This is one of my go-to take out spots in Bellevue for years. No frills just food Thai food that you can count on. They also have free delivery (directly through the restaurant) for orders $35 and up. Bonus: They also have catering for parties, which is hard to find around here. $50 for a "small" tray and $100 for a larger tray. The smaller tray is plenty. We ordered 4 small trays for a party of 15 as the main items as it was more than enough! Such a good deal.

Its been YEARS since my husband and I have had Rice N Spice so we decided to have Rice N Spice for our Friendsgiving! We ordered Pad Thai, Pineapples Fried Rice, Zion Chicken, and Sweet N Sour Chicken. The consensus favorite was Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice, the worst was Zion Chicken and Sweet N Sour Chicken. Zion Chicken was so hard to chew, not even crispy at all. Sweet N Sour Chicken, you barely had any chicken at all. Mostly vegetables and the chicken was also hard to chew. Pad Thai, noodles werent soggy and not sweet. Pineapple Fried Rice, good mix of sour and sweet.Overall, will continue to visit. Still tastes as good as we remembered.

This place is more of a 3.5 star spot for me but I'm elevating to 4 stars because its a good price for lunch. With inflation at an all time high I feel like getting a flavorful (and somewhat healthy) lunch for under $15 is a win! There is very limited seating here (in fact it might be a few outdoor tables only) so I would consider this a takeaway only spot. All of the food is boxed and bagged so be prepared to enjoy your food somewhere else. The service was pretty fast and friendly. You select your spice level 1-4. I got the Garlic Lovers with chicken (spicy level 3) and it was lovely! Mellow heat for sure so next time I might kick it up to a 4. ProsExtensive menuGood prices for downtown Bellevue Great flavorsConsLimited seating, mostly outsideNot good for groups+$1 for brown rice

The restaurant is mostly set up for to go orders. There is a few tables for dine in. There is a difference between the lunch and the lunch combo that's offered.

Stopped by for lunch and man it was crazy busy . I waited about 30 minutes for my food but the guy nicely warned me the wait would be long. For being the only person at the register he was on a roll. I gotta say the food was delicious well worth the 30 min wait for it. The environment was crazy but in a good way, since you got people on lunch, people picking up and people ordering food. I would definitely come back even if I have to wait another 30-40 minutes

If you want to get some quick Thai food, this is the place on the eastside. They have so many different dishes, you'll never get bored with the menu. I usually get a lunch combination which comes with an entree, rice, salad and pad Thai. It's a little pricey at around $16 with tax now, but the cost of food is so high it makes sense.Service is always good too.

So good. Just make sure you don't go when they close in the middle of the day! Food is hot and tasty

The guy who works at the front desk is unprofessional and rude. I would never give this place my money, simply because of the way they treat their customers. The food here is spotty and inconsistent at best. Unless you like tough chicken, overdone food, and incorrect orders, I suggest you find a much better Thai place.

Great place for a quick and affordable meal if you're in the downtown Bellevue area!I think this is more of a takeout place, but there are a few tables both inside and outside. Service was really quick and they had our food ready in 10 minutes of ordering. No restrooms, though. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and which was satisfying and full of flavor. As a warning though I did find it to be a LOT spicier than other Thai restaurants. My level 2 spice was extremely spicy for me but perhaps it was just a one-off!

I feel so bad I haven't even reviewed this restaurant yet. Rice N Spice is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in Bellevue. It's a humble little take-out shop with a few bar seats/chairs. Please note that lunch time on weekdays is crazyy!! Tons of ppl lining up from Amazon, Overlake etc. but it's so worth it. Also if you go online you can preorder in advance for pick up which is faster, otherwise during lunch time it's like a 15-20 min wait. So this place is a gem because of a few things. First, their lunch specials are like the best deal in Bellevue. You can get pad thai, drunken noodles, curries as a main with a side salad and jasmine rice on the side. And it all comes out to be under $15. It's only for weekday lunches and it's a bargain. (Shout out to owner: please don't change your lunch special prices!) Secondly, not only is the food extremely good but it's definitely authentic. There are old Asian ladies working in the back kitchen using woks. It's legit. I typically don't like to eat take out but when I'm in a pinch and I have a hungry husband to feed, this is my go-to place! I have an advantage and I live close by but seriously if they were in Redmond or Kirkland I'd still drive there. It's that good. My recommendations are: Zion chicken lunch combo, drunk noodle lunch special, and the pad Thai. Also, the service is good given they're understaffed. One person at the front manning calls, orders, packing to-go boxes. She does the best she can given how busy they get during the lunch hour. I actually came here two days in a row because it's that good. Also their quality is consistent every time!!! If you come after 1:30pm they've slowed down and lunch time ends at 3:30. Yesterday I came for a late lunch and the vibe was also different than the lunch hour. So protip- if you can take a later lunch break, do so! Their Thai tea is nice too!!! You gotta try this. You seriously won't regret it. Thank you Rice N Spice. Please keep up the good work.PS - there's a parking lot within the Panera Bread complex so generally isn't too bad to find parking.
