I am absolutely blown away by Restaurant Progress. Everything about my and my husband's dining experience last night was 5 stars. First - the service was fantastic; we had Chase as our waitress who was phenomenal. She was kind, attentive, extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. But even the table runners and lady who sat us (who I think was the manager?) were extremely nice and friendly and quick! Our table was consistently cleaned which we appreciated. Most importantly - the food was absolutely unbelievable. We opted out of the tasting menu and chose our own food. We did the sourdough, which was basic and delicious; the endive ceasar salad, the most unique and tasty rendition we've ever had; the duck, which was perfectly rendered over the best harissa carrot sauce I've ever had; and the mushroom lasagna, which was absolutely to die for due both to taste and texture. Our only complaint was one of our first dishes, the tuna crudo. It was way too salty, almost inedibly so. The mojo sauce saved it, but as our opening dish, we were a little concerned. However, as noted above, everything else blew us away. Last - the dessert. This deserved its own section of the review. Holy. Wow. We couldn't decide and ordered both the ice cream sandwich and the cheesecake. Both were phenomenal, but the ice cream sandwich was particularly delicious. I've never had anything texturally similar and I'm still thinking about it this morning. Sad I didn't take any pictures because both were beautiful as well. Overall, cannot recommend this place enough. Great vibe, great food, and great drink options! Such a wonderful experience and date night for my husband and I, and neither of us can wait to return.

What a nice dining experience! This kind of rustic/industrial restaurant was charming and intimate for a date night. Our wait staff were great--everyone was very nice and had a good balance of checking in often but not too much. We did the Leave It to the Kitchen 5 course meal and everything was paced very well; we were able to finish each plate without feeling rushed but soon after the plates were cleaned, the next course would come out. One thing to note though, is that we thought the Leave It to the Kitchen option would be totally unique, but most if not all of what we got was already on the normal menu.Overall, the food was very good but nothing blew me away. I loved the tuna crudo and the crispy brussel sprouts (they were perfectly crispy and I liked the spicy sauce + Burrata with it). The beef tartare and ribeye were good, but a little too pickled/vinegary for me. The squash and the salads (not pictured) were also good but I probably could've done without. Would still recommend a visit, especially for some wine or cocktails (we had multiple rounds of drinks and loved them all)!

We came here after a long day at the hospital and enjoyed the great service and environment. The food was all delicious. It is more of a share style restaurant which was nice because we were able to try many things. Our favorite was the chicken croquettes. They were full of flavor and had a nice crunchy outside.

I have been looking forward to this place for a very long time so maybe it's the hype leading up to going that really made them fall flat for me but it just wasn't what I expected. The food was mediocre to me however my wife loved the chicken croquettes. My swordfish was overcooked and had the texture of a pressed patty due to it being overcooked and dry. The flavors were good just as I said fell very flat for me considering they present themselves as a top shelf restaurant and I wanted it to be that for me too. Service and space I will say is amazing the back patio is beautiful and the wine room is quant and we were able to be all by ourselves for the duration of the meal which felt really cool. I just keep coming back to the food and I'm just so sad. Seems like it was a rare occurrence as most everyone else loves it here so do wish them the best

Progress was a fun experience. I wouldn't say it's a must-try or that it was worth the over $300 bill for two compared to other $300ish restaurants we've been to (felt more like $200ish?), but it was nice to do. My husband and I did the "let the chef decide" option, so we each got five different courses. It was cool to share ten plates off the menu and get a breakdown of the ingredients from our waiter, Anthony! One negative was that they don't have high chairs or changing tables. I get it's not a kid-friendly place and the vibe is on the modern and trendier side, but ours behaved well enough and I wish they made parents feel a little welcome. The things we were served were crudo, steak tartare, squash tostada, curried carrots, tomato salad, burrata, chicken, branzino, cheesecake, and mousse. Everything was created and plated so carefully! My favorite was the chicken, and I think my husband's favorite was the tostada. Overall, the food was incredible. Be warned, they charge for bread and butter! It's worth it, though! I also ordered the gruner wine and my husband got the Of Wolf and Man cocktail. He made his impressed face so it was a win.

Had a great meal at Restaurant Progress! We were seated outside and initially was hesitant because of the cold weather. Thankfully they had plenty of heaters so it made no difference than if we were seated inside. The staff were really attentive and made some great recommendations on the menu. Menu thoughts:- If you love burrata, their take on it was delicious. - Get the maple panna cotta if you're having a maple kick like I am. It was the perfect amount of sweet for a dessert without because too much.

I don't have enough good things to say about Restaurant Progress! I had a priceless time with my best friends here. The atmosphere is is incredibly intimate and cozy, with a sophisticated touch that makes you feel like you've stepped into a restaurant outside of Phoenix. We opted for the chefs tasting menu which was well worth the $100 for the 5 courses You could tell each dish was crafted with care and detailThe fact that you can pick out a bottle of wine yourself from the fridge adds a personal touch to the dining experience I also got the espresso martini with mezcal which is also worth mentioning because it was so good! I highly recommend this to anyone thinking about stopping by

The current menu is amazing! Fall flavors, perfect for patio weather. Of Wolf and Man cocktail is nice and smoky. Ceasar salad and pasta are both fabulous and full of flavor. The samlon conserva was my fave. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love it, but left feeling underwhelmed. I discovered Progress after a friend posted about it on Instagram. I had company coming in for NYE, and found they were doing a chef's choice type menu for the night. I called to inquire about the specifics and the staff was so helpful in booking my reservation. The presentation of the food was lovely, but I was put off by the taste of a couple of the plates. The staff was wonderfully kind, but we did have a couple of snafus like courses delivered out of order and an incorrect liquor in one of the drinks. These were taken care of promptly. The patio is cute, and mostly enclosed, but the heaters didn't make it to our table so it was quite chilly. At $100 per person, the four course meal left us wanting more, with small portions for the price.
