It's time to do a review. Been here many times now.Upon walking in it's weird sometimes. You have to make yourself known that you're there from then to acknowledge you. Does the service get better after? Well... that all depends on if the sky is blue and if you know your zodiac sign so an asparagus lol.Service is really a hit or miss.Decor and atmosphere? Old, needs remodeling.Paint peeling, old chairs, bad flooring etc.So does the food make up for it? Yes.The food definitely makes up for it and I'll tell you why.Fresh ingredients. Proper amount of portions.Great bagels! definitely check it out.

Only reason why I still come here is because it is the only bagel shop in town.. But we walked in today and wanted to order the pizza bagel (like normal). We were informed we can only order the pizza bagel now with door dash because it takes 15-20 mins.. No option to wait (which I would) only option is to order online... I think this is stupid. I don't use door dash and I'm standing right here. Food is good but will someone please open a bagel place in Riverisde.. Stars are only for the food but lost some after today.

5th Ave. Bagelry, at 1210 Magnolia Ave. Suite 101 in Corona, was inspected Aug. 18 and received a failing grade of 80/B. There was one critical violation, for food-contact surfaces not being clean: The person in charge thought a pile of dirty plastic bowls on the food-prep table were clean enough to use, and dishes weren't being washed properly. Among the 11 other violations, there were numerous flies landing on food and food equipment, several employees didn't wash hands correctly, some food was at unsafe temperatures and the person in charge said knives used to cut bagel sandwiches are washed only once a day (every four hours is required)

Yummy bagels and sandwiches. They had a good variety of bagels. The veggie bagel was amazing!

This spot is a little family owned business. their main focus is obviously the bagels. they did have a wide variety but I wasn't really into how pale and artificial the flavored bagels looked. the teas here are delicious. I'd come again just because bagels in this area are hard to come by. friendly service and plenty of parking.

NASTY! Are bagels were undercooked and raw on the inside, the strawberry banana smoothie was disgusting. I'm not even sure what it's made of. Never again.

Breakfast bagel with tapatio, jalepeno cheese bagel was great, they even have a cinnamon bagel you can just eat out of the bag. Popular spot so get there early! I will be returning

Ok, so I have been here a handful of times and dealt with the horrible service because like others said, it is the only Bagel Place around. So, I went in today because I was in the area and craving a bagel, and this will definitely be my last time! Last time I was there my bagel was hardly toasted and seemed a little uncooked in the middle so I saw they had a NEW sign (see attached photos) that said they do not recommend the bagel being double toasted but will happily double toast but warned they will not replace or refund if overcooked. So I was ok with that. I proceeded to order my Works bagel double toasted with cream cheese and the asian lady with the sparkly hat and pony tail said they don't double toast bagels. Which I proceeded to point out her sign and she insisted nope we will not with a very mean and cold NO! then proceeded to completely ignore my order and try to take the next persons order. I was already there so I was going to take it "regular" toasted and make this my last visit. so I told her I still want the bagel and she very rudely said "how are you paying" I said with a card, she said .75 cents fee. ofourse fine whatever. It is what it is at this point. She was just trying to get rid of me at this point. At check out, I asked her if she was the owner, and she said no it was her uncle, I asked if I could have his contact info and she said "no" and walked away from me. I am a business owner myself and the audacity of this person and her uncle for allowing her to treat her customers this way is horrible. Also, this time the bagel was definitely not as good as before, tasted dry, like a day old bagel. BEWARE of this place!! ( Also...there is no way this place should have "4" stars total, there are sooo many one star reviews, it should be closer to 2-3 stars total for this place! If you read the 1 start review, its all similar, the rudest service you will ever experience, and it seems the owners do not care about that one bit, and actually enjoy being rude, and the other common thing is undercooked bagels and they refuse to double toast., and now recently it looks like roaches have been found in the restaurant).

Been coming for years service has always been .... Unfriendly to say the least but bagels were good. Last couple times it's been pretty empty. Then today I saw this post on The Patch that they were shut for roach infestation!!!! Will not be going back !
