Rico's Hibachi & Wings

Tbh the hibachi here is rather bland. Yes the yum yum sauce hepls & its a very good size portion of food however the surprise part about dining here were the wings (not pictured). I opted for the lemon pepper & honey garlic wings. They were a good size & honestly are amongst the best wings I've had while in Georgia. Everything was made fresh so be prepared to wait about 15-20 minutes for your food but it's worth it. I even liked the fact that the cashier literally opened each box of food to ensure your order was correct prior to you leaving.

I've been at this restaurant several times, and I thought I wrote a comment. The food is fresh, but this time they lost my order online. So when I got here, I had to place another order. The staff is friendly and helpful if you need assistance with the menu. We ordered hibachi rice with steak and shrimp. My husband don't like mushrooms, and they cooked the rice with them. So he didn't eat any. We also ordered lemon pepper wings, a gyro combo and Philly chicken with fries. I placed 4 different entrees, for 6 people. We all shared and still had food left. We will be back soon.

Take out only review. Order was ready faster than the estimate. Some of the WORST hibachi I've ever had in my life. The fried rice was far from fried but doused in oil and soy sauce. The chicken was tough and basically flavorless, the veggies were wilted and everything was swimming in oil. The yum sauce was the only thing that made the chicken edible. The reason for 3 stars? The wings were quite good! Well cooked with good flavor. The spice level was as advertised. Unfortunately they're not better than any other wing place in Fayetteville so I can't really see myself coming back.

STORE/ATMOSPHERE (2/5):It's always SO HOT inside here. I get it, they're cooking on a grill, however, it's a small place - crank up the air! I'm sweating bullets while waiting for my food. It's cooler outside IN JUNE! That's saying something. They only have 4 tables of 2 total. It's a small place. WAITING TIME/TO GO (4/5):I ordered at the store (I did not call ahead) and it took 20 minutes for one hibachi dish and 10 wings. I came on a Saturday late lunch time so it was semi-busy. Not too long of a wait in my opinion. Average of any restaurant. ACCURACY OF ORDER (3/5): I take 50% blame for this one. I ordered 10 wings (ALL FLATS) which I didn't realize she apparently didn't hear or charge me for (which was my fault for not checking the receipt). Also, I got lemon pepper wings. I like my wings "saucy" and I know lemon pepper is usually DRY RUB, so I asked if I could get them "WET" not knowing what this even meant (also my fault for not asking) I thought it meant they have a sauce to add to it. I honestly still don't know what it means but they came with some kind of liquid at the bottom which I think was lemon sauce? FOOD TASTE (4/5):SHRIMP HIBACHI - delicious! Wish there was more shrimp, but still a decent portion. Flavors were on point! LEMON PEPPER WINGS - great flavor! I got them "wet" so they were slightly soggy/not as crispy as I hoped. They had tiny parts that were still crispy which I enjoyed. Next time will keep it "DRY" and ask for any extra sauce on the side so it stays crispy. Loved them tho! Bigger wing size than JR Cricketts!

I love their lemon pepper wings with extra sauce with fries. There aren't many wing places in Fayetteville, Rico's has become my favorite we eat here at least once a week.

I've passed by here several times and would always laugh to myself about the name. Well, the laugh is on me. Craving hibachi but not the hassle of eating out. I decided to try Rico's. I ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp hibachi with fried rice and extra mushrooms. It comes with a side of yum yum sauce (not my thing). Overall, it was good for my hibachi fix. Steak was a little chewy but not a deal breaker, I would order it again. The wings that I saw looked very good. Might be on my list for next time. I'd go back and would recommend. Pro Tip: call ahead to skip the wait. I waited almost 40 minutes for my order.

The service was great. The food is a 6/10. The chicken was bland. No seasoning and no teriyaki. The yum yum sauce is DELICIOUS! That's what kind of saved the meal.

Food was good and the amount was more than expected. I went to pick up an order placed online and the service was pretty quick.

I ordered the steak hibachi and lemon pepper wings. The actual place isn't that big and has limited seats, but I ate there. My wings were good but the hibachi was very bland and lacked a lot of flavor. I ate enough of it to get full and threw the rest away.
