951 Event Center

8/25 we held a celebration of life luncheon for our dad. We had never been here before and didn't know anyone who had but we saw other yelp reviews for a memorial luncheon and we went ahead and booked. Lupe and the staff here were so accommodating, the customer service was 5 star hands down! We had plenty of room for 100 of our close friends and family, more than we planned and Lupe and her staff immediately set up more seating and tables. The sound system was great for our speeches and the food was delicious! Thank you Lupe for helping us celebrate our sweet dad and for all you did to make our experience wonderful. We appreciate you and would celebrate with you again or refer local friends and family.

Rude ass staff, will probably ruin whatever party you have. Most have attitudes and didn't even put my center pieces like they said they would.

I loved this place from day one Lupe help me with a beautiful memories of my wedding day , food was amazing , my guest 200 people were served with such a delight felt so welcome, Beautiful settings from lights, table cloths plate settings Just made my wedding a beautiful blessed day Plus the cost of the rental was awesome Away be special in my heart with memories of my beautiful special day

The coordinator here Lupe is amazing always catering to your every need to make sure your event is exactly what your looking for. She is so friendly you feel like family. Place is a great size for 100+ guests or as is my particular occasion 150 guests worked out great with room to still move around freely and still room for a small dance area. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have an event or party.Lupe and her team, work to make your event amazing !!

Threw a party for my daughters 18 bday and high school graduation.. Was way worth the price! Lupe was very professional and helpful before the event. My family and friends were very happy with the decorations and the food. There was zero complaints of the food. Food was great. If you want a party where you don't have to worry about anything but having a good time than this is your place. The only work we did was the center piece and the candy table . You really don't need the center piece because it was decorated so well. I wish I had more stars to hit but they only gave me 5! My next party will definitely be here

I don't recommend having a wedding reception here. Lupe the coordinator is not very organized and she made multiple excuses for her mess ups on the day of. When we first met and started making arrangements for the big day she promised a lot of things that she didn't do the day of the wedding. Air conditioner being one of them. She didn't turn on the air in a enough time to cool off the building before our guest arrived. During the reception she turned off the air and when asked about it she claimed "someone must have turned off the air" after multiple complaints throughout the night she finally started to bring other fans in to try and cool off our guest. I was promised a total of four servers to serve our guest because I paid for the four servers, but I only received two. The two servers didn't serve all our guest. A lot of our guest were missed or had to go up and asked to be served because they completely got missed. I over paid for food, so we wouldn't run out of food, but somehow we still ran out of food. At the point where we ran out of food not all guests were served yet. The food quality, taste and look is not the same as when you go for your food tasting in the restaurant. The food didn't taste well and the portions were smaller than what we agreed upon. I paid extra for drink tickets and the day of the wedding Lupe tried to give us less than what we paid for thinking we weren't going to remember. I am really disappointed in my over all experience with this hall and the coordinator Lupe.

I can't say enough about Lupe and her staff. We had my Dads celebration of life here, and she went above and beyond to make this day easy and perfect for us! The food was great, the service was above and beyond! If you are debating having something here, book it, you won't regret it!!

I just recently got engaged and still early in the process of making a decision for a venue. I've see so many great reviews of 951 event center and thought I would call. I called one night around 6:10pm and online it said they close at 7pm. I figured I had time to reach someone. No one answered so I called the following day right at 10am and it went straight to voicemail. The Voicemail states you will get a call back within 24hrs. So instead I received a text message saying "Sorry we missed your call. Here is our pricing sheet for events at the banquet hall." And a screenshot with the pricing info. I'm all about communication but a phone call would have been nice or an invitation to look at the venue. However, Indie was able to answer some of my questions and I appreciate it. I didn't get Indies name until we were a few text messages in the conversation. This is my first wedding and first impressions are important to me. This may not seem like a big deal to other people but it just seemed like "Here's the menu let me know what you want type of feel" (if that makes sense) Food for thought.

Wow, Lupe and her team were absolutely amazing for my wedding in October. Her professionalism and the ways she produces your vision, will make me a forever consumer of her services. The decor, the food, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Thank you so much Lupe for making our day so special. You're amazing.

Had our daughter's Sweet 16 here and Lupe, the owner/hall coordinator is soooo parient and straight forward. Her communication level is fantastic. There's no hidden fees and gives you enough for your venue. She has great rates that practically include everything allowing your planning to be stress free. The only thing we brought was the music, photo booth, photographer/videographer, cake & candy table. Their food is made fresh, made from her restaurant right next door in same building!! We were very pleased with their service. If I ever need a hall this hall is it. Thank you Lupe & crew you all are wonderful!
