Alexa’s Cafe Mexican Grill

Had breakfast there recently and I had mentioned to waitress when I walked in that I was in a hurry. She out in my order for 3 eggs, hash, coffee, and toast and it was out in minutes. The entire order was on point. Would go back for sure.

Second time coming here food was amazing. The shrimp was overcooked, but they did give me a new batch after I told him about it wasn't a big fan of the fish and shrimp taco still pretty good. He has a good vibe good atmosphere and the service is good love that they kept coming to us and telling us if we're OK love that service.

Went with family, ordered three meals that were extremely generous portions. We all agree that we would definitely come here again to try other plates. The chilaquiles with green salsa were a good sour and fried right. Carne Asada fries had a nice palate, the meat was neither soggy or too dry. The sausage and eggs were simple yet delicious, the sausage has a similar flavor of your typical breakfast sausage but crispy and spicy. Service was fairly decent and friendly.

Cute Mexican restaurant in ColtonSaturday evening dinner ... I got the carnitas Torta delicious. Carnitas cooked perfectly and juicy. Hubby got Surf and Turf burrito. Shrimp cooked delicious not overcooked. Steak cooked tender and juicy. Chicken flautas were excellent my daughter couldn't stop doing the happy dance in her chair. Last dish was my daughter's Steak Fajitas. The steak was cooked amazing the vegetables (onions & bell peppers) we superb. We will definitely come back during the week for their weekly specials. Nice spot in Colton.

1. Food is great!! As you can see in pictures. The carne ranchero is the dish I had and it was excellent. Definitely more food than I could handle in one sitting. I had to take the rest in a to go box. My husband ordered the chile verde burrito (pork). I had a bite. It was good. My two daughters (4 & 5 yrs) shared a combo breakfast. They had French toast, eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. I tried a potato and they were yummy. Oh also, their corn tortillas are amazing!! And you can ask for spicier salsa if you'd like. 2. As far as service, I didn't realize you had to be seated to be served. Unless ordering to go. Not a big deal. They seemed pretty busy. We went on a Saturday around 12:45. Our server was very nice and helpful though. So that definitely helped with our overall experience. I would say they had good customer service! 3. Ambiance- you and your family can eat here for a nice sit down meal for sure. One thing I will say is I'm not sure if their air was working efficiently but it did seem a bit warm/ stuffy. Not so horrible we couldn't completely enjoy our meal there though. If you have young kids they will be fine here to. Restrooms were pretty dirty, but I kind of expected that. Not a huge ding.Overall, we definitely liked it here. We will come back again and recommend for anyone looking for good Mexican food in the Inland Empire.

My husband and I were craving a wet burrito and we came here. I am so happy we did!! Burritos were huge and delicious. Their agua Fresca was good too. I told my parents about it and they went in and tried the fajitas and they said those were amazing as well! I would definitely recommend them if you want great tasting food!

Have been seeing posts on Facebook and is almost in my backyard, so we down today for breakfast. Small little storefront in a shopping plaza on Mt Vernon. The FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. I had the chorizo skillet, so tastee, and abundance of food. My wife had 3 eggs and French toast... She loved it. Good service and prices were very reasonable. We will be going back soon.

Seen advertisements on TikTok & decided to try it..the food looks just like their advertisement. The best part is eating the food, it's so good & portion size is pretty good. You can tell they took their time cooking your food. The meat is flavorful & has that nice char to it. The rice tastes so delicious, true authentic rice...the guacamole is also freshly made...the salsa is also good..I also got a fresh strawberry lime lemonade which is really good. Customer service was nice but you can tell they just opened & still learning the end & outs. The prices are responsible & not expensive. I will definitely be back!!

Food was delicious! Restaurant was clean and well lit. The portions were generous. We had the Friday Special which was carne asada with 5 fried shrimp and tortillas. Definitely coming back!!

Ordered carne asada Watched as the microwave was used to cook individual items. Server still hadn't brought me my drink. Chips and salsa served at table was delicious. Wait for food was interestingly long considering most of the food was in the microwave. Don't mind waiting if cooked properly. Had asked for medium on the steak. Got shoe leather well done. Onions and peppers all over the place on cooked. The plate looked beautiful. Beans were drab, no flavor to over microwaved rice. No flavor to steak. I was the only one there. Decor is cute, in a crazy busy mall. Will try one more time, if they don't shut down first.
