Used to be our favorite Indian restaurant in the area but over the years the quality has depreciated so much, it sure is disappointing. The food tastes stale, so many times my stomach doesn't feel good after eating here. The service is hit or miss and the restaurant ambiance feels tired and old. Every couple of months I end up eating here in the hopes that things might have changed only to be disappointed. Not sure I'll be going back after yet another bad meal here we had a few weeks back.

Overall great Indian food. Being an American I have a different taste for spices. Loved the various entrees, but not a fan of the chutneys. They were all sweet, which I don't care for. Dosa was lovely, but have to ask for it.

One of the best Indian restaurants in New England that I've been to. A bit of a hole in the wall restaurant. Authentic delicious food that's definitely worth a long drive. Would recommend their paneer pakoras, dosas, idlis and pani puri.

Food quality average - not worth the priceVery poor service - to serve a party of 5 - 6 dishes or so - 3 came in 30 min and the other 3 did not arrive an hour and a half. So we cancelled atleast a couple of te dishes that they did not start making. But that did not work for them. So with seniors in the party that needed to go home to take medication, we loaded all the folks in the car, waited for another 20 min so that they can get paid for the dishes we ordered.I paid for all the dishes, tipped the server the 18% that I normally do because it's not the server's fault. Extremely poor management. This is my third consecutive bad experience after change in management. Hence I am taking the time to give the feedback.

I call Ritu ki rasoi yesterday around 7:30 pm if they were open and has diwali buffet. Guy says they are open and they have 56 bhog dinner. I went with family in 15 minutes. The "New manager" who baught this place recently, did not even welcome us and says we are closing at 8 pm. I told him i call you and you said to come down and has not mention that you are closing( i assumed they will be open late due to Diwali and special buffet).Any he asked us to take home he would give us three buckets to take anything for 30 $ each! Seriously! They packed everything in the restaurant and almost 25 people were having dinner. While we were deciding what to do, manager again came and almost asked us to decide or leave.New management is very disrespectful and unprofessional. This is the last day i am using Ritu ki rasoi.

When you are on a generous mood of throwing your hard earned money on a glorified (only in name) unseasoned french fries renamed as "chilli potato", you order from Ritu Ki Rasoi. Or when it's been a really long week and a very long Friday and you have all the time in the world to wait for your order to be made when the app says it's ready to be picked up, you order from Ritu Ki Rasoi. Or when you feel like eating Bhatura, but what you get is a dough fried to crisp with the crackling of a Pappadom, you order from Ritu Ki Rasoi. Let's not forget about the absolutely healthy (read no salt/bland) chole to go with it, you order from Ritu Ki Rasoi. It is very thoughtful of them to cater to a niche group of people with hypertension ordering chole. Thanks! The best part of the evening was waiting for 20 mins after the app said it was ready to be picked up, to watch the dynamics (read drama) between the the person who takes the order and the lady who gets the food out to him. Oh! And the mango lassi was yummy (no, really yummy!) we ended up eating leftovers. Thanks, RKR for keeping our health in mind. What's $80 if you get us to eat healthy homemade meals? Change your business model perhaps???

This used to be called Ritu ki Rasoi. Now name changed to Mehfil with new management. We usually go to buffet. They used to have thali and that had the perfect portion sizes for lunch. Now they removed that. With buffet they give dosa, rice, roti, along with 5 different veg entrees, sweets, and papad. This is decent and buffet price is reasonable, not hyped up unlike some other Indian restaurants which give half as much. I could easily give them 5 stars. So why only 3 stars? The new management as others have mentioned is not welcoming or friendly. With that, the buffet is too much food. No one person can possibly eat all that comes with it in just one sitting. I asked if I can pack up some of my plate to finish up later and the woman said they don't allow that. So I asked what happens to the rest of the food? She said they just trash it. I felt so sad, what a complete waste of food. The management needs to be hit with reality because it is quite comical they are throwing away their own food they worked so hard to cook, when they could just allow their patrons to pack up the rest of it to go. Most buffet systems allow at least that. There are people starving in this world while this restaurant seems to take lightly on throwing their good food away. Let your patrons dine in buffet and give them a container or two and foil to pack up the rest of the food to finish at home. The only people you are hurting is your own business not the patrons you serve with your ridiculous "rules"! Allow take out in your buffet with enough containers so that patrons can sample all that your buffet has to offer since we are already paying for the entire buffet price!

I rate my experience with this restaurant as a very bad experience. I went there in a good mood and returned back with pain on my head and shoulder. A big, heavy iron divider, fell on me and hurt my head and shoulder. It was kept, resting on unlocked doors, when a customer tried to open it from the other side. I can't imagine how stupid they can be to rest this heavy divider on the doors, that is opening from the other side, when this divider is supposed to be kept in such a way to prohibit the customers from opening the doors. The sad part is very poor customer service. The owner as well as the staff didn't bother to ask how I am doing or follow up with this accident or be courteous to give me any compensation or nothing. I am totally totally disappointed with this place.

Good food. Service can be made a bit faster. Ambiance can also be improved a bit. Have tried Bhel Puri & Samosa Chat.

0 STARS. It has gone WORSE TO WORST. Vada Pav was refried multiple times. Indo Chinese was too oily and unnecessary spicy, when ordered mild. Khasta kachori was stale. When complained, did not even made an attempt to change or improve. AVOID if you can.
