Beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The remodel has done this building justice. The bar area is a nice space to hold private parties. Perfect place for dinner with a loved one for a special occasion such as anniversary, private birthday or as a group for any other celebration. Sister and I came here as a last-minute attempt to eat a good meal. We arrived a quarter before 10 pm We both ordered appetizers and a meal. Both of us ordered the Fruit De Mari, I believe, is the spelling, which is a seafood pasta dish in a creamy sauce. Delicious with sufficient amounts of seafood in it for a nice balance. My sister ordered the Crab Dip, which I thought was good, but the Tacos Gaberno made with lobster had me wishing for more! It was pretty and pretty tasty, too! I ordered a Chelada drink, which, to be honest, due to the salted rim with Chamoy, may have affected my palette a bit when trying the food. Not too much, though the meal was a great experience. My sister ordered a blackberry infused drink and a mango infused one I believe, which she enjoyed, and we both loved the bread and whipped butter they brought out before our meals. My only qualm is that the service was good it was just that we had to seek the server out at times when we needed something which considering we were one of the only other patrons there at that time shouldn't have been an issue. Also servers should become knowledgeable in the dishes and drinks served to help when customers inquire about items they may be unfamiliar with that they may want to try if given great description and taste comparisons to go off of. Overall it was a great experience for us both. This place is a high-end restaurant, so be prepared to pay for that. Although we looked like we rolled out of bed when there, we were still treated like stars..look we were hungry. Meals, appetizers with drinks for two were about $180 with a $40 tip total out $220Nice to see Lakewood offer dining experiences like this whereas you'd have to go to Tacoma or Seattle for that. Parking is good and location is easy to find I believe they do take reservations but we walked in and were seated immediately but it was also empty so that's a factor to consider. Definitely recommend!!

A little upscale, and pricey dining... Which is great to see for this neighborhood!!!I don't have to drive all the way to Tacoma for this experience or Seattle.Food was delicious. the presentation...perfecto. The bar lounge area is very spacious and comfortable. The only drawback is they have two televisions in there that don't have consistent connectivity. Otherwise great spot for late evening. Very similar to Asado.

We got there about when they opened on a Friday night and were seated right away. The restaurant itself is nice inside and is pretty upscale for Lakewood, we were pretty surprised. Our server, I hate that I cannot remember his name, was so friendly and helpful when we explained it was our first time being there. My friend is a pretty picky eater and he remembered things she mentioned she didn't like and ensured they would not be on her food. My filet was pretty flavorful, however due to the sizzling slab it continues to cook and was definitely more medium than medium well when I received it. The veggies were pretty bland, but the cook was decent. The cocktail was light and refreshing. We enjoyed our meal and will probably come back. For us, our server made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Stopped in to their bar area for cocktails because we already ate dinner somewhere else. So this review will be for the bar only.We were quickly greeted. Chose the Cadillac Margarita (El Cadillac) one blended, one not. They were both pretty good. Could definitely be bigger though! Also maybe invest in a better blender as there were big chunks of ice after blending. Also tried the La Bonita, which was really good and refreshing. Unfortunately, there were several bottles missing from their bar that are listed in the cocktails on their cocktail menu...so minus a star for that. One of the bartenders stated that the Casa Noble was a typo and not actually the type of Tequila they use, which seemed like a strange response.Felix took care of us on our visit and he was friendly, informative, and engaging. They served us a little platter with mini bread buns and decorative whipped butter. Looked fancy. The bread was okay, but not at good as it looked...but was a nice gesture. The ambiance is chill. Lots of TVs for the sports fans. They only serve appetizers in the bar. There were several tables tucked away in the corner with people...but for the most part the bar was empty. They have a fireplace and two sofas with a table down the middle which gave a nice, warm feel. Perfect for the fall.We will come back and eat a meal here--so another review in the future sure.

Wow! One of the best dinners I have had in a long time! I was very impressed with the atmosphere, service and skillfully crafted dishes. The dishes that were smoked table side were VERY cool and added a chic element to the whole meal. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The little breads and sauce that came out to start were tasty and a unique spin on table bread. The service really felt first class. They even cleaned our place settings in between courses. Overall EXCELLENT. Will most certainly be back! Loved the street corn side. One constructive criticism I found through out the meal was that the tortillas were over cooked. They had a slightly burnt flavor. Even ones not smoked. Crispy and over done can be tricky. Would most definitely visit again though.

Very impressed as soon as I walked in. The ambience has a very cozy feeling. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The food was amazing. I love that the fillet mignon was served on a hot brick, it kept the food hot. Zach Franco is a great server and has such great character. I would definitely come back. My experience here was great overall!

This is a rarity I give a straight 5 stars, but Rey Carbon deserves this rating. The have a beautiful location in Lakewood, that is serving excellent quality seafood and steaks to name a few of their dishes. Upon entering you are warped into a French, Mexican infused high level establishment that is well deserving of this rating. All staff are dressed in uniforms, they do not even have paper napkins and top service from time you get in the door. They provide free table side flavored water and bread service. This is a pricey dining experience yet appropriate for what they are serving.

Came in after-work sat in the bar. Would give it five stars but no real food to order in the bar except for the same menu in the dining area. Was with a friend, and we wish it would have had a bar food option, something lighter. The bartender Jatzini was awesome and friendly. She actually made the time there fun. Would be coming back with other friends. Hopefully, they will get a menu for people who just want something light to eat while they drink.

Food and service was excellent. Most of of my family eats seafood and they have better menu options compared to most steakhouses. Atmosphere was great. Highly recommend.
