Renton has a great farmers market and on a Tuesday, just when your Saturday morning expedition supplies have run short. This one has lots to offer, quite a few fruit and veggies vendors, multiple food trucks, wines, meads, and beer, ice cream and bakery goodies. Nice shady location in a park square next to downtown, plenty of okay areas for kids as well. All the vendors are friendly and helpful. Oh!! A lots of flowers, that were almost sold out by the end. I ll probably do some reviews on individual vendors as well. Upon reading sone of those helpful help reviews on the different vendors and their other locations, always helpful Yelp bunch!! I will point out one that you have to get there early if you want some of their amazingly delicious brioche donuts, Good Lazy Donuts, re the bomb, I can see why they sell out and are stiff competitors for some of the more well known donuts places in Seattle. Definitely get there early or lose out on a very special sweet treat. Lots of great greasy produce, loving the sweet delicious Rainier cherries right now, knowing more veggies and fruit will be available soon, tomatoes are just now showing up. Lots of great restaurants and breweries within walking distance as well. A great place to spend a cool Tuesday summers Eve. Take advantage of all the fresh local produce available. Yelping on and Cheers!

The Renton Farmers' Market is a great addition to the area!! There are a pretty wide array of vendors with plenty of fresh, local foods and artistically goods. They also have a food truck section that may or may not rotate selection. This market is definitely in a great location: downtown Renton. Not only are there a bunch of bus lines that go to the transit center, there's free parking in the garage and plenty of street parking for those willing to walk. The main thing I dislike about this market is that it starts at 3pm on Tuesdays and ooooo does it get busy (something close to 5,000 on opening day!!) so if you can bail out of work and scoot on over ASAP it's going to be for the best. Their website is actually updated on a regular bases and they'll let you know what's going on week to week during the open season (June through September). Local food, local entertainment, and locals socializing with locals -- get on down here!

Located in Downtown Renton, next to the bus depot.Excellent quality of produce, flowers, and a variety of food vendors. There is love music & dancing, and unlike most farmer's markets this one is in a plaza, not on the street or parking lot, surrounded by trees & flowers, there is plenty of parking in the vicinity for cars and bicycles, easy access via king county public transit. Though produce & flowers were fresh, and reasonably priced, can't say the same for some food vendors. $4 for a single corn on the cob? Come on, gimme a break.

Why is the Renton farmer's market so much better than Kent's but infinitely more difficult to visit? They run this event on Tuesdays, which makes it pretty inconvenient unless you can make your schedule get you there. There isn't enough there to make me really plan to go here, but it is one of the nicer farmer's markets I've visited in the area. If I'm around I'll visit, but other than that I'm not going to go out of my way. The selection is pretty good, but they break up traffic in a really bad way causing driving and transit to bottle neck around the transit center close by.

Love visiting the farmer's market and supporting the local farmer's. Tons of prepared food options and some vendors vary weekly. Lots of produce and flowers to select from. Walk around first before you buy to see who has the better deals on the stuff you want. They even have a kid center with crayons to entertain them. There is usually always a food demo going on as well with samples! Only open from June-September. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags!

First of all, I love that there's a farmers market close to where I live. Second, I'm just lucky that some of the places I've been following have a booth here so I got to check them out earlier today. This is a smaller farmers market than the ones in Seattle but it has a good variety of vendors. They have fruits, veggies, snacks, meals, desserts, and more! I'd be back for sure!

Tuesday is between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. stop by the farmers market, free parking and metered parking. Freshest produce around and friendliest service. Consistently reasonable pricing, support local.

Tuesdays during summer time! We visited last Tuesday for the first time. We were surprised how big it was here in Renton! It was crowded, packed with people and vendors. It was very lively. Located front space of the Renton Pavilion events center. It's outside, so it was dog-friendly!! Saw many cute doggies. They were selling produces of farm veggies, fresh fruits, fresh flowers, lavenders, jewelry, donuts to bakery items. We got cool bbq sauces, did WINE TASTING, bought more wines, donuts, and freshly squeezed lemonades. There were few food trucks and sitting areas as well. I wouldnt say it's greatly cheaper than grocery stores but i enjoyed fresh dirt on farm produces and the experience of the farmer's market in Renton. Will come back every Tuesdays!!

I have gone here for years to buy some produce and flowers for my wife. While the prices have historically been somewhat high, I did not mind paying a little extra for some quality. But this year I have noticed that pretty much everything is 2 to 3 times as much as just two years ago. Flowers were five to $10 for bouquets, now they are $20-$30. I paid $13 for a falafel wrap. Rainier cherries are seven to 8 dollars a pound when I can get them at Fred Meyer for 299 a pound. I know we have been hit with inflation, but this is perplexing.

The Renton Farmers Market used to be a highlight, but sad to say it's gone down hill. I'd still go as a way to work my dog around crowds and buy produce, but they don't allow dogs. Don't see much benefit over the grocery store.
