Rite Yah Suh Jamaican Vibez

The food is really good. Everything we ordered was seasoned to perfection. Portions were great as well. I really wish everything isn't always sold out. I've tried to refer this place but everytime they are sold out of some of their main items. Unfortunate because this place has some really good food and could be doing a ton more business.

This review is based upon ordering through Postmates. I placed the order ahead of time, close to 4pm for a delivery time of 6:15-6:30. My order did not arrive until close to 7pm. The Postmates driver has been sitting there for a while as they were busy... assuming due to the holiday. However i feel nearly an hour late is unjustified when the order was placed nearly 2 hrs ahead of time. The driver delivered it promptly, in good condition and pipping got when she got it. So it def was not Postmates issue. We ordered:2 oxtail meals. One with plantains and the other with cabbage. Both had rice and beans. Oxtail was super tender and very meaty. The flavor was ok. The plantains were good but a bit covered in the sauces. The cabbage was excellent. The rice + beans were flavorless and dry. Goat curry meal had rice + beans and another order of plantains. The sides were the same as above. The goat meat order was very tender. However the curry was relatively bland and it was VERY salty. Pineapple ginger refresher - came frozen in a great To-go container. I took a chance ordering this vs another one I'm fa familiar with on Postmates because it had a higher rating on Postmates. However I much prefer the other place and will order from them again. I can't attest to the ambiance cuz i was not in the restaurant.

If you want great Jamaican food, look no further! Before I get to the food, it is important to note that this location does NOT have a dine in option. It is solely for takeout unless you choose to have your food delivered to you. Inside, there are screens where you can order, a window where you can pick up your food, lockers for food delivery persons to pick up orders, and a single, gender neutral bathroom. Now, the food... the flavors are to die for. This is the closest to authentic Jamaican food that I have found in the Phoenix area. The spicy jerk sauce is so delicious, so much so that I always request extra. The jerk chicken is cooked to perfection as is the rasta pasta. I don't even have the words to accurately describe how delicious this place is. Go check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for phenomenal Jamaican food look no further cause they got it all RITE YAH!!! A GIANT meal of jerk chicken, rice and peas, and delicious mac and cheese cost me around $15 on uber eats- I gotta say the portion size makes this deal INCREDIBLY worth it! I mean just look at the size of that thing in comparison to my head! LOL.The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was just BOMB, and the rice and peas were perfection!Can't wait to order more!

10/10!! This food is Authentic, Fresh, and Delicious! It's located inside of the Highland Food Hub Kitchen and open late. Your appetite and taste buds will appreciate the wait. Rite Yah Suh is a MUST TRY!!

I've ordered from this spot now multiple times and always tell everyone it's the best Jamaican food in Phoenix. The food will take long so make sure to order ahead but it is 100 percent worth it. Rasta pasta is just delicious, spicy, savory, and the oxtails are to die for. We always get the Rasta pasta with oxtail and the curry goat with rice and plantains. While the price is expensive, both orders together is enough food for dinner and lunch the next day for me and my boyfriend. The beef Pattie's are the crispiest and flakiest I've ever had outside of Jamaica. The only thing I've everrrr been frustrated about was a lack of consistency with the amount of oxtail on the rasta pasta but it's not enough to keep me from coming back

WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!! let me tell you I have never tried Jamaican food until I ordered from here. Did they take a while yes but let me tell you everything was fresh, cooked to order, and tasted amazing!!! Do yourself a favor and try this place. I bet you will be glad you waited because the food is soooo good. The pasta was by far one of my favorite sides. The meat was cooked perfectly and so full of flavor. The plantains, rice and beans, the oxtail oh my goodness I can eat that all day!!! The brown stew man I can't find anything wrong with this place. Highly recommend it. It is located inside the highland food hub.

Love that they are open late. Ordered the jerk chicken dinner. Added the festival bread. For my sides I got the plantains and mac. Let me say, I've never had tastier, cheesier, creamier Mac n cheese. All the bbq and soul food joints around the valley focus on the meats and neglect the sides. This place does not. The festival bread is is also yum. Will definitely satisfy your carb craves. The chicken was good. Without their sauces, I'd say a 5/10. With their sauces, 7-8/10. Was disappointed they didn't offer beef patties but cannot truly fault them for that because you can only review what you tried.Will definitely be back. Glad to know it's a local nearby spot.

I had the sweet chili glazed salmon on white rice and steamed cabbage. The dish was a sight to see and even more flavorful to eat. Each bite was a harmony of flavors. What a joy and Happy eating!

1st time I went the food was amazing. It took a while to get my order but reasonable I was a walk in and it was busy for them. However this visit is something different. I ordered ahead of time and was told it would be 30 minutes for my order. Over an hour later after calling at the 45 minute mark and was told they are bringing my food now I am still waiting. This will be my last visit I don't care how good the food is. Just be honest about what you can do. It's the dishonesty for me!!! My time is my money and when you lie and wasted it you took my money twice!
