Rice N Curry

Seems everywhere you go these days prices increased and service has decreased. There is a huge competitive advantage right now if you take care of your customers. Rice N Curry knocks that out of the park. I have dined at Fine Dinning and Michelin Star restaurants where the service wasn't as good as it was here. We love supporting local and especially family owned. You can really tell they genuinely care. I observed quite a few regulars coming in, they knew everyone's name. This is the friendliest restaurant around. Our first time visiting we ordered the Samosas, Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Rice and Garlic Naan. We washed it all down with a Mango Lassi. The food was fantastic and the portions are generous. The two of us ended up eating dinner for two nights off what we ordered. Our first time enjoying a Mango Lassi, we loved it. We will definitely be back. This was a 20 out of 10 experience with next level customer service.

We don't eat out nearly as much as we used to, but decided to try out one of several Indian spots within walking distance from our house in Renton. It was very tasty with a small menu compared with most Indian restaurants. In this case it was a good choice, since everything we had was very well done and tasty. My wife always likes to try the butter chicken and naan at every Indian place we go. She really enjoyed both. (Butter naan seemed to be a missed opportunity on the menu, since it is easy to just brush butter onto the naan after cooking, and it makes the naan so much richer.) I really enjoyed the murgh(=chicken) masala, and it was what I would consider a medium spicy (having lived in India for more than 3 years).The service was excellent. RJ was very helpful and I believe was the owners nephew. I missed the owners name, but she was also very nice and came out to say hi to the diners while we were there.The ambience was nothing especially outstanding. There was just a little speaker playing some Indian tunes in the background with some oddly sized tables, but it worked.FYI- This restaurant is North Indian food even though it is called Rice-N-Curry, which I would typically associate with Southern India. I would definitely eat here again.

Delicious food, plentiful servings (we took the rest home), wonderful people behind the counter. It's my new favorite place! Very clean restaurant, I actually thought they were very new. Rinka, the lady who helped us, took the time to advice me on the best food combinations, to make sure we enjoy the meal well. She's fabulous. We'll be back for sure.

Wow did not realize that this hidden gem has been around for 3 years. We only came here as naan n curry in Renton was pickup only, and were pleasantly surprised to run into a naan n curry staff regular as well. That set the expectations on the food high and boy it did not disappoint. Superb butter chicken, garlic naan and reshmi Tikka were served up fast and were spot on. Our kiddo loved it. The chicken biryani was delicious and had quite a few chicken pieces. All in all a great father's day! Only nitpick would be there is not too much seating so come at an off peak time if you want to sit and eat. Set your expectations for this being a pickup joint for some excellent Indian food.

Was sesrching burgers in Renton.. here for work. Came go a spot and this place was next door. WOW.. food was hot and delicious. The people were helpful and nice. Definitely a go to if your in town and want some Indian food.

Delicious samosas!!They're made fresh and the shell is crunchy and crispy and the perfect thickness!I really appreciate that the filling was well-balanced in that the herbs and spices used was just enough that you can still taste the natural flavors and textures of the vegetables and beans. The Samosas themselves are not spicy - they're probably mildly, scarcely spicy at most.The accompanying red sauce is not spicy: it's rather sweet and a little sour. You can think of it having a similar taste palette to Thai sweet chili sauce. The green one is spicy though. If you are going to try the sauces, I would recommend trying the sauces together.Overall, a nice and welcome appetizer for the summer heat. Rice n Curry shares a private parking lot with The Salty Blue if you're driving, otherwise there's ample neighborhood street parking beside it. The staff were also very nice and quick with the food! The music is turned down a bit but also pleasant to listen to.Do note that the Rice n Curry is not the same as the Naan n Curry (yellow banner) that's a couple of lots down. You'll know you're at the Rice n Curry if you see The Salty Blue right next to it.The accompanying sauces

Rice N Curry is my beloved go-to for Indian-style curry. . I have lived in the UK, true story, and this is the only curry I've tasted in Seattle that compares to the quality you get abroad. Whether vegetarian (palak paneer is my favorite) or meat-based (the butter chicken is both healthy and decadent), they are high quality in either category. So many 'curry' restaurants clearly just throw spices into the sauce and the final product is watery and without depth of flavor, due to lack of slow-cooking and attention to quality. Rice N Curry does it right, and is worth every penny you'll spend!

Came from Houston and this place was amazing, very friendly staff and the food felt like home.

Came here per recommendation to try out the Biryani here . We ordered Chicken Biryani, Naan , Mango lassi , Reshmi Chicken Tikka and Bhuna Gosht. Chicken Biryani was fantastic with rice being well flavored . Didn't disappoint . Naan was soft, fluffy and great tasting . Mango Lassi was bit too sweet for us and Bhuna Gosht bit on the tangy side. Reshmi Chicken Tikka was decent .

Hands down best Indian food in the area! I've been ordering food here for about 2 years now. My go-to order is always vegetable samosas, butter chicken, garlic naan, and rice and it's always flavorful and delicious. The customer service is also always amazing!
