Very nice place. No dedicated parking so you may have to drive/walk a bit. The lady working today didn't speak English so she called her daughter who gave me some good suggestions for what to order. I ordered the Huraches with beef and the Sopes with chorizo.Delicious !! Yes, I ate it all (no dinner for me tonight).Thank you to the cooks and for so the advice on what to get!

Amazing torra de asada! Good food takes time to prepare so be patient. Coming back again. :)

I was in the area and needed a quick bite after a long day. I was very excited to try this place as the reviews looked amazing! Unfortunately these tacos just did not hit for me. I got the Carnitas, Al Pastor, and Asada tacos and all three meats were lacking flavor. The meats were a little try. I was not a fan of the tortillas and the rice and beans needed more salt. At the time, I was the only person ordering so I'm not sure if the food is better/moving more when it's busy. It was okay - I unfortunately would not go back.

I was in the area with this place on my list to eat at thanks to the Reader, Tin Fork articles. This spot is located in the middle of a neighborhood likely converted from an old home. I had tried to get a hold of them for some time but I believe they were shut due to COVID. Today they were open when I called! I rolled up and checked out the menu and specialties. Just a note, you should brush up on your spanish if you need before you go :-) There was a tad bit of a language barrier I had to get through when ordering in my broken spanish. I ordered a pupusa and the cheeseburger fries I saw on the menu. Due to my lack of spanish fluency I received a cheeseburger and fries instead, no problem. The cheeseburger and fries were pretty simple. In a good way! The real star was the pupusa, I haven't had a pupusa that good since I lived in the LA area!Check the place out! Support local. It doesn't get much more local than this.

Visiting from Los Angeles and ate here after Chicano park, very good and authentic Mexican food. The pampazo is a must try. Very good and quality home made style food. Enjoyed the Jamaica as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Happy with service. Parking also easy.

It could be difficult to find parking, but it's worth it bc the food it's so tasty and they have variety of dishes from their menu. Delicious home made Mexican food, it literally feels like you're visiting your grandma's home.

Phenomenal Mexican cuisine with rich flavors that taste homemade, featuring high-quality ingredients and cuts of meat. The welcoming atmosphere is akin to an abuelita's kitchen, managed by a sweet and cordial lady. Both cash and cards are accepted, and there is seating available inside and outside. Orders are placed at the counter, and I highly recommend the California Burrito, which stands out as one of the best with carne asada, French fries, cheese, and sour cream. I also indulged in the Carne Asada Mulita, Carne Asada Taco, and Carne Asada Sope, all of which were delicious. Don't miss out on their outstanding green and red salsa, even if you're not typically a fan of red salsa--here, it offers a delightful kick and bursts with flavor.
