Oak Glen for them and have been for years. Service is great, the gals who work here are very sweet. I've tried most everything there and it doesn't disappoint. Sometimes the line can be long (which isn't a bad thing because it shows the love for the pies), but it moves pretty fast as you pass through. Bring a heavy jacket and a beanie if you go during winter! This place is outstanding.
