The door person at the Epilany Center for the Arts recommended this place as we were looking to get some grub before the Flamenco show. We were skeptical. We decided to check the menu and we stayed because it was conveniently located across the street from the venue. Surprise ‼ the food was really good, good size servings, the place was clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly. We shared enchiladas al pastor with mole and guacamole, and we each had a taco - too much good food. Great deal for the price.

I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Ricano's. Nestled within an intimate space, this hidden gem specializes in serving authentic Mexican cuisine. My order comprised the delectable chilaquiles paired with a refreshing Mexican Coke, a combination that left me thoroughly satisfied. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous, to the extent that I found myself taking home half of my meal.Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by a courteous staff member who promptly seated us. Within minutes of settling in, our drink orders were taken. The level of service was good , with our server displaying a fair amount of knowledge of the menu and remaining highly attentive throughout our dining experience.With such an outstanding experience, I can confidently say that I eagerly anticipate my return to Ricano's!

Nice little spot on Ashland. Stopped here for a late breakfast. Got the Chorizo-Rito and a glass of Sangria. Both pretty good! Service was excellent. They have a smallbar with 1-2 TVs and apparently there is a nice patio in the back that is open in the spring-summer. Definitely will be back here again!Good salsa as well.

I've heard great things about this restaurant and had to try it! The staff was welcoming and was seated immediately when we got there. The atmosphere was lively as there was a rush of people that came in just a few minutes after we did. The complimentary chips and salsa were so good and started off with a Mexican coke which was yum! Found this place by accident thinking it was a brunch (only) type of place. Turned out to be the perfect post wedding lunch spot for a group of 8 of us. The service was amazing and we all ate (and had leftovers) for less than $140. The salsa and chips were perfect and every entree was so tasty.
