11/9/24 "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world. she walks into mine"1942 Casablanca. My thoughts wander to what Humphrey Bogart says about Ingrid Bergman. Of all the places to find THE sofas we've been looking for, this is where we found ours. In a nondescript plaza a few minutes from home, this is where we ended up buying ours. Go figure.After visiting the bigger name brand places (Jerome's, Ethan Allen, Ashley, Living Spaces, even Ikea out of sheer desperation) didn't pan out, I was losing hope. We must've passed by this store a few dozen times. A couple of months ago, I noticed it & just told Hubby to stop by, "what's the harm when we've looked just about everywhere else?"The one person who was very friendly & accommodating (whose name I have already forgotten because it's been a while) made the best pitch-- she simply made great recommendations & we were sold. She was easy going yet very forthcoming. She provided swatches for the colors informed us that it possibly take 1-2 weeks to be delivered. In about 10 days, she called my husband saying the furniture was ready-we opted to pick up vs paying $50 delivery fee. In hindsight we should've chosen that path but we weren't sure if we would've been home at the time of delivery. Hubby rented a truck & unloaded it all by himself. All in all, we are loving our selection. Comfortable & the pricing was reasonable. The furniture store is surprisingly massive inside with plenty of inventory to choose from, We would definitely return when in need of more furnishings in the future.

Walked in, no greetings until I was half way into the store. I asked politely if I could use there restroom and was ultimately declined in such a rude way by both ladies "working there I guess". Didn't apologize just straight up said NO! And continued with her eating on one of the showroom sets.

STOP..DO NOT GO HERE. i will Never ever buy from here We checked the mattress at the time of purchase first, and it didn't feel hard.worse night of sleep ever woke up with a backache, and hips felt like they slept on cement. We also when we got there. Told the lady our situation . RUDE. RUDE..

Let me tell you.. STOP here and move on.. I should've read the comments first but I always give companies the benefit of the doubt because we are all in business and always see negative reviews without hearing the full truth. I placed this order in September first week, and I understand with Covid alot of things have been put on hold. Today , we got our furniture finally ME following up every week ( no communication from them at all) today they deliver , missing bottom pieces , scratched my flors because we didn't know there was missing pieces on the bottom. There is a rip in the couch , I call Alex and he tells me its fine , he'll give me foam pillows and a gift. I don't want a fkn gift guy I want the furniture I order over 2 months ago... I said give me my deposit and take ur shit. I gave you my business order 4k in furniture because we just moved to this area!! Go elsewhere

Huge selection!! The prices here are way better than any of the big name furniture stores. This furniture store has a lot to choose from and something for everyone.Whether you're looking for a mattress, sofa, recliner, living room table or sectional, Alex Furniture has it all.The people here are very friendly and you don't get any of those pushy salespeople hawking over you.

I will never go back to this place.We where loyal customers and on the third trip they sold us bar stools that where to tall, the delivery driver said they needed to leave them that if we wanted to return them we could, when we took them Back to the store the sales lady was very rude saying that we could not return them after talking to their boss lady they took them back and made us pay a restocking fee saying that they would loose money.I thought that was bad being that we had bought there 2 times before but I said ok it's business I can understand that. Long story short we returned 3 barstools bought 3 different ones and paid a restocking fee When I went to pick up the new barstools they where selling the 3 we had returned at a higher price than we had originally paid for them.They need better customer service so for this I give them 2 stars.

Horrible service will never use them again. Delivered my daughter's bedroom set 3 months after they said, and then didn't complete the installation because they had to leave. Left all the boxes.. Wont be buying from them again the worst experience with the owner Alex and his wife..

***DON'T SHOP HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY***What a joke of a place!..I really hope this places gets such bad business reviews that they finally close down.They are great when you walk in to buy. As soon as there is a problem their customer service is horrible. They stop answering your calls and refuse to help in any way.

I wish I had come to Yelp to read these reviews before I made my purchase at this furniture store, had I known there were others before me who had such similar ridiculous experience, I would have NEVER stepped foot in this place. The owner failed to meet the negotiations upon delivery and we were left with a missing furniture piece for over a month. In the meanwhile, instead of treating us with decency, they continuously lied to us that the missing item was on its way, when in reality they never had it in stock. Upon wasting hours with multiple visits at this store they finally admitted that it does not exist & that we can get something else instead. The renegotiated item resulted in an additional payment from us and the delivery took 2 more weeks, when they said it would be there in 3 days. Honestly Alex, (if you ever read this) if you don't know when an item will arrive, don't say anything at all. You'd imagine someone who's been in this business this long would hold himself accountable and be responsible of such mishaps. But Alex lacks professionalism and clearly only cares about the money you're about to spend. Save yourself the headache and drama, don't buy your furniture from this place. Your home is your sanctuary & a place that you come to find peace, getting the furniture to fill the rooms should not bring this much stress and resentment. I really don't know how Alex & Patricia go to sleep every night being fully aware that they live such a dishonest life. Ps. Delivery may be free, but due to the obvious lack of professionalism, our newly painted walls were damaged along with our new floors scratched AND they left all the cardboard trash of the items in front of the house... I'm still speechless of the disrespectful behavior.

I purchased a dining room set and a queen bedroom set with mattress and box spring in 11/2023. I paid for delivery. They delivered the wrong height box spring and they argued with me that I would have to pay for pick up and delivery of the one I ordered. I told them it was not my mistake but theirs, so finally they agreed.Now it is nine months later and the mattress is seriously sagging on one side. I was told at time of purchase 10 year warranty, now they are saying different. However it hasn't even been one year and horrible customer service. I was told I have to cover in plastic and find someone to return it to the store or pay them again for pickup. I spent a lot in that store to be treated so rudely. I was asked to take pictures and the lady said she could see there was a serious problem. I asked for the owner's number and she said no, she was telling me what the owner told her to tell me. Wish I could give no star for lack of professionalism with consumer.PLEASE DON'T SHOP HERE.I will try to report to BBB or Consumer Protection Agency!
