Amy's Cafe

We were unfamiliar with it, but stopped by Amy's because it was near my daughter's house and near the freeway to head home. I'm so glad we took the chance! This is a small establishment next to a motel (wasn't too excited for that, thinking it would be crowded). The parking lot is very small with small parking spaces. The inside is homey and seemed to be filled with locals not motel guests. We were seated immediately with drink and food orders taken soon after. There were five of us but the food still came out quickly. I ordered my standard biscuit and gravy breakfast which is definitely not their specialty. Later I saw that they offered menudo but I didn't see it on the menu and I was sad because I would rather have had that. Oh well, I'll need to come back. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the food. Lunch is served all day and the Parmesan burger was really good. They have hot sauce on the table but also offer a trio of salsas for your food and they were all really good. I recommend Amy's; it isn't fancy at all but offers good satisfying food!

Usually come here for breakfast since the omelettes are very nice portions and reasonably priced. (And the service is always A+)Decided to pop in for lunch the other day and tried the two taco plate with a chicken enchilada on the side. Two taco plate came with chips and salsa - you can tell the chips are made in house, Salsa is very tasty.Tacos were well madeChicken enchilada was the star, very well made. Can't go wrong with this place.

Wowza. This little place packs a punch in the food department. I used yelp of course to locate it and it's a very small diner along Magnolia Boulevard in Riverside . All the reviews are amazing and mine will be the same. The portions were large. I generally get chicken fried steak when I'm out to breakfast and I know that I'm never gonna eat the whole thing and this was no exception. Over medium eggs, perfectly cooked. Chicken fried steak, a generous portion with a really tasty gravy no flour taste in it had added pepper delicious. The hash browns were in a log formation and thick - not super crispy and stringy. I also had sourdough toast and a cup of coffee, which I don't normally drink, but their coffee was really good too! From the moment I walked in the door the servers were attentive and quick and friendly, everything I look for in a server at a restaurant. Humorous and funny. The price for my meal ran around 15 bucks and the coffee was additional on top of that. Super good price for the quality of this place that seems to be a hidden gem in Riverside! Kudos Amy's!!(They also seem to have some great Mexican options. There were lot of people after me and around ordering enchiladas and things like that - Viva)

My son had a doctor appointment at Kaiser and we were both hungry after getting out and I thought to myself, we haven't been to Amy's since he was little, why not go today? So we stopped by. I'm so glad we did because the food was delicious! I love they have breakfast, lunch, dinner all day! I decided to get a chile verde omelette with home fries (they don't come with bell peppers & onions, but can add for added charge) and you get another side item, so I went with the dollar pancakes. The omelette and home fries are huge and you get all of it for about $16. I ate half and had the leftovers the next day. My son got the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy. It was also huge and he was able to get two meals out of it. I do wish it came with some sort of veggie though. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We're going to start coming here more often. Great little spot with delicious diner food.

Tried the place for a pancake take out order, service was good, the place looks nice, will try it for breakfast next time. The pancakes were so fresh and delicious.

Best skillets in the area! Always spotted this cafe growing up but finally decided to give it a few try's. It's a cute little diner located in a motel parking lot. Lots of regulars come in and the service is always great. No complaints at all. A big fan of their skillets as 2/3 times I've been here they've been huge! It's such a large selection on their menus and reasonably priced too. I love adding the French toast as a side. Their French toast is really solid and everything I expect in a French toast. People in my party also love the dollar pancakes. Overall, this is a solid breakfast place with lots of variety and consistent service, I'll be coming back often

Food was good and I enjoyed the ambience as well. Highly recommend this little hidden gem!

*BEWARE OF DISCRIMINATION: We've been coming here for about 2years, food is good and the "waitresses" are friendly but NOT Veronica THE OWNER she DISCRIMINATES, well to our family, maybe it was the Trump hat or the Christian apparel we wear that causes her to be RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, goes out of her way to ignore us and when it's up to her she makes us WAIT to be seated! After 2 years you'd think we'd have better customer service than the service Veronica gives us! So if you do come here DON'T WEAR ANYTHING CHRISTIAN APPAREL or TRUMP GEAR if you don't want to be discriminated against by Veronica!
