Ay! Q delicioso!! Rico! No sé q mas puedo decir! Wow!This gringo was very happy. I spend a lot of time in Honduras and I discovered this restaurant here in Nashville by chance, driving by. I am glad I did! Most posh gringos wouldn't step foot in here-but damn is it worth it! True, original, 100% authentic Honduran food. The baleadas are straight up and the pupusas are increíble. No puedo esperar para regreso!

So this is my first foray into Honduran food. And what a delight it was.Tacos for a $1.50! Heck yea!!! We got the carne asada and it was so delicious, I could have had five of those and I would have been a happy trooper. Double tortilla, soft and the meat inside had a great flavor. The tortilla to meat ratio was good! The meat wasn't juicy; in spite of being dry, it was soft. Topped with chopped onions and cilantro; tasted pretty good for how simple it was. We weren't very hungry so we ordered the Polio Con Tajadas to share. The quantity for $10 was generous. And, boy was it delicious. It was a good half portion of chicken, with plenty of plantains, salad and pickled onions. The chicken wasn't spicy but flavorful. It had a light crispy coating, so I think it was fried but not heavily battered. Fried chicken can get quite dry but this was juicy and tender. I liked the mild flavoring, except I cannot put my finger on what it was. It was tasty. The plantains though! Crispy on the outside and soft inside. Not mushy mind you, which I am usually not fond of. And they came plentiful with a creamy mayo-like drizzle and on a bed of sweet tangy tomato sauce. And on the side slaw was a tasty complement. I am surprised, there aren't more reviews on this place. But it seems to be really popular among the Central and South Americans. That speaks for the authenticity of the food, I'd say. And, the price is so affordable for the flavor and quantity. I love an authentic flavor haven that is easy on the pocket and generous on the belly. The restaurant has space for group dining but it seemed roughly maintained. Like few of the seatings had tears. Having said that, the place seemed clean. So overall the ambience may not be that upbeat but given the taste of the food rendered, i'd go back and try some more things off the menu.

Absolutely delicious! It is hard to find Latin American food in Nashville that is both authentic and tasty. This place hits the spot. I had the tacos dorados and the pupusas which I miss having grown up in LA. Definitely going back soon.

I really pull for places like this. It's a working man's place. The price is nice, the helpings abundant and no need for frills. No wagu beef on the menu, no heritage pork.I thought what I ordered was good, I just couldn't get past the dirty table. That's partly my fault, I sat myself. It's not well lit so I couldn't see until I sat down the schmutz left on the table from a previous meal or two. When the lady came to my table without a rag I didn't say anything. I didn't want to be the prissy gringo complaining from the git-go. I waited until she took my order to the kitchen to wipe up the dried goo with a dampened wad of napkins. And speaking of gringos, I was immediately informed that they had no tea, sweet or otherwise. No hello, howdy, how are you. Just what would you like to drink and we don't have no stinking tea. OK...got it. Water is fine. The fish tacos are grilled and topped with cabbage and crema. I was offered verde hot sauce. Yes mam, thank you. The red sauce on the table was thin but spicy. The Baleadas con carne were huge for $3.65 - for the price I ordered two and had to bring one home. Refried beans, egg, cheese, meat, avocado, & crema. Some of my favorite places are kinda seedy, run down but not dirty. This was dirty. To be fair, it may have been the only dirty table in there, I don't know.

Went here last Saturday Nov 12 th. Well we were in traffic on our way to Costco. Looked left and saw the sign. It was meant to be. We went in and absolutely ate like kings. Lots of regulars in there. We don't speak Spanish well but did just good enough to get the order in. My lady was so patient with us had a smile the whole time. The food was fantastic. Gorditas had me smiling. Prices were far. Will be back for sure. Good shot we will be back this weekend.

Great food at a good price. Baleadas were excellent just like the plátano fritos. The people were friendly and I definitely recommend to those who like Honduran food - lord knows there aren't many options in Nashville. Also, ignore the 2 star review below.... the clown even says he thought the food was good but he just got a slightly dirty table (that he seated himself at). Boohoo. Reviews like that can be detrimental to small businesses, but he just wasn't coddled enough. Go gentrify another establishment.
