Alex's Tacos

Today on my never-ending quest for tacos I stopped here at Alex's. I got a 3 Taco combo comes with rice and beans. For the meats I got Carnitas, asada, and chicken. Arriving at 1:30pm admittedly, after a lunch rush and prep. The rice and the beans were fantastic! I need to come back when the meat is fresh. You tell us has been in the bins for a little bit too long as it was a bit dried out. I know that I'm keeping overhead low sometimes meat has to last longer than you should.

So I came last night Saturday 7/15/2025 , at 7:05 and it was closed I had drove 30 min just for it to be closed so unprofessional online and yelp hours said till 8 not only did I have a pregnant gf with me but over this was just disappointing I would always go to the Pomona one but given that I live now on the far east side of both locations the closest one is this one in Fontana I think you guys should really fix your hours and quit with the false advertising this literally made me not even want to come here and support the local business anymore I definitely won't be returning here

The lady at the register was cold , not welcoming . She seems annoyed that I didn't know the difference between asada taco and birrrira . I asked for asada birriria , her demeanor wasn't pleasant . I won't return. The service was lacking , the asada meat was so dry and the birirria didn't have flavor . No outdoor seatings , no waitstaff , order at the counter , dining area Mmďf is decorated with a traditional Mexican style with sombrero hats and colorful wall arts .

I came to try their birria tacos, and they're so delicious. We got Birria de Chivo (goat), and it was delicious. Great customer service.

The birria de de chivo was delicious! Loved their consumé especially because it was super meaty and hearty. The taco shell had a nice crisp and crunch to it. Also tried the carne asada fries. I thought the carne was just OK but overall it came with a lot of toppings and the portion was generous. Super friendly staff! This was the best part. They were very accommodating to me and the other guests.

Food is average at best. Lady at the register is rude. Hardly any business, which says a lot. Looking for birria tacos dorado, go somewhere else.

Food was good, a bit pricey. My problem was my son ordered a Choco milk and I ordered a Michalada . Food came out first and half way through, I asked about our drinks. The lady said they were coming. I asked for a cup of water until drinks came. We finished eating and our mouths were dry and hot from the salsa . No water or drinks were delivered. So I asked for a refund on drinks , which still were not made. I'm glad we had a water bottle in the car. A improvement would be for this place to serve drinks first or with the meal

La señora Otilia, pesimo caracter, primero se puso a hacerme sentir, como que si iba yo a robar, contexto, hize ONLINE ORDER, llegue y pregunte, y ella horriblemente me acusa de que no SABE como hize la orden si su maquina no sirve, le mostre orden, y el cargo, y ella solo dice PUES NO SE COMO, aqui no tengo nada, hasta que salio muy amavle el cocinero y mientras la señora se fue atras a averiguar si yo estaba mintiendo. Hablando a la dueña, quien efevtivamente, confirmo que yo hize orden y jo era mi culpa que si maquina no sirviera.Sinpueden mejor evitense el mal momento aqui.

Good prices , burritos are very good and pretty big for 10$ recommend this place my first time being here , im from Vegas
